Chapter 681

"Help me refuse."

Chen Mo refused.

Participating in the Spring Festival Gala last year was because Chen Mo had time, but this year was different.

"The Voice" was about to start recording soon, and he didn't have time to participate in the Spring Festival Gala.

"Also, the Grammy Awards ceremony is about to start, and after the Spring Festival, the Oscar Awards ceremony will also start."

Wang Jinghua continued.

"Okay, I know."

Chen Mo nodded.

Participating in the Grammy Awards ceremony only takes one night and will not delay the recording of the show.

And the fact that he won an award could also make the popularity of "The Voice" even greater.

"'Wolf Warrior' has already been coordinated with major cinema chains, and it has been scheduled for the Spring Festival holiday slot, and now it has also begun to increase promotional efforts."

Wang Jinghua reported the last thing.

Regarding movie promotion, Chen Mo didn't need to worry at all; leaving it to Wang Jinghua was the right thing to do.

After Wang Jinghua had explained everything, she exited Chen Mo's office.

……

A few days later, at the Grammy venue.

This year's awards ceremony was highly anticipated by the entire European and American music scene.

In 2008, the music scenes of the United States and the United Kingdom could be said to be a battle of the gods, producing many classic songs.

So the whole of Europe and America was looking forward to whether this year's awards would belong to the American music scene or the British music scene.

Just as other singers were arriving at the scene one after another, Chen Mo was still on his way to the Grammys.

"Brother Mo, will we be late?"

Xu Xiaofeng was very embarrassed.

Who would have thought that a big blunder would happen when they left.

The hotel elevator suddenly broke down, and Chen Mo and Xu Xiaofeng had to walk down from the 38th floor together.

Originally, they calculated that they would arrive at the scene just in time, but now calculating it, they would definitely be late.

"If we're late, we're late; the trophy won't grow legs and run away anyway."

Chen Mo leaned back in his chair for a nap.

That's true.

Seeing Chen Mo so relaxed, Xu Xiaofeng also gradually relaxed.

Grammy venue.

A group of American singers and British singers looked at each other with displeasure, and there was a lot of open and secret mockery.

Reporters were also frantically taking photos of the scene.

Until the Grammy Awards were about to officially begin, the last luxury car appeared at the venue entrance.

"Chen Mo is here!"

A reporter shouted.

Chen Mo!

How could they have forgotten Chen Mo!

The music scene battle between the United States and the United Kingdom this year was so intense that it almost made everyone forget that Chen Mo also released an album this year.

And it was the globally anticipated electronic album "Mo"!

Good heavens.

It would be funny if they were fighting to the death, and in the end, the biggest award of the year didn't fall to their two countries, but instead fell to China.

After all, Chen Mo was the one most likely to win.

"Brother Mo, why do I feel that everyone's eyes on you today are not quite right."

When Xu Xiaofeng accompanied Chen Mo into the venue, he always felt that everyone's eyes were strange.

"Is that so? I don't feel it."

Chen Mo didn't feel anything and naturally found his seat and sat down.

Next to him, a girl who looked like a newcomer was looking at Chen Mo nervously.

Adele was hesitating whether to take the initiative to greet Chen Mo.

"Hello Chen Mo, I am your fan, my name is Adele, this is my first time at the Grammys."

After taking a deep breath for a long time, Adele finally took the initiative to speak to Chen Mo.

"Adele?"

Chen Mo was stunned for a moment.

He recognized the girl in front of him.

This was a very famous young singer from the United Kingdom, her music was very famous all over the world, especially the theme song "Skyfall" she sang for "007: Skyfall" later made her famous.

It's just that Adele now is just a newcomer who has only debuted for one year.

If Chen Mo remembered correctly, after this year's Grammy Awards, she would become an overnight sensation.

"I also didn't expect to sit with you today, I thought our first meeting would be on the stage of 'The Voice', I signed up for the show."

Adele smiled at Chen Mo a bit shyly.

Uh...

This was something Chen Mo completely did not expect.

Although Adele is a newcomer who has debuted for less than a year, her music was at least nominated for a Grammy.

Now she says she also signed up for "The Voice"?

Just as Chen Mo was about to say a few words to Adele, the host on stage had already started this year's Grammy Awards.

After some other irrelevant awards were presented, Chen Mo directly won this year's Album of the Year award.

He also won the Record of the Year award.

The expressions of all the European and American singers were quite wonderful.

They thought this year's album award would only fall to the two countries, never expecting it to fall to Chen Mo from China.

"Wow! As expected of the idol I worship, he took the two most important awards as soon as he made a move."

Adele looked at Chen Mo with shining eyes.

Although she herself had just won the Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance awards...
