Chapter 518

China, Mo Mo Company.

Wang Jinghua had already prepared the casting matters for *The Wandering Earth*, just waiting for Chen Mo to return to start the open auditions.

On the second day of Chen Mo's arrival in China, various young actors flooded into the gate of Mo Mo Company.

Chen Mo, Liu, and Wang Jinghua sat in front of the table; they were responsible for selecting the candidate for Liu Qi.

Soon, the open auditions began; the first young man to enter was someone who looked mysteriously confident.

"Hello, teachers, my name is Zhang Han; I believe I am very capable of acting alongside Teacher Chen Mo; choosing me to star is absolutely the right choice."

As soon as Zhang Han entered, he said a lot to Chen Mo and the others.

Making Wang Jinghua and Liu frown.

Chen Mo was stunned for a moment, recognizing this person as the "pond owner" from his future life.

"You should go back and contract your fish pond."

Chen Mo directly rejected Zhang Han.

"Contract a fish pond? Which fish pond?"

Until he walked out the door, he was still puzzled.

Completely unable to figure out what Chen Mo meant.

"It's a good thing Mo Mo is here; otherwise, if the young generation of actors were all like this, then the future of Chinese film and television dramas would definitely decline."

Wang Jinghua looked at Zhang Han's back and shook her head.

Now, such young people are becoming more and more numerous, lacking strength but being mysteriously confident; Chen Mo is indeed a rare existence in the entertainment industry.

Chen Mo and the others interviewed several more people in succession.

Finding that not one actor met their requirements.

It made Chen Mo feel a bit helpless.

Just as they were thinking that they shouldn't be able to find an actor for Liu Qi today, a head suddenly poked out from the doorway.

"Teachers, can I come in now?"

That person grinned at them, his behavior very eccentric.

From the moment this head appeared, without needing this person to introduce himself, Chen Mo and the others had already recognized him.

Isn't this Zhang Yishan, who played Liu Xing in *Home with Kids*!

"Hello everyone, I am the actor Zhang Yishan; I am here today to audition for the actor for *The Wandering Earth*; teachers, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me."

Zhang Yishan grinned foolishly at Chen Mo and the others; the whole person looked rascally and bad, which was actually very consistent with the image of Liu Qi.

And Zhang Yishan debuted as a child star, and his acting skills were very natural.

Letting him film this movie should be the best choice.

Chen Mo and Wang Jinghua looked at each other, their thoughts very consistent.

"You have passed the audition; after today ends, I will send you the casting notice and script for *The Wandering Earth*."

Wang Jinghua spoke to Zhang Yishan.

Zhang Yishan said "Ah."

Not expecting to be selected as soon as he came in.

"Can I ask what kind of role I need to play in the movie?"

Zhang Yishan scratched his head.

Actually, when Mo Mo Company released the casting announcement for *The Wandering Earth*, they didn't say what role they needed to play.

People coming to audition were all aiming to act alongside Chen Mo.

Zhang Yishan also came to audition because he had admired Chen Mo since he was a child and dreamed of acting alongside him one day.

"You are my son, I am your father."

Chen Mo smiled wickedly.

Pfft.

Liu and Wang Jinghua couldn't help it and laughed out loud at the same time.

Is there any way to introduce a character like that?

It's clear that Chen Mo is taking advantage of Zhang Yishan.

Zhang Yishan was also depressed at being called a son for no reason.

However, being able to act alongside Chen Mo, if being a son means being a son, then so be it.

It's quite worth it.

The actors were selected, and *The Wandering Earth* was about to start preparing for filming.

The news that Mo Mo Company was going to film a science fiction movie reached the domestic media for the first time.

"Mo Mo Company is going to film a Chinese-themed science fiction movie!"

"Following *Avatar*, another science fiction movie starts filming!"

"The rise of Chinese science fiction films, two major moves by Mo Mo Company!"

"Chen Mo strikes strongly with a domestic science fiction movie!"

The media were frantically reporting on the two moves of Mo Mo Company.

PS: Responding to everyone why *Avatar* sold for 1.2 billion; because *Avatar* started production a long time ago, and a lot of funds had already been invested, including filming equipment and 3D technology, it's just that Fox gave up on continuing the investment in *Avatar*; the 1.2 billion also included the funds for the later promotion and production of *Avatar*, which is not much different from the money Fox and Cameron spent on *Avatar* in reality; it's not just the money for buying the script.
