Chapter 83

And when the second day's box office came out, everyone was immediately shocked after seeing the data!

The second day's box office reached 7 million US dollars!

It was double the first day's box office!

Upon seeing this box office figure, whether it was Fox, the director, or Chen Mo, everyone became excited!

The company was excited for the money!

Director Chris Columbus and Chen Mo, on the other hand, were excited for the fame.

On the third day, Home Alone's daily box office reached 7.8 million US dollars!

On the fourth day, Home Alone's daily box office broke 10 million directly!

On the fifth day...

Time passed day by day.

Home Alone became a hit in Hollywood, and Chen Mo, as the lead actor, naturally became a hit too!

Now, basically many people know about this child star, Chen Mo!

In his daily life, when Chen Mo goes out with Mother Chen, he is also recognized by many people, who then greet him warmly.

Some women even excitedly run over wanting to hug Chen Mo, and then secretly steal a kiss when Chen Mo isn't paying attention!

Besides that.

Chen Mo also received quite a few audition invitations for movies!

Regarding these invitations, Chen Mo took a rough look and directly had his mother help him decline them.

Because Chen Mo hadn't even heard of most of those movies.

Having already decided to follow a high-quality path, Chen Mo naturally wouldn't take on those obscure films.

Soon, time reached April!

Home Alone, which had been screening for a full month, finally ended its run at the beginning of April.

In the end, Home Alone's total box office reached 290 million US dollars!

And this movie's investment was only 18 million!

It can be said that Fox made a fortune this time!

But this wasn't the end.

Because this 290 million box office was only the box office from screenings in the United States.

And next, Fox began the overseas screening plan immediately.

These overseas countries include China's Xiangjiang, the country with nice days, Poland, Brazil, the UK, and a total of 23 countries!

At the same time...

Over in China's Xiangjiang.

Golden Harvest's production "Shaolin Popey 3" was also about to be released; this movie stars new actors Shi Xiaolong and Hao Shaowen, and although their level of cuteness is far behind Chen Mo's, they can still be considered outstanding.

So, Golden Harvest has great confidence in this movie's box office.

But they didn't expect a piece of news to come over from the China Film Association!

That is, on the day Shaolin Popey 3 is released, an overseas movie titled Home Alone will be released at the same time.

Most importantly, this movie actually stars Chen Mo!

Chen Mo!

That boy who disappeared from the public eye for a year has actually reappeared before everyone's eyes in this way!

Over at Golden Harvest.

At this moment in the conference room, director Zhu Ping and several senior executives of Golden Harvest are sitting by the conference table.

"Didn't expect him to run off to Hollywood without a word, this kid..."

Zhu Ping muttered with some helplessness.

Hearing Zhu Ping's words, several Golden Harvest executives frowned slightly.

"So, are we changing the release schedule or what?"

A Golden Harvest executive said.

"Promotion is already halfway through, change the schedule? How do we change it?"

"Looks like we have no choice but to fight."

"Yeah, there's no other way."

On the other side, inside Mei Yanfang's villa.

At this moment, Mei Yanfang and a group of friends are sitting together chatting.

"Yanfang, this apprentice of yours is incredible!"

Brother Long said with a smile and a sigh.

"Hehe, yeah, the student has surpassed the master."

Mei Yanfang said with a smile.

After hearing this, Brother Long nodded with a smile, feeling very conflicted inside.

He is currently the top martial arts star in all of Southeast Asia; although he is incredibly famous, his career is facing a bottleneck!

Because if he wants to reach the next level, he must enter Hollywood.

But in these decades, besides Li Long and Zun Long, no other Chinese actor has been able to break out.

Didn't expect a six-year-old child to have gone to Hollywood without a word, and his first movie in Hollywood is as the lead!

The most critical thing is that global screenings have already begun!

"By the way, I asked Momo a few days ago, his movie's box office reached 290 million US dollars."

Mei Yanfang said again at this moment.

Her tone carried pride and smugness.

To use later terminology, she was showing off her kid!

After hearing Mei Yanfang's words, Brother Long touched his big nose in some embarrassment.

He is known as the big boss of the Xiangjiang film industry, and so far his highest-grossing film is only over 30 million Hong Kong dollars...

And Chen Mo's is 290 million US dollars!

How much is that converted into Hong Kong dollars?

Can't think about it; the more he thinks, the more ashamed and envious he feels.

"When you get a chance, ask the little guy when he's coming to Xiangjiang; I'll find some time to meet him and get to know him."

Brother Long said.

Mei Yanfang nodded with a smile and said: "Sure, I'll contact him in a while and see."

Soon, a week passed.

Home Alone began to be released one after another in other overseas countries.

Over in Xiangjiang.

In major cinemas, Home Alone and Shaolin Popey 3 were released at the same time.

"Trouble, give me two tickets for Home Alone."

"I want one ticket for Shaolin Popey!"

"2 tickets for Home Alone, thanks."

"Two tickets for Shaolin Popey."

The audience lined up one after another to buy tickets.

After buying the tickets, they began to have them checked to enter the hall.

An hour and a half later...

The audience watching Shaolin Popey and those watching Home Alone came out of the screening halls at the same time.

Every single audience member on the Home Alone side had a smile on their face.

"Haha, that cracked me up, those two stupid thieves."

"This time little Momo is the absolute lead, and he's even cuter than a year ago!"

"Yeah, really want to hold him in my arms and squeeze him hard!"

"Hehe, the plot inside cracked me up."
