Chapter 99

Over in Xiangjiang.

Chen Mo's first film was shot in Xiangjiang, so the audience in Xiangjiang all felt that Chen Mo was a child who went out from Xiangjiang!

Upon learning that Chen Mo won the award, they reported on him extensively!

The reports were almost all praise! One could even say it was flattery!

They simply praised him to the heavens!

Sakura Country...

Okinawa Prefecture.

A little girl wearing a small yellow hat, with her hair tied in two small pigtails, about the same age as Chen Mo, was holding a newspaper and looking at the little boy in the paper holding the trophy!

"Chen Mo Onii-chan, so amazing! So amazing!"

The little girl opened her mouth wide, her eyes shining as she muttered to herself.

"Little Yui! Time to eat!"

At this moment, her mother's voice came from not far away.

Hearing the voice, the little girl named Niinuma Yui hurriedly stuffed the newspaper into her small backpack, then shouted loudly: "Coming! Coming!"

Over in Los Angeles.

Chen Fu found an employee at his company who knew computers and brought him home to teach Chen Mo about the computer.

As a reborn person, and having previously obtained primary black-tech skills from the lottery, Chen Mo naturally didn't need to be taught.

But he had to put on a show of it.

So at first, Chen Mo pretended to be confused and began to learn how to use the computer.

Then, in less than two days, he was able to proficiently master the basic operations of the computer.

This learning speed surprised the person teaching Chen Mo very much.

Afterward, the person teaching Chen Mo left, and Chen Mo began surfing the internet at will on the computer.

The internet in '93 was very poor...

There wasn't even a proper browser.

After playing for a while, Chen Mo lost interest in the computer.

However, at this moment, Chen Fu walked over.

"Son, let me show you the 'Library' your old man made."

Chen Fu said, and began to clumsily type on the keyboard.

Soon, a search engine similar to later browsers appeared on the computer screen.

"This is the Library. If you want to search for something, just click on the options above, and then you can find the information you need based on the options."

Chen Fu pointed at the screen and said proudly.

Chen Mo listened to Chen Fu's words, his gaze carefully scanning the screen for a while.

The search engine Chen Fu made was very complicated; there was no search box like in later times, and the page was rows of options.

For example, language, mathematics, etc.

And then after clicking these options, dozens more options would appear...

In short, it was very troublesome.

"Dad, isn't clicking like this very troublesome? Why can't we just let it help us find it directly?"

Chen Mo looked at Chen Fu and asked.

Chen Fu was stunned for a moment.

"Help us find it ourselves? What do you mean?"

"It's just..."

Then, Chen Mo described the general outline of later search engines in a child's tone.

And as Chen Fu listened to Chen Mo's description, his expression changed from initial confusion to bewilderment, and finally to excitement!
