Chapter 511

In fact, letting Chen Mo star in Avatar wasn't just Chen Fu's idea.

It was also Cameron's idea.

Since Titanic, Cameron had been thinking about collaborating with Chen Mo again.

In his eyes, other male actors were already hard to surpass Chen Mo's acting skills.

After several years, Chen Mo had grown quite a bit from a beautiful young man, and his physique and height had also become very suitable for starring as a soldier.

This was also one of the important reasons why Cameron was willing to sell the script.

He wasn't sure if he could invite Chen Mo to star in the film if he invited him directly.

After all, the Mo Mo Company was releasing boutique films every year; there was no reason for Chen Mo to give up his own company's films and run off to star in someone else's film.

But it would be different if this film belonged to the Mo Mo Company.

For Cameron, the director's name was still his, and he could still direct the film personally.

Plus the 1.2 billion US dollar script price.

Selling the script to Chen Fu wasn't a difficult thing to accept.

Moreover, the concept Avatar wanted to realize was too advanced, and the preparation time was too long; Fox had actually invested in Avatar before, but last year, Fox gave up on this film.

There was no other way; Cameron could only come out again to pull for investment from all sides.

After all, without money, let alone filming a movie, he couldn't even hire actors.

"Since our family spent 1.2 billion to buy the script, of course, I have to act in it."

Chen Mo nodded.

One had to say that Chen Fu's luck had always been very good; this time, even the script for Avatar was bought by him.

As long as this film was developed well, it might be able to create a higher box office than in the past life!

Before Chen Fu took over Avatar, Avatar was actually already doing preliminary preparations.

First, Cameron himself adjusted the camera, changing the bulky 3D camera into a machine weighing only 23 jin, and many preparations including preliminary ones were already ready.

Chen Mo only needed to join the crew and film.

At the same time, My Love from the Star premiered simultaneously in China and Gao Li.

When the TV drama was just promoted, many female fans were looking forward to Chen Mo's appearance.

On the day of the premiere, they stayed in front of the TV set directly.

"Ahhh! Mo Mo is so handsome!"

"This TV drama is so innovative; the protagonist is actually from outer space."

"I can't take it anymore; Mo Mo looks so charming."

"I knew this TV drama was worth looking forward to!"

"Such a perfect man can only be seen in TV dramas!"

When Chen Mo appeared in the image of Professor Do, screams of young girls came from many residential areas.

Not only were the fans in front of the TV very excited, but many excited comments from fans also appeared on Tieba and Weibo at the same time.

The real-time hot posts on Tieba reached as high as over 1,000, and the private messages and comments for Chen Mo reached as high as 10+

A sweeping grandpa in a certain residential area was sweeping the floor when he suddenly heard screams from girls coming from all directions.

"What's wrong? Did a collective terrorist attack happen?"

The grandpa looked confused.

That day, the viewership ratings of My Love from the Star in Gao Li reached 29%, ranking first in viewership ratings for TV dramas in the same time slot.

The viewership ratings in China reached 37%.

As an idol drama, this viewership rating was already quite considerable.
