Chapter 689

"There is no need to do anything tonight. We will issue the police report, the hotel surveillance footage, and the statement regarding that person's withdrawal from 'The Voice' tomorrow at noon."

Chen Mo spoke up.

"But shouldn't the statement be released immediately? If we wait until tomorrow to release it, won't it really be a step too late?"

Xu Xiaofeng was puzzled.

"Rest assured, just do as I have arranged."

Chen Mo smiled.

Since Chen Mo had arranged it this way, Xu Xiaofeng had no choice but to follow his arrangements.

The hotel side was also very cooperative with Chen Mo and his team.

After all, this was considered a major dereliction of duty on the hotel's part.

Long Danni heard the news immediately.

"Hurry and publicize the scandal about 'The Voice' right away, let the whole incident ferment even more!"

She hurriedly instructed her subordinates.

As long as 'The Voice' was exposed for a scandal, the popularity of 'Super Girl' would rise.

This was a rare and excellent opportunity!

That night, Weibo exploded.

Because too many people flooded into Weibo to gossip, it caused the servers to crash.

Weibo's technical staff were stunned.

They hurriedly worked overtime through the night to urgently maintain Weibo's servers.

On one hand, one could see how big this matter had become; on the other hand, it was enough to see Chen Mo's influence.

The paparazzi had hammered it home too hard.

They directly captured photos of the contestant throwing herself into Chen Mo's arms, which made many fans who didn't believe the news start to waver.

By daytime, the support for 'Super Girl' across the entire internet was very large.

In contrast, the news of the scandal coming out of 'The Voice' had a huge impact on the show.

The key was that no one from the entire Mo Mo Company had come out to say a word regarding this matter.

It lasted until noon.

The official production team of 'The Voice' directly threw out three pieces of evidence in a row.

Evidence of Chen Mo calling the police immediately last night.

Evidence of 'The Voice' eliminating the contestant immediately last night.

And evidence of the hotel's surveillance footage and the hotel firing the security guard immediately.

Once the three pieces of evidence were thrown out, the netizens finally understood in an instant.

This was nowhere near Chen Mo sexually harassing a contestant.

It was clearly the contestant who wanted to take the opportunity to seduce Chen Mo and had even brought trouble upon him.

"I just knew Mo Mo wouldn't do such a thing!"

"Always believe in Mo Mo!"

"And don't even think about what kind of female stars usually have scandals with Chen Mo; how could Chen Mo possibly take a fancy to a small contestant?"

"Mo Mo is too miserable; he was blacklisted by the whole internet last night."

"Support Mo Mo, support 'The Voice'!"

The comments on the internet reversed, and Chen Mo's fans also published statements supporting Chen Mo immediately.

The popularity of 'The Voice' rose to a new height once again.

This time it wasn't because of sexual harassment, but because Chen Mo had been truly wronged.

Just when the internet was at its most boisterous, Chen Mo picked up his phone.

"'The Voice' is a dream-chasing stage I created for everyone who has a dream. I know the importance of a dream to a person, and I absolutely respect every person with talent. I promise that the stage of 'The Voice' will be absolutely fair and open, and we will absolutely not engage in sensationalist show effects."

He edited a Weibo post.

Not only did he express his own attitude, but he also implied the sensationalism of 'Super Girl'.

Once this Weibo post came out, even more netizens supported 'The Voice' and Chen Mo!

The popularity of 'The Voice' directly surpassed the popularity of 'Super Girl'.

At the same time, netizens also began to have negative evaluations of 'Super Girl'.

"A perfectly good singing variety show, turned into something like a drama program."

"Can you please put some heart into making the show?"

"The good reputation from before has all been ruined."

"Look at 'The Voice' next door; the stage quality is too high, and every contestant's talent is very strong."

"At the very least, you should respect the audience."

Inside the hotel.

Xu Xiaofeng was scrolling through the netizens' comments, her face smiling quite happily.

"Oh my god, Brother Mo, our popularity has really gone up, completely surpassing the popularity of 'Super Girl'."

She couldn't help but exclaim.

This time, after the show started recording, Mo Mo Company hadn't done large-scale viral promotion yet.

Unexpectedly, just a small opportunity allowed the show to suddenly possess such high popularity.

"Help me let Sister Wang start doing promotion from now on."

Chen Mo spoke up.

The reason there wasn't large-scale viral promotion before was because the full episode hadn't come out yet, and the true show effects and highlights hadn't emerged.

So it wasn't the best time for large-scale promotion.

Now that there was an opportunity, Chen Mo certainly wouldn't miss it.

"Okay! I'll go right away!"

Xu Xiaofeng nodded and called Wang Jinghua quite happily.

Suddenly, the live viewership ratings of 'The Voice' began to rise.

Conversely, the viewership ratings of 'Super Girl' began to fall.

Long Danni was quite anxious in her office.

"If I had known, I would have done nothing last night and observed the situation first."
