Chapter 198

It didn't look like a paid army that only knew how to blow smoke, it could be seen through at a glance.

"Is it really that good? Should I go watch it?"

Many American netizens muttered.

Cindy was incredibly happy to see so many people joining in.

She quickly called on everyone to recommend this movie together.

Everyone agreed; sharing joy can double one's own happiness.

Soon, a Chinese movie on Rotten Tomatoes actually slowly gained popularity.

And on the other side.

The staff at Lionsgate Films had also organized the audience questionnaires collected over the past two days.

There were a total of 2,000 copies.

"BOSS, the questionnaire survey is out." The manager next to him was full of excitement.

"Say it."

Brown closed his eyes, appearing calm, but in fact, he was a bit unsure inside.

There are really very few Chinese movies that are popular in the United States.

Mainly because Americans have face blindness towards East Asia.

They feel they all look about the same.

"BOSS, you absolutely cannot imagine, the movie's response is very good."

"Continue."

"There are 2,000 questionnaires in total, of which over 90% are A or A+ ratings."

"Even S ratings account for 40%!"

"..."

Hearing this, Brown's eyes opened instantly.

His gaze was like a torch.

"You're not kidding, right? Even ordinary Hollywood blockbusters don't have such good ratings."

"BOSS, I'm really not, every questionnaire is guaranteed to be authentic, there are even names on them."

"Let me see!"

Brown quickly snatched the data sheet and the questionnaires.

He started reading them one by one.

A few minutes later, he let out a loud laugh.

The data was correct.

There were almost no bad reviews, the worst ones just felt that the movie was a bit hard to understand.

And face blindness, unable to distinguish people.

Seeing Brown happy, the manager continued.

"BOSS, there's more good news, some netizens who have watched it are already recommending this movie on the forum."

"The heat is not low, it's all spontaneous, and now the views have reached 100,000!"

"..."

"Sh*t, I knew Qin could bring me surprises."

Brown was very excited, he didn't expect that the audience would spontaneously promote it.

It seems that Now You See Me is really well-liked by everyone.

"Zack, hurry up and take action, expand the scale tomorrow, the number of screens for the release cannot be less than 1,000!"

"If the theater chains are unwilling, show them the survey report."

"Also, immediately ask the finance department to allocate 3 million US dollars, I want the whole United States to see the advertisement for Now You See Me tomorrow."

"..."

"Hiss! Boss, isn't this too risky?" Zack was a bit nervous.

3 million US dollars, that's not a small amount.

If it really expands to the whole United States, it will be spent very quickly.

And then he'll have to pay more.

"This movie is worth us taking a gamble."

"Alright then, I'll go handle it immediately!"

After the manager left, Brown let out a long sigh of relief, and then his whole person couldn't help but become excited.

If everything goes smoothly, he's going to make a fortune.

As long as there are no problems in the United States, it will be released globally immediately.

By then...

"Qin, you really are a person who can create miracles."

The next day.

The 3 million in promotion fees were still very useful; the Americans were idle and had nothing to do when they suddenly saw a magic movie.

They were a bit curious.

"Peter, how about we go watch this movie?"

"Forget it, Chinese movies aren't worth watching."

"You don't understand, I read the forum yesterday, the ratings are very good."

"Alright then, anyway, there are no blockbusters released recently."

"Okay~"

Two hours later, Peter and his brother came out together.

Listening to the excited discussions of the people around them, they couldn't hold back anymore either.

"Sh*t, Peter, this movie is amazing, I really didn't expect it to be so powerful, it's too..."

"I don't know how to describe it, anyway, this doesn't look like a Chinese movie."

"That's right, I feel the same, especially the last scene, it turns out the knight is that police officer."

"Yes, yes, yes!"

"Let's go, let's go, let's hurry up and tell Chris, isn't that kid studying magic recently?"

"Okay~"

The audience who finished watching were about the same as the two of them, all feeling that they had discovered a treasure, and quickly recommended it to the people around them.

Actually, it can be considered novel, after all, a Chinese movie can be shot so well.

It is truly unexpected.

Just like a whirlwind, Now You See Me actually became popular in the United States.

Many young people were discussing it.

On the other side, Qin Yu was not in a hurry at all.

He didn't even take it to heart.

"Boss, how come the box office is less than 500,000 after three days of release? It's so low."

"..."

Bai Lu secretly climbed over the wall to look at the data, her little face wrinkled up.

Seeing Qin Yu's movie flop overseas was more uncomfortable than losing her own money.

How is this possible? Why is it so low after three days of release?

Qin Yu, who was sitting in a chair thinking about what to shoot for the next movie, almost laughed out loud when he saw Bai Lu's expression.

This girl has been climbing over the wall to check every few hours since the movie was released in the United States.

She even watches it while eating.

She's not even afraid of the police uncle coming to catch her.

"Relax, relax, let the bullets fly for a while."

"Boss~" Bai Lu was anxious, why wasn't her boss anxious at all?

This is simple, Qin Yu had already communicated with Brown yesterday.
