He hadn't died after all—he was the Vanguard Commander of that man's invasion of Earth!

Loki held the Mind Stone scepter, radiating supreme authority.

The S. H. I. E. L. D. agents' guns posed no threat to him!

He was a god of Asgard!

In the original *Avengers*, Loki chose to brawl with ordinary agents.

As the Nine Realms' foremost mage, he wasn't lacking power—he simply had limited movie funding, so he chose the cheapest combat method possible.

A god fighting mortals with fists and feet was somewhat undignified.

Xu Can's budget was unlimited, and his own studio had compressed costs to the bare minimum.

He could deliver a visual spectacle right at the film's opening!

"Submit to me, or else…"

Overwhelmed by Loki's overwhelming presence, an agent fired instinctively,

But Loki sneered, raised one hand slightly—and every bullet in the air froze mid-flight, as if striking an invisible barrier.

The scene resembled Neo in *The Matrix* or Phoenix Grey in *X-Men 3*,

Stopping bullets was child's play.

"Holy…"

Hawkeye, sensing danger, tackled Nick Fury to the ground.

Hawkeye instinctively drew his bow and shot an arrow at Loki—but Loki vanished like a phantom.

The next instant, with Loki's ghostly smile, the Mind Stone scepter pressed against Hawkeye's back, controlling him.

Mother of God saw the danger, hurled a flashbang to create chaos, then rolled to the Space Stone's location, seized it, and fled swiftly.

"I am Loki of Asgard. Hand over the Stone—I need it."

The Dark God Loki remained utterly calm.

"We have nothing to do with your Asgard."

"Boots and ants have nothing to do with each other either." Loki didn't move—but Hawkeye shot and felled Nick Fury.

"Oh my god!"

The audience gasped for the first time.

The S. H. I. E. L. D. director was dead before the film was even ten minutes in?

Loki, as the villain, had already made the audience feel suffocated.

In Xu Can's new version of *Avengers*, he employed entirely new cinematic language to maximize Loki's aura.

In the future, when people think of this opening scene, their first thought won't be the Joker—but the true Dark God!

Fortunately, Nick Fury was wearing a bulletproof vest.

Agent Hill arrived to rescue the director, but after a tense, thrilling chase, S. H. I. E. L. D. lost them.

Especially when Loki sat in the car, grinned wickedly at the pursuing vehicle, and casually waved his hand—sending a multi-ton pickup truck flying sideways.

It was understandable that S. H. I. E. L. D. couldn't catch him.

On the helicopter, Nick Fury stared down at the devastation, his one eye burning with intensity.

"Agent Hill, Agent Coulson—return to base, activate Level 7 alert… War has begun."

"Director, what do we do?" Coulson was at a loss—how the hell were they supposed to fight?
