Chapter 498: Winning the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, Riding High on Glory!

People who resort to underhanded tricks are still numerous.

As soon as they stepped into the hall, the crew members looked genuinely surprised.

"Not bad—they actually upgraded the entire exhibition hall! Is it because our crew came here?"

"How could that be? Don't flatter yourselves too much. If it weren't for Director Xu Can, how could we possibly benefit from such glory? Soon, all the spotlight will be on us—everyone must hold up the scene and not let our director down!"

"Absolutely! With our outfits, we'll crush every other crew. This is the look our director hired a professional makeup team to create for each of us—it's better than the costumes our company prepared!"

Xu Can cleared his throat lightly, and everyone instantly fell silent.

The more they talk, the more mistakes they make; they must not be allowed to reveal anything further.

Staff members ran over quickly.

Along the entire path, people were there to greet them.

"This way, please—every seat has a name. If you need anything, just a glance and we'll come right over!"

Xu Can nodded slightly; he had few demands.

When the host officially opened the ceremony, the live footage kept switching to Xu Can and his crew.

Xu Can had warned them beforehand: no one should show off too much on screen, or they'd give others grounds to envy them!

Better to avoid trouble than invite it; the fewer enemies they made, the more likely future collaborations might arise.

"Let's congratulate X-Men: First Class for winning Best Makeup and Best Science Fiction Film!"

"I see our film has won the most awards so far—it also won Most Popular Superhero, Best Dianyingfan Role, and Best Director!"

"Let's invite all the actors and directors associated with these awards to come up and collect their prizes!"
