Chapter 131

"Good, then I'll contact the Golden Horse Awards immediately. By the way, I'll boost your popularity."

"No problem."

Qin Yu didn't mind; this popularity should be his.

Not everyone has the courage to refuse such a temptation as the Golden Horse Awards.

……

On the other side, several senior judges of the Golden Horse Awards were also discussing.

"Don't worry, Qin Yu will definitely come. By then, using his popularity, we can slowly eliminate last year's incident."

"But Old Zhou, isn't this being too easy on that guy Qin Yu?"

A judge was somewhat dissatisfied; this is Best Director, and he's just a young upstart.

Hearing this, others also nodded.

If it were any other time,

the Golden Horse Awards would never give Qin Yu a major award.

At most, they'd give him Best Newcomer; after all, in the entertainment industry, you have to look at quality, but also seniority.

Just because a movie is filmed well doesn't mean you can win a major award.

"Old Ma is right, Old Zhou, let's just trick Qin Yu into coming first, then give him any award; at worst, give Best Actress to Miss Ni Ni."

"That's right, Old Zhou~"

"……"

Old Zhou was also a bit hesitant, and only spoke after a while.

"Fine, we'll discuss it then~ Everyone go back first."

Hearing this, smiles appeared on their faces. Discuss it later?

There will be plenty of ways by then.

And they don't need to fear Qin Yu; after all, you're just a young kid, we can play you if we want.

What can you do?

Don't tell me you dare to speak out.

"Let's go, find a place to have a drink tonight?"

"Sounds good?"

Several people left happily together.

……

But what everyone didn't expect was that the very next day, Qin Yu directly posted a message on Weibo.

Due to filming reasons, he would not be able to attend the Golden Horse Awards the day after tomorrow.

Blah blah blah, a whole bunch of stuff, but it all meant one thing: I'm not going.

Once the Weibo post was out, it instantly caused a sensation.

Netizens were stunned; Qin Yu's movie was nominated for several major Golden Horse Awards this time.

If he went, he might even win Best Director.

Who would have thought he would actually refuse.

Damn it.

In less than two hours, Qin Yu's Weibo post hit the headlines.

【Qin Yu refuses Golden Horse Awards invitation!】

"Damn, is Qin Yu stupid? He won't go even to win an award?"

"Yeah, is this guy sick?"

"……"

"The guy above, you don't know anything. Don't you know about the big incident at the Golden Horse Awards last year?"

"That's right, those Taiwanese people are really excessive; they didn't give a single award to the mainland; their behavior was really ugly."

"Yeah, if someone hadn't mediated last year, I would have cursed those guys to death."

"……"

"Qin Yu, just for this, I'll support your next movie."

"That's right, me too; you really have guts."

"……"

After knowing the cause and effect, netizens praised Qin Yu one after another.

When everyone was watching from the sidelines, Qin Yu, who should have been the biggest winner of this Golden Horse Awards,

actually stood up and said he wasn't going.

This is not something an ordinary person can do.

If Qin Yu went, no one would say anything about him.

The buzz on Weibo surged, and netizens were overjoyed.

On the other side.

The entertainment industry also exploded.

Actually, everyone was watching, and many mainland actors and directors also received invitations from the Golden Horse Awards.

But no one decided immediately whether to go or not.

After all, they also knew about last year's incident.

Going this time might bring quite a few benefits.

But no one dared to be the first to start, so they waited and saw.

Wait for a leader to go, and then we'll go.

Originally, they had already pinned the role of leader on Qin Yu.

As long as Qin Yu goes, then it's no problem for us to go.

We're following Qin Dao; if the genius director goes, why can't we?

But who would have thought that Qin Yu would directly refuse.

Now many people are a bit scared.

Should we still go?

Qin Dao isn't going even with several major award nominations, so isn't it not very good for us to go?

Don't say it, the plan those guys at the Golden Horse Awards made was actually quite good.

If Qin Yu went, then basically everyone in the circle would follow.

This is the leading role.

It's just a pity, they underestimated Qin Yu.

He just didn't go.

All plans were ruined.

"Are we still going, Sister Yuan?" the assistant asked.

"Sigh, forget it, we're not going. If Qin Dao isn't going, why should we go? To get cursed at?"

"Tell the organizers I'm not feeling well."

……

"Xiaoming, what should we do?" Huang Xiaoming's agent asked.

This time, Huang Xiaoming was also nominated for Best Actor at the Golden Horse Awards.

"Forget it, I'm not going. This guy Qin Yu really has guts," Huang Xiaoming said with some regret.

"I was originally thinking about whether I could win Best Actor."

……

"Sister Hua, what should we do with the artists under us?" the assistant on the side looked at Wang Jinhua.

Wang Jinhua smiled and put her phone aside.

She looked at the assistant.

"Tell everyone under us to decline. The genius director has stated his attitude, so let's give him some face."

"Don't go to Taiwan; go to the Golden Rooster Awards to have some fun."

"Okay!" ===== CHAPTER 132 =====
