Chapter 410

~5 min read 887 words

But turning his head, the black slime monster attacked the convenience store nearby again, unpredictable in mood.

"It's just like a blob of Venom."

Gwen muttered casually.

"OK, this Venom might be the only ally in New York City capable of dealing with enemies. Whether to seek him out is up to you."

"Remember, even if you cannot defeat the opponent, you must hold out for 24 hours; by then, Avengers members will arrive to reinforce you."

"Mr. Parker, be careful..."

Nick Fury had not finished speaking when

Boom!

a bank building not far away suddenly suffered a violent tremor!

The three looked up to see a giant Sandman monster wreaking havoc, with fierce winds blowing and sand filling the air!

Standing a full 20 stories tall, nearly 60 meters, the giant Sandman was right before their eyes!

It was simply more shocking than observing Godzilla up close!

"Opps... so dangerous; I'll leave this to you."

Nick Fury quickly slipped away, his escape speed comparable to a Hong Kong Island reporter.

"Wait!"

Peter Parker was dumbfounded as Nick Fury made a clean getaway, leaving him with such a huge trouble.

"Don't count on him; beg me, and I can help you fight."

Spider-Gwen crossed her arms and joked from the side.

But Peter Parker did not beg her; instead, he resolutely charged toward the scene:

"I believe you wouldn't stand by and watch someone die, right?"

Peter swung away on his web, while Spider-Gwen stamped her feet on the spot.

"This universe's Peter is really... not cute at all."

Though complaining with her mouth, Spider-Gwen fell for it completely and decisively followed after him.

The fierce battle between Spider-Man and Sandman was even more thrilling!

Fortunately, Sandman moved slowly, allowing Spider-Man to swing back and forth on his body, searching for weaknesses.

"Hey, big guy, let's talk this out properly; can you stop destroying things?"

"You like sand; how about we go play on the beach? There's nothing fun here."

While Peter Parker was still attacking with words, Sandman's giant fist was already striking!

Spider-Gwen arrived in time, tackling Peter to the ground beside her.

The two lay on the ground mere inches apart; even through their masks, they could feel each other's breathing.

Though wearing the face of a former lover, they could not be intimate,

which was a very painful thing for Peter.

Yet he could only face it with a smile.

"Hey, you're much heavier than my Gwen; your muscles are quite solid; get up quickly."

"Hmph! So talkative; I should have let you get smashed against the wall."

Gwen scolded him, pulling Peter to his feet, and the two continued to throw themselves into the battle.

The two Spider-Men narrowly avoided Sandman's arm attacks, swinging everywhere amidst the thick yellow sand that reduced visibility.

"Brother, don't be angry; you should try yoga..."

Before he could finish, Peter was grabbed by Sandman and thrown into a nearby building.

Inside the office building, looking through the broken window at Sandman's giant head, the sense of oppression was absolutely maxed out!

The IMAX giant screen made the audience in the scene feel as if they were watching Sandman up close!

Timid girls kept burrowing into their boyfriends' arms.

On the other side, Gwen helplessly shook her head and muttered: "Talking during a fight is not a good habit; look, you made him angry."

At the same time, Gwen was also bitterly pondering a method to defeat Sandman; seeing the water tanks on the rooftop, she suddenly had an idea.

"Hey, Peter! Try jumping onto his nose!"

"What? Do you want me to clear his nostrils?" Peter quipped casually.

"Trust me!"

"Alright!" Peter agreed to her plan and muttered quietly: "Who else but you, Gwen."

"O..."

The audience in the scene was inexplicably a bit sweetened.

Peter was seen twisting and turning, leaping onto Sandman's nose.

"Brother, we don't need to fight. State your demands first; I'll find a way to help you."

"Someone paid me to take your dog's life!"

"What?"

Boom, Sandman punched his own nose, but Peter dodged quickly.

The immense force caused Sandman to crash heavily against the skyscraper, smashing the surface glass.

Just then, Gwen fired her web, snapping the supports of the giant water tank on the top floor.

Several water tanks in succession toppled over; a huge amount of water rushed straight down, causing Sandman's height to shrink rapidly, gradually turning into a puddle of mud.

Just as the two Spider-Men were about to lock onto Sandman's true form, a familiar voice sounded again.

"Ee-hee-hahaha—"

The little Green Goblin, riding a skateboard, flew in from the other side of the skyscraper, going straight for Gwen!

Gwen had just dodged when the Vulture from the other side launched a surprise attack! He grabbed Gwen in one swoop! And used electric shackles to restrict Gwen's movements!

"Little bug, come on then."

"Damn it! Gwen!"

Peter recalled the scene from before — it was also the little Green Goblin who had grabbed Gwen.

"This time, I absolutely won't let anything happen to you!"

Spider-Man swung away, leaving only Sandman lying awkwardly on the ground in his original spot.

So it turned out, he was just a character being used!

Damn it!

With Gwen's capture, the film is about to reach its final chapter!
