Chapter 204

Zhou Jielun nodded hurriedly after hearing this.

Then the two walked toward the sofa.

Arriving at the sofa and sitting down, Chen Mo went straight to the point and asked: "Have you really considered breaking the contract with your company?"

Zhou Jielun was silent for two seconds, then nodded seriously: "Mm, I have already considered it."

Chen Mo said: "Originally, the evaluation of you from the outside world is not very good. If you take the initiative to break the contract, the pressure from the outside world might be even greater than last year. Can you hold on?"

Zhou Jielun nodded.

Seeing Zhou Jielun nod, Chen Mo didn't say anything else, reached out and patted Zhou Jielun's shoulder: "Good, actually I also support your choice. In my opinion, you are a genius, keep it up."

Listening to Chen Mo's encouragement, Zhou Jielun didn't feel strange at all because of Chen Mo's age.

Although Chen Mo was young, his status in the music and film circles was there, and saying such things that a senior would say to a junior to him could be considered reasonable.

"Thank you."

Zhou Jielun said gratefully.

"Haha, welcome to join Mo Mo's company. Tomorrow our company will hold a press conference, and a large-scale signing ceremony will be held then. You should also be there tomorrow. I will let my dad talk to you about the signing contract later."

"Mm, okay."

After the two finished chatting, Chen Mo turned and left.

The next day, Mo Mo's company held a large-scale signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony were all the artists who were going to sign with Mo Mo's company, including Mei Yanfang, Dong Jie, Zhou Jielun, Liu Yifei, etc.

Signing four artists at the same time, one of whom was a queen and movie queen, and the remaining three were newcomers who had just debuted and already had a certain fan base. This signing ceremony made domestic media scramble to report it.

"Mo Mo's Company's First Shot in China!"

"The Rise of Mo Mo's Company! Mei Yanfang Joins Mo Mo's Company!"

"Mo Mo's Company's First Plan! Stars Shine on the Day of the Opening Ceremony!"

Ignoring the media's praise, after Chen Mo finished his work, he immediately took Emma and Liu Yifei back to the Harry Potter set in the UK.

After returning to the Harry Potter set, Chen Mo restarted his filming life.

Soon time came to July.

The North American movie "Lord of the Rings" was released in China.

The huge battle scenes and high special effects won more than 7 million in box office on the first day of release!

The second day even reached a box office of more than 10 million!

This growth in box office made some domestic movies that were originally prepared for release retreat.

At the end of July, "Lord of the Rings" was taken off the shelves in the mainland. In more than twenty days, the total box office of Lord of the Rings reached an astonishing 240 million RMB!

Although it was only tens of millions when converted into US dollars, it made some North American distributors and companies see this huge cake in China!

Time came to August.

Harry Potter 4, which had been filmed for six months, was successfully completed!

After the completion, Chris Columbus took the crew back to Mo Mo's company in North America to start post-production.

And Chen Mo went to the University of Southern California School of Arts in Los Angeles, because Mother Chen had enrolled him in the directing department of the University of Southern California School of Arts.

Chen Mo just went to sign up and then hung his name there.

Of course, he didn't have time to study at that school all the time.

September.

The second big North American movie "Star Wars 3" was released in China, and at the same time, there was also the Chinese mainland director Chen Kaige's "Together with You."

The two movies were released at the same time, and the winner was decided on the first day.

"Star Wars 3" exceeded the 1.2 million box office of "Together with You" with a box office of 4.3 million!

The second day even had nearly 5 million more box office than the other party!

This collision made Chen Kaige's reputation in China drop a lot, and at the same time, many directors also realized a problem!

The invasion of North American movies is coming!

October.

The third North American movie "The Bourne Identity" was released in China, and it also swept nearly 100 million in box office!

In November, "Stuart Little" was released domestically, defeating the domestic film "Chinese Odyssey 2002."

In this year, domestic movies were almost unable to get ahead!

For a time, the mainland film market fell into confusion.

November.

Los Angeles, at the villa.

Chen Mo had been producing albums here during this time.

First was the production of his second domestic album and the production of his third album in North America, and there were also songs for Avril's second album.

His two albums, plus the lyrics and music for one album, kept Chen Mo busy for two months.

After finishing, Chen Mo was about to call Avril to ask her to come over to get the music, but at this time his phone rang.

Chen Mo picked up his phone and saw it was Father Chen's call.

"Dad, what's wrong?"

Chen Mo answered the phone and asked.

Father Chen said on the other end of the phone: "Mo Mo, the Spring Festival Gala just called me, inviting you to participate in this year's Spring Festival Gala."

Hearing Father Chen's words, Chen Mo pondered for a moment and said: "Oh, okay, I'm done here, it just so happens that I'll return to China to record the album in a few days, I'll go over after I go back."

"Okay."

After getting the answer, Father Chen hung up the phone directly.

Then Chen Mo called Avril.

"Your album songs are produced, come over and get them."

"Really! I'm coming over now!"

Avril said excitedly and hung up the phone.

Half an hour later.

The roar of a sports car came from the villa entrance.

Hearing this sound, Chen Mo knew it was Avril, that girl, who had come!

Last year's first album made Avril a lot of money, and she, who was already rebellious by nature, bought a supercar directly.

After Avril arrived at the villa, she went directly to the second floor and found Chen Mo.

"Here, the songs are all there, I also made a demo of the music, you can write it yourself later."

Chen Mo pointed to the papers beside him and said.

Avril hurriedly walked over and picked up the papers, looking at them seriously.

While looking, she was humming the songs Chen Mo wrote.

Although it was November now, this girl wasn't wearing much; she was wearing tight jeans on the bottom, outlining her slender figure and curves, and a simple T-shirt on the top, with a short denim jacket over it, and the jacket was also decorated with some metal ornaments. Her makeup was still that rebellious smoky makeup.

"Damn it! I love this song to death! Chen Mo! I found that the songs you created are so in line with the ideas I want to express!"

After reading the songs Chen Mo wrote, Avril looked at Chen Mo with glowing eyes and said excitedly.

Chen Mo rolled his eyes at her.

Nonsense.

These songs are all yours! I just helped you write them a year in advance.

Please call me the porter!

"You are really a genius! I think there is no one more powerful than you in this world!"

Avril continued excitedly.

After speaking, she pounced over directly, then pursed her lips and leaned toward Chen Mo.

Mmm...

A few seconds later.

"Damn it! You girl, my mouth is bleeding!"

Chen Mo pushed Avril away with a dark face.

Avril's pretty face was slightly red at this moment; despite her rebellious appearance and personality, she revealed the shyness of a little girl at this moment.

"Sorry, my experience is not rich."

Avril said embarrassedly... ===== CHAPTER 206 =====
