Chapter 174

The first-day box office statistics for both sides were calculated!

*Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets* North American first-day box office was 11 million USD!

*Tomb Raider*'s North American box office was 10.4 million USD!

The two differed by 600,000, considered a tie!

The second day.

*Harry Potter*'s box office was 13.4 million USD, while *Tomb Raider* exceeded *Harry Potter*, reaching 15.3 million USD.

The third day.

*Harry Potter* surpassed *Tomb Raider* again!

The box office war between the two was intense.

And while the box office war was in full swing, Chen Mo's second brand-new North American album, *Brilliant*, was officially launched!

That day, the album appeared in major music stores, and Chen Mo's fans lined up to buy it!

After purchasing it, they took the album home and started listening to it immediately.

*Brilliant* had ten songs in total, five electronic music tracks and five pop songs!

And the lead song was *Natural*, sung by Imagine Dragons.

When listening to this song, the passionate voice inside rang out, and the heart-shaking electronic music made the listeners open their mouths wide in an instant!

"Oh! God!"

"Oh my god! How can Chen Mo's throat sing this song!"

"Damn it! I love this song to death! I've already listened to it ten times!"

"God! I think Chen Mo is definitely God's child!"

On some North American music forums, netizens were crazily praising this album.

And under the praise of these listeners, more people became curious about Chen Mo's album through the internet.

Especially some adults!

Because Chen Mo's previous album, *Green Plum*, had a somewhat juvenile singing style and voice, but now, looking at the comments online, they became curious.

Soon, a day passed.

In just one day, the sales of Chen Mo's new album *Brilliant* in all of North America reached 480,000 copies!

The second day, the daily sales reached 630,000 copies!

The third day...

The fourth day.

The fifth day.

Chen Mo's name became popular in the music scene again, and the audience who liked him transformed from young boys and girls to adults!

Besides the album's popularity!

Avril, who participated in the album recording this time, also became a little popular!

That penetrating voice made many people curious about this girl.

On the movie side.

The box office war continued.

However, when it continued to the seventh day, the box office war changed!

On this day, box office statistics showed *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets* reached a daily box office of 18 million USD!

While *Tomb Raider* only had 12 million USD!

It directly surpassed the latter by 6 million USD!

This change not only surprised Paramount Pictures but also the Momo Company.

Both sides immediately launched an investigation and finally discovered that the reason for the box office growth was actually Chen Mo's album, which led more audience members to choose *Harry Potter*.

Learning this reason, Paramount Pictures was speechless and felt helpless in their hearts!

Simply playing dirty!

We are in the film industry; why are you bringing the influence of the music industry over here!

Although Paramount Pictures was helpless and even somewhat annoyed, they had no other way. Should they also let Angelina Jolie release an album?

Are you kidding!

If it were filming a nude photo collection, it might be possible, but releasing a record definitely wouldn't work!

Just like that, time passed day by day...

Twenty days later.

*Harry Potter* and *Tomb Raider* were both taken out of theaters.

The final North American box office for both sides settled at 380 million USD and 230 million USD respectively.

*Harry Potter* won a great victory!

Then the Momo Company started discussing the overseas release plan for *Harry Potter* with overseas parties.

At the same time.

Chris Columbus also started preparing the filming plan for the third *Harry Potter* movie, *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*.

Time arrived in July.

A month had passed since Chen Mo's new album *Brilliant* was released, and sales in all of North America reached 10 million, reaching Diamond Record status!

The Momo Company prepared to release the album in Southeast Asia.

At the same time.

In Southeast Asia, Zhou Jielun, who debuted last year and had a certain market in Taiwan, released his second album, *Fantasy*. As soon as the album was released, it caused heated discussion among the masses!

Especially the song *Nunchucks* inside, which pushed Zhou Jielun, who was already controversial, to the forefront.

Extremely fast singing speed, lyrics that couldn't be understood at all, but a rhythm that was catchy—it made those who liked it like it even more, and those who didn't like it hate it even more!

Tianya Forum...

"What kind of trash? I listened to it four or five times, and only heard 'Fast use nunchucks, hum hum ha hey!'"

"Haha, so brainwashing! Loved it, loved it!"

"How to change... how to change, fast use nunchucks!"

"Still better to listen to Chen Mo's *Sunny Day*!"

"Heard Chen Mo's North American new album *Brilliant* is going to be released in China, looking forward to it!"

"Looking forward to it +1"

"Looking forward to it +1000"

Soon, it was August.

The third *Harry Potter* movie was about to start filming!

Chen Mo called Liu Yifei, because he had previously said he would let Liu Yifei play a role in the third part.

Jingcheng, inside the Beijing Film Academy dormitory.

After receiving Chen Mo's call, Liu Yifei jumped up excitedly.

She contacted Liu Mu immediately and then asked for leave from school.

"Teacher, I want to ask for leave."

"Just started school and asking for leave already? What are you asking for leave for?"

"The third *Harry Potter* movie is starting filming, and I have a role in it, so I need to go over to film."

"Uh?"

The teacher was stunned and looked at Liu Yifei with some suspicion.

Finally, Liu Mu arrived at the school and explained the reason to the teacher, and only then did the teacher believe it.

Then Liu Yifei and Liu Mu took a flight to England, to the filming site of the third *Harry Potter* movie.

Three days later, Chen Mo also headed to the film crew.

Upon arriving at the crew, Chen Mo met with everyone in the crew!

Two years... Western children are naturally more precocious, so Emma Watson, who was already twelve, had changed quite a bit; her looks were still exquisite and cute, but some parts were already taking shape.

"Hey, Harry, long time no see. A new semester is about to start; are you ready for our adventure?"

Seeing Chen Mo arrive at the crew, Emma Watson said to Chen Mo with a smile.

Then she raised her hand and gently hugged Chen Mo.

"The little lotus has just revealed its sharp tip."
