Chapter 320

Film reviews about the three movies released yesterday appeared on the internet and in newspapers.

"*Crazy Stone* is a free movie. The black humor expressed by the newcomer director makes all the audience laugh out loud. In addition, the imaginative story plot is also an absolute highlight of this movie!"

"*The Promise* movie, besides the exquisite image quality, only has a pile of Shakespearean dialogues carefully crafted. People feel it's very philosophical when they hear it, but it's also dry. To describe it in one word, it's stupid. Especially in the later stages of the movie, the lines inside make people laugh their teeth off! You ruined my chance to be a good person? Which brain-dead screenwriter came up with this line! The movie is trash! Not worth watching!"

"Review of *Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles*, I'm very sorry... I can't write it, because when I saw that they were all actors from Little Japan, I had already stood up and left the screening hall!"

The internet audience also discussed these three movies.

"Haha, *Crazy Stone* recommended by my husband is really too funny!"

"Strongly suggest watching *Crazy Stone*!"

"F*** you, refund! Trash *The Promise*! Trash director!"

"Old Mouzi has gotten carried away! With so many domestic actors, he didn't look for them, but looked for a group of Little Japan actors! Trash!"

In Chen Kai's office.

At this moment, Chen Kai looked at the reviews on the internet, and a look of anger appeared on his face.

He had put a lot of effort into this movie, so he had high expectations for it, but the audience's reaction at this moment was completely different from what he imagined!

"A bunch of bumpkins! They don't understand movies!"

Chen Kai cursed in a low voice with a dark face.

Just then, the assistant walked in.

"Director Chen, an event is about to start!"

"I know."

Chen Kai said with a dark face.

Then he stood up, walked out of the office, and went downstairs.

After arriving downstairs, a group of reporters guarding the entrance surrounded him and asked about the movie *The Promise*.

Listening to the questions raised by the reporters, Chen Kai said with a dark face: "*The Promise* is the best movie I have created. No audience will understand the meaning expressed in this movie for five years!"

After saying this, Chen Kai left directly.

Time passed day by day.

Soon, the first-day box office statistics for the three movies were calculated.

*Crazy Stone* first-day box office: 3.19 million.

*Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles* first-day box office: 11.2 million.

*The Promise* first-day box office: 14.3 million.

*Crazy Stone* was ranked at the bottom, which didn't surprise anyone, and everyone felt the same about the box office of the other two.

After the second day's box office statistics came out, the box office of the three movies changed significantly!

Among them, *Crazy Stone*'s daily box office reached 8.4 million.

The box office for *Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles* and *The Promise* were 5.1 million and 6.1 million, respectively.

The third day...

*Crazy Stone*'s daily box office broke 10 million, reaching 11.24 million.

As for the remaining two movies, they continued to decline.

The fourth day...

*Crazy Stone*'s daily box office reached 12.4 million.

The box office for *Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles* and *The Promise* had already dropped to 2.2 million.

In the next 130 days, this year's New Year slot became the stage for *Crazy Stone* alone.

The daily box office reached 10 million.

Although the box office began to decline after a few days, it still maintained around 5 million.

The matter was already a foregone conclusion.

Mo Mo company's movie won again.

At this moment, a sentence appeared on the internet.

Produced by Mo Mo, must be a masterpiece!

As long as it was a work produced by Mo Mo company, even if it wasn't starred in by Chen Mo, the work would definitely not be bad!

December 23rd.

*Crazy Stone* ended its screening. In the 23 days up to now, *Crazy Stone*'s total box office reached 99.3 million!

It was only 700,000 short of breaking 100 million!

For a low-budget movie that only cost 3 million-plus, this was definitely a miracle!

Director Ning Hao made his mark because of this movie, and the actors in the movie also gained a certain amount of fame.

Especially actor Huang Bai; although he didn't play the protagonist in this show, he left a deep impression on the audience, especially the scene where he crawled out of the manhole cover, then robbed the bakery, and was frantically fleeing on the highway with the boss riding an electric scooter, which was remembered by many audience members.

December 24th.

Mo Mo company held a victory celebration for the *Crazy Stone* film crew.

And at the celebration, Huang Bai, who had been drifting in Beijing for so many years and finally made it, cried directly.

Soon, time passed day by day.

In January, Director Martin from North America called Chen Mo.

The post-production of *Crank* had been completed, and the movie had passed the review. The movie's rating was USA: R, which was a restricted movie.

Because this movie was filled with a large number of violent scenes!

The movie's release date was set for a month later, which was after the Chinese Spring Festival.

Besides *Crank*, *Iron Man*, filmed by Mo Mo company in North America, also successfully wrapped up! It had also started post-production.

Additionally, *Harry Potter 7* had started preparations!

Domestically, the actors and film crew for *Soldiers Sortie* had all been assembled. Now the actors had been sent to the military for three months of training, and only after the three months of training were over would they officially start filming.

Right.

It is worth mentioning that in *Soldiers Sortie*, except for the actor playing Cheng Cai being changed, the other roles were still the original cast.

In the past life, the actor playing Cheng Cai in *Soldiers Sortie* was Chen Shicheng, but in this life, it was changed to Huang Haibo.
