Chapter 154: The Oscars Opener!

This was a dating spot that belonged exclusively to Xu Can and Emma Stone,

but now it was packed with crew members—cameramen, makeup and styling, lighting, set hands…

A crowd gathered on the slope, none of them starting work yet,

some gazing out at the distant Los Santos, some chatting in pairs and small groups, some tucked in corners playing on their phones.

Xu Can and Emma Stone sat side by side on a bench, each lost in their own silence.

The assistant director, Damien Chazelle, couldn't help but come over to Xu Can's side.
