Chapter 441

"..."

The middle-aged man was also bitter; actually, Weizhou Island is quite good, whether it's the scenery or other things, it's the same compared to those tourist islands in the country.

The only bad thing is that it has no fame.

Development here in Guangxi has been several steps slower, far worse than the neighbor.

Now that a big director has finally taken a fancy to it, if they can seize this, it's not impossible to become a tourist holy land in one fell swoop.

Qin Yu's fame, although he is just a small village chief, was also like thunder to his ears.

The official authorities above have already said, at all costs, keep Qin Yu.

Compared to other places, we need Qin Dao more.

"Qin Dao, what do you think?"

"Village Chief~"

"Don't call me Village Chief; if you're being polite, just call me Brother Li."

"Brother Li, everything else is fine, what I'm worried about is that the residents on the island won't cooperate, you know."

"Once we arrive, it's hard to move; if something happens halfway, it won't be good for you or me."

"..."

"Qin Dao, don't worry about that; Qin Dao, I will arrange for people in the village to follow Qin Dao; whoever dares to cause trouble, I'll kill him."

"This is a major event concerning the entire Weizhou Island; if any rat shit dares to destroy it, watch how I deal with him."

"Qin Dao, you can write this into the contract."

Qin Yu stared at this village chief for a long time before saying,

"Alright, I believe Brother Li, but when filming, we need to re-decorate the island; the crew will pay for this, but I'll have to trouble Brother Li to find some people."

"No problem, Qin Dao, do whatever you want; we have plenty of people."

After telling the village chief the requirements, this guy quickly went off busy with blueprints and people.

Qin Yu also wanted to laugh; they say poor mountains and bad waters produce unruly people.

But this place is not bad; Qin Yu wandered around, and the residents on the island are quite simple.

Nothing bad happened.

"Fatty, the press conference is the day after tomorrow; how are the talks with the sponsors going?"

As the two walked, Qin Yu asked.

"There are quite a few people interested in this, but the quantity is too large; those people are a bit worried about whether you are... just trying to make money."

Zhou Pangzi said sheepishly.

To be honest, when Qin Yu films, there are countless sponsors who want to cooperate.

But when they heard there were over twenty ads in the movie, the brands were a bit hesitant; are you kidding me?

What movie needs over twenty ads?

If it weren't for Qin Yu being an internationally renowned director, they would have run away.

Regarding this, Qin Yu could understand.

"How about this, after the press conference the day after tomorrow, invite all the brands that want to sponsor."

"I'll treat them to a meal and let a few representatives take a look at the script."

"With someone taking the lead, I believe they will flock to it."

"But remember, those who look must sign a confidentiality agreement."

"Alright, I understand."

"..."

"By the way, how are Master Chen and Zhang Yimou doing?" Qin Yu actually wanted to invite Old Yuan.

Old Yuan also wanted to come after reading the script.

But Huaying wasn't willing; are you kidding me? If something really happened, who could take responsibility?

After thinking about it, Qin Yu decided to forget it.

That's right, if something happened, he wouldn't be able to explain it either.

Speaking of this, Zhou Pangzi was even more embarrassed; Qin Yu had been busy with the movie lately and didn't know.

But he knew; he heard the two had been arguing for a long time over this.

They even almost fought.

"It should be Old Mou, Master Chen is busy with movies after all."

"That's fine."

Qin Yu also prepared to hook up with Old Mou; looking at 2014 approaching, Zhang Yimou and that big sprayer Zhang Weiping were about to part ways.

At that time, he could bring Old Mou to Qin Yun Culture.

The next day.

The venue, crew, actors, and Qin Yu were all ready.

Qin Yu seized the time and directly posted a message on Weibo.

【Good morning to all you silly netizens and dear fans】

【My new movie The Truman Show is all ready, and the opening press conference will be held on Weizhou Island at 12:00 noon tomorrow.】

【Thank you all for your support along the way, thank you!】

The moment it was posted on Weibo, netizens were stunned.

What?

It's already ready.

Did we miss something?

Netizens were still waiting for the paparazzi to sneak in and film the auditions.

As a result, Qin Yu now announces it's already ready.

Qin Dao, don't you need actors for filming?

Did you forget something?

"Holy crap, did I miss something? Brothers, has the audition for Qin Dao's new movie already passed?"

"Same question, I've just been sleeping a little more these few days, I didn't get amnesia, did I?"

"..."

"Amnesia my ass, I've been watching Weibo the whole time, there's been no news at all, Qin Yu's new movie didn't have auditions at all."

"Me too, what's going on, Qin Dao, why aren't you playing by the rules?"

"..."

"..."

Netizens were all stunned; they had already gotten used to the routine of Qin Yu's new movies.

They were still preparing to eat melons.

To see which little flower in the circle Qin Dao was going to favor this time.

Didn't expect Qin Yu to skip such a wonderful segment directly.

"Tsk, do you guys have problems with your brains? Many directors in the country don't hold auditions, okay."

"Once the director takes a fancy to someone, they just make an appointment; large-scale auditions like Qin Yu's are the rarity, okay?"

"..."

"Well said, ignorant, like you've never seen the world."
