Chapter 423

Just now you were even discussing with the fans who to choose.

And now you tell me it's a lie?

Jason could guarantee that 99% of the fans just now took it seriously.

But this guy.

"But Qin, now everyone knows. If you go back on your word…"

"Don't worry so much. I don't know when the next one will be released. By then, people will have long forgotten."

"If they really remember, at worst I'll just give them a big extra role; there are plenty of excuses."

Qin Yu didn't care; he came to Hollywood to make money.

He didn't ask to make money standing up; making money sitting down was fine too.

Making money on his knees, forget it.

People who like his movies won't care about so many details.

If they are intentionally causing trouble, then don't blame him for being impolite.

By then, he would rather give up some benefits than let them have a good time.

"By the way, you reminded me. Later, go to Twitter and hold some kind of vote, let the fans participate."

"We can also make a fortune."

Jason stopped talking. Originally, he already felt he was shameless.

A piece of American elite scum.

But compared to Qin Yu.

He was still too far off.

This guy was even more like an American elite scum than him.

Not only did he want to deceive everyone, but he also wanted to hold a vote to harvest the box office.

It was simply taking shamelessness to the extreme.

Suddenly, he remembered the agreement between Qin Yu and Steve before; perhaps that old guy would lose very miserably.

Although Qin Yu was in Hollywood for the first time, his personality was like a fish in water in Hollywood.

Good people can't survive in Hollywood.

The more shameless, the better they do.

"I know, don't worry, it will definitely be done well."

"……"

"Do we still need a roadshow tonight?"

"Roadshow my ass. It's good enough that I didn't ask you guys at Warner for more promotional fees."

Qin Yu glared at Jason.

"Alright, I'm leaving, bye."

After finishing, Jason took his people and ran; he was really afraid Qin Yu would ask him for money.

……

On the other side.

By night.

Warner really did hold a vote on Twitter and spent quite a bit of money to hype up the popularity.

Many viewers who had seen it also started putting up their favorite actresses.

The one with the most votes wasn't a surprise.

It was Scarlett, nicknamed Black Widow.

Didn't Qin Yu want sexy and beautiful?

Scarlett couldn't be more suitable.

Behind her were many others: Anne Hathaway, the actress who played little Hermione, Watson, Scarlet Witch Olsen, South African diamond Theron, Black Pearl Halle Berry…

There were really quite a few people.

The fans even started arguing over this matter.

Everyone hoped to see their favorite female star in the movie they liked; people who don't chase stars can't understand this.

But for those who chase stars, that is a truly big deal.

The popularity even rushed into the top three at one point.

Afterward, many of the voted actresses also participated; they didn't know if this genius director from China was joking.

Or serious.

But well, it didn't matter.

Just chasing popularity.

They understood too.

Hurry and post on Twitter.

Scarlett: I also like The Matrix very much. Qin is a very talented director; I hope to cooperate with him one day.

Anne Hathaway: Is there me? Actually, I haven't tried a sci-fi movie yet. If I can cooperate with Qin, I think I would be very happy.

Little Hermione: I like the visuals of The Matrix, very cool. If there is a chance, I am very willing to cooperate with Qin.

……

……

Many Hollywood actresses participated, and even Qin Yu and Warner didn't expect it to be so popular.

It drove the box office that day up by thirty percent.

The single-day box office reached 16 million!!!

Surpassing Disney's Despicable Me to become the single-day box office champion.

Maintaining this popularity for two or three days wasn't a problem.

At least earning an extra twenty or thirty million in box office.

An unexpected surprise.

……

The next day.

Jeff threw today's Hollywood Times on the table, with a big headline written on it.

【The Matrix staged a black storm in the US, topping the single-day box office champion.】

Sitting in the chair, looking at Steve and Jason below.

He thought for a moment and asked.

"Jason, is Qin serious? Planning to co-produce The Matrix 2 with Hollywood?"

Jason, sitting on the side, twitched his mouth, not knowing how to explain.

He hesitated for a moment and said,

"BOSS, Qin seems to be lying. He doesn't intend to introduce Hollywood actresses at all."

"Just for promotion."

Hearing this, Steve on the side widened his eyes.

He watched the live stream from start to finish. In the live stream, Qin Yu vividly described the character as perfect.

Sexy, beautiful, also a master, and very skilled.

Even saying there was an emotional entanglement with the protagonist.

Described it in great detail.

He didn't expect this guy was lying.

Bastard, aren't you deceiving the feelings of honest people?

Now that it's blown up so big, how will it end?

Jeff, sitting in the chair, also had a dark face; he actually took it seriously too.

"Is he not afraid the fans will kill him?"

"Qin said filming will take at least a year and a half to two years before release. I'm afraid the fans will have forgotten by then."

"Doesn't matter."
