Chapter 248

And Huayi Company, as the protagonist, also announced the severance of their cooperative relationship with Wang Jinghua at the first opportunity, and stated that there would be no possibility of cooperation in the future!

However, this wasn't the end.

The next day, Wang Jinghua announced to the public that she was joining Momo's company. In addition to this, the actors who jumped ship with Wang Jinghua also announced one after another that they were joining Momo's company.

Momo's company also gave a response very quickly, stating that they had already signed contracts with Wang Jinghua and the artists under her.

This news was released, making the already lively entertainment industry boil like boiling water.

Overwhelming reports!

There were all kinds of speculations in the reports!

Some reports said that Momo's company poached people from behind the scenes and spent a great price to get Wang Jinghua to jump ship with the artists under her.

Some reports said that Wang Jinghua had already fallen out with Brothers Entertainment, and Momo's company just took advantage of the situation.

There were also reports saying that Chen Fu and Wang Jinghua had a relationship...

Mother Chen saw this report, and then interrogated Chen Fu fiercely.

Soon, time arrived in July.

The sample footage of Transformers was completed.

The sample footage was handed over to the SARFT (State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television) for review at the first opportunity.

Because of the special nature of this film, plus the fact that it had been hyped up before, the leaders personally participated in the review after receiving the sample footage.

The sample footage wasn't the finished film; the sample footage didn't have post-production dubbing. Although it looked a bit awkward, everyone was still shocked by the content in the sample footage!

Movies can be filmed like this!

Two hundred million US dollars!

It's really not a joke! You get what you pay for!

"Leader, should we cut some parts of this sample footage?"

The review staff of the SARFT asked.

The leader pondered for a moment and said: "Cut two shots symbolically and then pass it, and then have them try to set the release date!"

"Okay, leader."

The review staff turned and left.

After the review staff left, the leader who watched the sample footage of Transformers today was in a great mood. He became interested and personally reviewed a few more films submitted for review.

When he saw one of the films, the leader was stunned for a moment.

"House of Flying Daggers? Director Zhang Yimou's movie?"

The leader muttered, then played the sample footage.

More than an hour later, the leader finished watching the sample footage, and the smile on his face became even brighter.

"Haha, another good film. It seems the spring of our domestic film industry is coming."

The leader smiled and then asked the staff to pass House of Flying Daggers.

Then he thought of something and said to the staff: "By the way, mention to Director Zhang that the release dates of the two films shouldn't conflict."

"Understood, leader."

The staff left.

Soon, the review results of the two films were notified to Momo's company and Director Zhang Yimou.

After receiving the results, both sides were preparing the release date.

"Director Zhang, the leader said, you should keep an eye on it; it's best not to have the release date of your film conflict with that film from Momo's company."

The SARFT staff conveyed the leader's words to Director Zhang Yimou.

Director Zhang Yimou frowned after hearing this.

"Alright, I know, hang up."

Director Zhang Yimou hung up the phone heavily.

Then the expression on his face became ugly.

Actually, at the beginning, when Momo's company announced the Transformers plan, Director Zhang Yimou felt some disdain in his heart, but at the same time, he expected the other party to invite him to direct, after all, it was a production of 200 million US dollars.

But he didn't expect things to exceed everyone's expectations.

So this is also the reason why Director Zhang Yimou had opinions about Transformers.

And now, because of this sentence from the SARFT leader, Director Zhang Yimou's opinion of Transformers became even greater!

In his view, it was definitely the SARFT leader worrying that if the two films were put together, House of Flying Daggers would be overshadowed by Transformers.

After all, it's an investment of 200 million US dollars!

The film with the highest investment in the world!

Always have to save some face!

Director Zhang Yimou picked up the phone and dialed a number.

"The film passed, let's set the release date for October 1st."

"Okay."

On the other side, Momo's company.

After Chen Fu learned that the film had passed, he also started to arrange the release date.

And coincidentally, the time was also set for October 1st.

The next day.

Both films announced their release dates at the same time!

When he saw the release dates of both sides, Chen Fu didn't have any thoughts, but on the contrary, Director Zhang Yimou became a bit excited!

They collided! They collided!

He had made the decision first; it was you who took the initiative to come over, so don't blame me for slapping your face!

Director Zhang Yimou thought excitedly.

On the other side, the SARFT leader was a bit angry when he saw that the two films had collided.

He hurriedly called Director Zhang Yimou, but couldn't get through.

Then he called several more times, and after still not getting through, the leader sighed.

Forget it! Let him be!

Soon, time arrived in August.

Harry Potter 5 wrapped up filming.

After attending the wrap-up banquet, Chen Mo took a plane back to the country the next day.

12 hours later, Chen Mo arrived at Jingcheng Airport.

Then he took a car back home.

After resting at home for a day and sleeping until noon the next day, Chen Mo finally got up from bed sluggishly.

Then he ate lunch slowly, and only then did he drive to the company.

Arriving downstairs at the company, Chen Mo got out of the car and entered the company.

Arriving at Chen Fu's office, Chen Mo pushed the door open and walked straight in.

At this moment, Chen Fu was discussing company matters with Wang Jinghua.

After seeing Chen Mo come in, Chen Fu waved at Chen Mo.

Then he introduced: "Wang Jinghua, Minister of the Artist Department. You can just call her Sister Wang."

"Hello, Sister Wang."

Chen Mo smiled and reached out his hand.

Wang Jinghua hurriedly stood up and reached out her hand.

After all, the person in front of her is the crown prince of Momo's company, and whether in the music circle or the film and television circle, he has a global A-list status!

It can even be said as a matter of fact that Chen Mo is currently the biggest star in the country.

"Hello."

The two shook hands.

Then Chen Mo walked to the side and sat down.

After sitting down, Chen Mo yawned.

In order to adjust the jet lag, Chen Mo stayed up all night in the UK, and then went to sleep right after returning to the country. Although he slept until noon the next day, he was still a bit sleepy.

Seeing Chen Mo's appearance, Chen Fu smiled and said: "Just now, Minister Wang and I were talking about you. You haven't had an agent or assistant by your side for these past few years. In addition, your Uncle Zhou (Zhou Baoguo) is getting old, so I'm planning to let him retire and find you a new driver. Let your Sister Wang arrange these things for you."

Hearing Chen Fu's words, Chen Mo said: "Dad, Uncle Zhou is retiring, you can't treat him poorly."
