Chapter 396

"……"

Qin Yu naturally wouldn't agree. Are you kidding? After waiting so long, it only went up by two points.

Keep dreaming.

If it weren't for the fact that he didn't have overseas channels, he wouldn't cooperate with Warner Bros.

He can guarantee that even with this condition, Warner Bros. can still earn a lot.

More than he earns.

The two pulled back and forth for a long time.

In the end, Josen had no choice. Fox already had people preparing to come to China.

Now Fox's CEO Wendi Deng is Chinese-American and has deep connections in China.

He didn't want to be intercepted.

"Qin, I can agree to your conditions, but I need a gambling agreement. The overseas box office of *The Matrix* needs to reach 250 million."

"Otherwise, we will only pay the conditions I just mentioned."

"Fine." Qin Yu nodded in agreement.

But Qin Yu wasn't stupid either, and proposed his own conditions.

"But if the box office reaches 250 million US dollars, I require the share to increase by two points, and the copyright income to also increase by two points."

Josen also had a toothache. The Qin Yu in front of him really didn't give an inch, although he had excellent negotiation skills.

Even better than many professional negotiators.

But it's a pity that these are useless.

Because the initiative isn't in his hands, and the choice is the same.

After hesitating for a while, Josen nodded and said,

"I basically agree to this condition, but it still needs the approval of Warner Bros. headquarters."

"Fine." Qin Yu nodded.

"But I hope you can be faster. Recently, Fox and Brown have contacted me many times."

Josen: "... I know."

"I can get the result by tomorrow night at the latest."

The two shook hands, and then Josen left with his assistant.

Qin Yu looked at the backs of the two, the corners of his mouth slightly raised.

He can guarantee that Warner Bros. will definitely agree. This condition isn't harsh. As for the 250 million US dollar gambling agreement,

it's not difficult either.

In his previous life, *The Matrix* swept more than 400 million US dollars in box office worldwide even when it was released in 2000.

China didn't contribute anything.

Now that more than ten years have passed, even if those big noses are face-blind, 250 million is no problem.

"Yeah! Qin Yu, you are going to get rich. Do I have a share?"

Liu Yifei, who was next to him, although she hadn't made a sound, had watched the whole process.

If *The Matrix*'s global box office can really reach 250 million, even if it just reached it,

then just the box office share would be more than 40 million US dollars.

Converted into RMB, that's 300 million!

Qin Yun Culture invested half, and it's 150 million!

Liu Yifei suddenly felt that she was so poor.

Really so poor.

"You want it?"

Liu Yifei hurriedly nodded.

"Then wait for me in the room tonight. 100,000 each time!"

"……"

"Go to your sister, only 100,000? I'm not that cheap."

Qin Yu looked at the shy and angry Liu Yifei, in a great mood, and directly held her in his arms and gnawed on her.

Liu Yifei kept hitting Qin Yu.

But slowly, she softened.

No way, she was used to it.

After a while, the two separated. Liu Yifei's eyes were full of water mist, but she actually reached out to Qin Yu.

"Give me 100,000. You kissed me for a long time."

"……"

"Give a fart, keep dreaming. I didn't..."

"Shameless!"

"……"

Time passed quickly. In the blink of an eye, *The Matrix* had been released for 20 days.

The single-day box office was still 30 million.

It's hard to imagine this number for a movie that has been released for nearly 20 days.

It was even July 15th, which was the 13th day of release.

*The Matrix* successfully broke the 1 billion mark. CCTV spent half a minute introducing it.

Many audience members went to the cinema to watch it again after seeing it.

Although it was very sensational, it was just the foreplay.

Today is the real main event.

*The Matrix*, with the efforts of Qin Yun Culture, Enlight Pictures, and Huaying, had reached a box office of 1.376 billion in 20 days.

It was less than 25 million away from the Chinese box office record of 1.398 billion set by James Cameron in 2008.

It is very likely to break Cameron's record today.

Qin Yun Culture, Zhou Pangzi, and Wang Zhangdian spent a lot of money to constantly call on everyone online to support *The Matrix*.

Let the new record be born today.

This method is indeed old-fashioned, but the audience pays for it.

Who doesn't hope that the Chinese box office record is created by their own people? And Qin Yu's popularity is very good.

There were many people supporting *The Matrix* today.

Even many people ran to watch it twice in a row.

Not long after Qin Yu arrived at the hotel, Wang Zhangdian, Yu Dong, Zhao Ting, and even Zhou Pangzi and Zhang Ming came.

"Whoa, so solemn." Qin Yu looked at them, a bit surprised.

"That's for sure." Wang Zhangdian smiled very happily. ===== CHAPTER 397 =====
