Chapter 78

……

Setting aside Marvel for now, Xu Can had another plan in mind.

Happy had already helped register a record company, named "Galaxy Music."

Galaxy Music and Galaxy Pictures would both fall under Galaxy Entertainment.

Xu Can would serve as Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment, and Happy was bumped up half a level to serve as CEO of Galaxy Pictures,

He had also poached gold-medal CEO Doug Mo Lisi from Sony Music to serve as CEO of Galaxy Music, overseeing the music division.

This old gentleman was 68 years old this year and had previously served as an executive at Atlantic Records and Universal Records.

He was the behind-the-scenes hero behind the album success of divas like Adele and Beyoncé, with rich industry experience and connections.

Originally he had almost been poached by Sony Music, but last time at the Suoninian Society, Xu Can and the old gentleman had chatted for a long time and hit it off quite well.

Compared to a big label like Sony, Xu Can's place seemed full of challenges.

So Doug Mo Lisi quietly joined Galaxy Music, and the first thing he did upon arriving was to recruit talent and build a new album for the company's first signed singer!

Yes, instead of going to film a movie, Xu Can was taking time off from his proper work to run a record company,

And the singer he signed was none other than Taylor Swift!

Even if he couldn't have her personally for now, Xu Can would have her professionally!

"Really? You really created a record company for me?"

TayTay on the other end of the phone still couldn't believe it. On what basis?

On what basis would Xu Can do all this for her?

"Of course. Not only did I create the company, I even poached a big shot to help you craft your new album. So, have you ditched your stingy boss yet? When are you coming to Los Santos?"

"Right now!!!"

Even through the receiver, Xu Can could feel TayTay's wild joy.

She finally didn't have to be pushed around by her vampire boss!

Because she had a better home to go to!
