Chapter 222

Zhang Baizhi's eyes turned, and she said softly: "That's not necessarily true. I think he just wants to show off. You aren't even as old as him, why don't you do that?"

As she spoke, she leaned toward Chen Mo.

"Don't move, there's something in your hair."

Chen Mo was just about to move aside when Zhang Baizhi said.

Chen Mo smiled: "It's fine, I'll do it myself later..."

As he spoke, he turned to leave.

To be honest.

It wasn't that Chen Mo was timid, but this woman truly couldn't be touched. In his previous life, she was full of lies, and in order to attract attention, she could say anything.

Even if he touched her and they were just pure friends with benefits, she would still cling to him later!

If he had replaced Zhang Baizhi with Cai Zhuoyan at this moment, Chen Mo would definitely have pulled her into the bathroom stall without a second thought.

Watching Chen Mo about to leave, Zhang Baizhi hurriedly took a step forward and reached out to grab him.

Hiss...

"Let go!"

Chen Mo frowned.

Zhang Baizhi subconsciously let go, and Chen Mo turned and left.

After Chen Mo left, Zhang Baizhi was a little more sober now. Thinking of what she had just done, she couldn't help but feel a little worried.

Just now, seeing Chen Mo, seeing that incredibly handsome face, her brain had heated up and she had done such a thing.

Now that she thought back, what if Chen Mo told Xie Tingfeng?

Thinking of this, Zhang Baizhi's face turned somewhat pale.

On the other side.

Chen Mo returned to the dining table.

Regarding what just happened, Chen Mo naturally wouldn't tell Xie Tingfeng, who was lying drunk on the table; after all, he wasn't familiar with the guy.

Picking up the glass on the table, Chen Mo raised it and smiled at everyone: "Big brothers, let's drink!"

"Let's!"

Everyone smiled and raised their glasses one after another.

An hour later, a somewhat drunk Chen Mo returned to the hotel where he was staying.

Lying on the bed, Chen Mo fell asleep in a daze.

The next day.

Chen Mo rested at the hotel for a day, and on the third day, the crew held an opening ceremony.

Beheading a chicken, worshipping the Second Master, lion dancing, and setting off firecrackers—after the whole process, it was already afternoon, and then the crew began filming.

New Police Story was the first action movie Chen Mo had filmed so far.

Although most of it was gunfights, there were also quite a few action fights.

Among them, hanging on wires was indispensable.

Chen Mo, who had been filming since he was four, experienced hanging on wires for the first time.

The feeling changed from curiosity at the beginning to excitement, then to exhaustion, and finally to pain!

It really hurt in certain places!

Soon, half a month passed.

On the other side, Chen Fu had already started initiating the project for Transformers.

The project appeared on the official website of Momo Company.

Some people saw the project initiation on the official website and were shocked when they saw the 200 million US dollar investment for this movie!

Among them, the most shocked was mainland China.

200 million US dollar investment!

One must know that the movie investment in the country so far was only Hero, which was released by Lao Mouzi last year.

The total investment for that movie, including promotion, was only 30 million US dollars!

And Momo Company's investment in filming alone reached 200 million US dollars!

That didn't even count the promotion!

Thousands of people, thousands of thoughts!

Some were curious, some were disdainful.

In Lao Mouzi's villa in Jingcheng.

At this moment, Lao Mouzi and several well-known domestic directors were sitting together drinking tea.

"Momo Company has had a big move recently, investing 200 million US dollars."

One of the directors took a sip of the tea in his cup and sighed.

Hearing his words, Lao Mouzi, who was sitting in the main seat, sneered: "200 million US dollars? Hehe... having been in the circle for so many years, they say it's 200 million US dollars, but it's probably only about half that."

"That's still 100 million US dollars."

"Who do you think they will find to be the director for such a large investment?"

"It's probably Cameron; after all, the young master of Momo Company (Chen Mo) has a good relationship with Cameron, and Cameron is an expert at filming major productions."

"I think it's unlikely. After all, Momo Company's official website said it's a domestic film. Finding a foreign director for a domestic film makes language communication a problem. I think it should be a domestic director."

As the words fell, everyone's heart stirred.

Which director doesn't want to film a major production!

The promotion says 200 million US dollars, even if it's cut in half, it's still 100 million US dollars!

A big-budget movie of over 800 million RMB!

If one could direct it!

Thinking of this, some people began to ponder.

On the other side.

The New Police Story crew.

"Chen Mo, is your Momo Company really going to film a 200 million US dollar movie?"

Taking advantage of the break in filming, Cheng Long came to Chen Mo's side and asked with surprise.

Chen Mo smiled and said: "Mm, I actually had this idea last year, but there was a problem that hadn't been solved. It wasn't until last month that we got an answer, so the movie project is initiated now. Once we finish filming here, I'm going to film Transformers."

Hearing Chen Mo's words, Cheng Long smiled and asked: "Does this play have any suitable roles?"

Chen Mo thought for a moment and didn't give Cheng Long an answer immediately, but said: "Brother Long, let me go back and see."

Cheng Long nodded after hearing this.

Then he thought of something and asked again: "By the way, who are you finding to be the director for this play?"

Chen Mo said: "I'm directing it."

Cheng Long was stunned instantly, and then looked at Chen Mo with a strange expression... ===== CHAPTER 224 =====
