Chapter 398: Spider-Man 3 Trailer! Sinister Six and Spider-Gwen!

"At 8 PM tonight, same place, the trailer for Spider-Man 3 goes live."

Xu Can's single-face teaser nearly exploded the GalaxyTV+ servers.

Fortunately, Xu Can was willing to spend big, investing nearly all his billions earned.

GalaxyTV+'s own streaming platform operated a data center built in-house, ranking among the world's top tier in scale.

Eight parallel servers crashing on Weibo were mere juniors compared to Xu Can's.

Thus, at 8 PM that evening, over a hundred million users worldwide simultaneously opened GalaxyTV+ to watch the Spider-Man 3: Sinister Six trailer,

and the play button responded with flawless smoothness, not a single stutter.

Since 2009's Source Code, Xu Can had gradually begun premiering trailers exclusively on his own platform.

Only a day later would they gradually appear on YouTube and Facebook.

As a result, GalaxyTV+ added many new paying users annually, bringing its global paying subscriber count to 180 million!

It was drawing closer to Netflix's 240 million in 2023 from his past life.

Xu Can believed that with its price advantage, zero-barrier registration, and genuinely compelling content,

by early 2010, more and more people's first act upon turning on their computer or TV was to log into GalaxyTV+ to check if their favorite shows had updated or if any new series or videos had launched.

Of course, on January 1st, everyone was busy watching the premiere trailer of Spider-Man 3: Sinister Six!

"My name is Peter Parker. Perhaps you already know my story."

At the start of the trailer, Xu Can as Spider-Man sat casually on the edge of the Empire State Building's rooftop, sipping coffee, gazing at the panoramic view of New York City.

"For years, I've been the one and only Spider-Man."

"With great power comes great responsibility."

"I saved some people, defeated the Green Goblin—but then came a smaller one… oh, my poor, poor friend Harry."

"I saved this city too…"

The scene of Spider-Man stopping a train with his bare flesh reappeared.

"Defeated Doctor Octopus… I urge everyone: before experimenting with unknown technology, don't use yourself as the test subject."

"I fell in love too… but unfortunately…"

Peter Parker's tone grew somber; the visuals cut rapidly,

showing Uncle Ben's funeral, Officer George Stacy's funeral, Gwen Stacy's funeral… Peter Parker in a black suit remained unchanged across all three funerals at different times.

"I've saved this city countless times, yet I couldn't save her."

"After all this, I questioned whether I was even a worthy Spider-Man."

"Perhaps Gwen in heaven hopes I'll pick myself up again… because New York City is far from peaceful."

"Every morning I wake up knowing: the more people I save, the more enemies I make!"

A massive Sandman rampaged between buildings, sand and dust swirling everywhere!

A winged Vulture circled above New York, spreading chaos!

Inside New York's power grid, Electro leapt and flashed with blue arcs!

At Times Square, the mysterious Mister Negative, wearing a glass globe on his head, performed a grand deception!

In a heavily guarded federal lab, Doctor Octopus's mechanical arm was stolen, guards dead and wounded!

Inside a federal prison, young Green Goblin Harry Osborn stepped out of the shadows with a wicked grin!

"See? Things are serious… I can't handle this alone."

At that moment, Emma Stone's voice suddenly appeared.

"No, you're not alone—and you're not the only Spider-Man."

"You are…"

Peter Parker instantly snapped his head around, turning to look behind him on the Empire State Building rooftop!

On the rooftop, a woman clad in a pink-and-white spider suit slowly materialized!

Gwen Stacy!

"Gwen?! How is this possible?"

"Hi, Peter… I need to return to my universe."

Boom!

A thunderous explosion echoed from afar.

"Manhattan's falling apart—New York City is about to be destroyed."

Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen fought the Sinister Six with fluid, dazzling movements!
