Chapter 516

Slow work produces fine products.

With Chen Mo writing so quickly, there's no guarantee the script isn't crudely made; Liu had high expectations for this script, and if Chen Mo's script was crudely made, he would definitely be very disappointed.

But unexpectedly, the quality of Chen Mo's script was quite good!

No.

It should be said that it was perfect.

This idea of his was based on the science fiction novella *The Wandering Earth* he wrote.

This novel was written in 2000, and many ideas in it were still quite raw and immature.

And Chen Mo's script had already supplemented all the immature concepts in the novel, and even perfected many of them.

"Mo Mo, you are simply incredible; there are many ideas I need to learn from you."

Liu read it over and over again, full of praise for Chen Mo's script.

It's a good thing he came to find Chen Mo; if he had found another director, they definitely wouldn't have been able to write such an excellent script.

"If the script is confirmed, then let's prepare to start filming."

Chen Mo smiled at Liu.

Liu certainly had no objections; he couldn't wait for the movie to be filmed sooner!

But before the movie officially started filming, *The Wandering Earth* still needed casting; originally, Liu wanted Chen Mo to play the role of Liu Qi, believing that Chen Mo's age was very suitable for Liu Qi.

But finding someone who could match Chen Mo in acting skills and also play his father.

Looking at the entire entertainment industry, it is indeed a bit difficult.

So in the end, everyone unanimously agreed that Chen Mo would play Liu Peiqiang, and then they would find a young actor to play the role of Liu Qi.

As soon as the casting poster for *The Wandering Earth* was released, all the young male actors in the country were ready.

If other companies wanted to film science fiction movies, they definitely wouldn't be this interested.

But this is Mo Mo Company!

And they could also act alongside Chen Mo!

Even if science fiction films don't have good development in the country, as long as they can act alongside Chen Mo, it means a limitless future.

Wang Jinghua prepared the list of male actors, and when Chen Mo finished filming *Avatar* and rested, he could return to cast the roles.

*Avatar* filming set.

Besides filming outdoors, there were also some plots that needed to be filmed in the wilderness.

To make the movie scenes look more exquisite than in the previous life, Chen Mo specifically improved the quality of many films, including the filming of exterior scenes.

In the movie plot, Pandora is a very magical planet, and the vegetation and animals inside are all very magical.

So to film exterior scenes, they also needed to find places where the vegetation and animals were very magical.

That is, the primeval forests near the equator.

Filming here is very difficult, and the requirements for the actors' physical strength and sense of belief are very high.

If you are not careful, you won't be able to persist.

"Mo Mo, why don't you let a stunt double film for you? If something happens to you during filming, your fans will kill me."

Cameron looked at Chen Mo.

Because the image of the Avatar can be processed in post-production, if the scenes are too dangerous, actors can let stunt doubles who look similar film these segments.

Especially since Chen Mo also has to perform fight scenes in the primeval jungle.

This places extremely high demands on the actor.

Generally, actors with higher market values would choose to use stunt doubles in such situations.

"It's okay, I can film it myself."

Chen Mo shook his head.

Special effects can indeed make stunt doubles look very similar to him, but they still can't handle some detailed issues.

Seeing Chen Mo so insistent, Cameron didn't say anything more, but added a few more accompanying medical personnel to the team.

Soon, the *Avatar* film crew borrowed a helicopter locally and flew to the filming site.

Sure enough, the filming site was very stuffy and humid, and there were poisonous insects everywhere.

In short, the filming process was very arduous.
