Chapter 551

"And this time, once these two TV series came out, many domestic film and TV companies followed suit to film xianxia-themed and sitcom TV series, and they are all expected to finish filming within half a year."

As she spoke, Wang Jinghua's tone became a bit proud.

Now Mo Mo Company has completely become the vane of the film and TV market; almost every time Mo Mo Company releases a film or TV series, many film and TV companies will rush to release a follow-up film or TV series.

As long as they can keep up with the popularity, they can follow the trend and make easy money.

Currently, several TV series companies are already following the trend to film xianxia dramas.

Chen Mo gave an "uh-huh" to indicate he knew.

Following the trend to film movies and TV shows is a very normal thing; anyway, the movies and TV shows filmed by other companies could never have the same popularity as *Three Lives, Three Worlds* and *iPartment*.

Following the trend can even increase the popularity, making the popularity of *Three Lives, Three Worlds* and *iPartment* even higher.

"It's just that some film and TV producers have started to develop in the direction of palace dramas; they should be wanting to preemptively seize the market share that Mo Mo Company hasn't involved itself in, and among them, the one with the greatest competitiveness against us is Yu Zheng Studio."

When saying this, Wang Jinghua frowned.

There aren't many palace dramas on the market yet, and she isn't that familiar with palace dramas either.

If other film and TV companies release a hit palace drama, it will still preemptively seize the market.

After all, the number one viewership rating on TV stations and the entire internet can only belong to one TV series.

If other TV series seize the market, it means the TV series produced by Mo Mo Company will rank lower.

Palace dramas?

Isn't that the era when Yu Zheng makes easy money filming bad movies?

Chen Mo raised his eyebrows and suddenly recalled some memories from his past life.

He previously lived abroad and didn't know much about the domestic TV series industry, but he also knew that almost every hit bad movie at that time was filmed by Yu Zheng...

This included thunderous dramas like *Meteor Shower*.

It also made many artists famous.

Originally, according to the timeline of the past world, Yu Zheng Studio was still slowly developing.

Now it seems that because of Mo Mo Company, Yu Zheng Studio has started to exert its strength in advance.

Their idea is also very simple; the viewership ratings of xianxia dramas definitely can't beat *Three Lives, Three Worlds*, and the viewership ratings of sitcoms definitely can't beat *iPartment*.

So they simply started from palace dramas.

However, it's not that simple to seize the market and make a hit TV series.

"Alright then, we'll film palace dramas too."

Chen Mo smiled.

"We're going to film palace dramas too?"

Wang Jinghua was taken aback.

She remembers they have never had the experience of filming palace dramas.

"Yes, that's right. I'll send you the script in two days; you send out audition notices according to the crew, and wait for me to return to the country to interview the actors."

Chen Mo arranged it.

Hearing Chen Mo say this, Wang Jinghua didn't say anything else and began preparing for the actors' auditions.

However, she thought about it roughly.

If they are filming a palace drama, it's about the women in the harem fighting.

That means this show will use a lot of female stars.

It is indeed necessary to notify auditions in advance.

For the next few days, Chen Mo was filming and writing the script.

The palace drama he wants to film is *Empresses in the Palace*, which is also known as the best palace drama in the mainland.

It was around 2009 that at least 5 or 6 palace dramas were aired domestically at the same time, and many palace dramas were popular for a while.

It's just that after being popular, very few people remembered these TV series.

The only palace drama that spanned ten years and was still remembered by the audience was *Empresses in the Palace*.

Yu Zheng's routine is very simple.

Handsome men and beautiful women stars gather together to act in painful love literature; it might make many viewers hooked when watching it at the time, but the plot simply cannot stand up to scrutiny.

*Empresses in the Palace* is different; not only are the actors' acting skills outstanding, but many places also respect history.

So Mo Mo Company only needs one TV series to occupy the entire palace drama market. ===== CHAPTER 553 =====
