The first thing was to release an announcement in the game, and at the same time start promoting the LoL World Championship on Tieba, forums, and Weibo.
LoL is holding a global World Championship, with a winning prize of 1 million US dollars.
Once this news came out, it immediately caused a global sensation.
1 million US dollars!
This was definitely a huge sum of money at that time.
No one expected that playing a game could actually earn so much money!
If anyone won this prize money, they could directly leap into the ranks of the wealthy.
