Chapter 356: This World Is Too Hot
Japanese delinquents are much like the teenage gangsters of old East Asian states—seeming lawless yet actually very timid; only by banding together do they dare to cause trouble. The Suzuran High boys before us are no different: after forming a gang they swagger down the street, likely just kicking trash cans and threatening passersby. They're less cool rebels and more like pranksters.
These folks were just like drunk Eastern whites; as Bai Lang walked past them, he merely gave them a few extra glances—all sorts of flamboyant gangster hairstyles, from mohawks to buzz cuts, striking to behold. Immediately the big brother leading them, the officers behind, and the foot soldiers at the rear glared back, the air thick with "What are you looking at!" Bai Lang wasn't about to be intimidated by such a kindergarten, so he stared right back at their heads.
Oppressing the weak can actually be amusing in certain situations—especially when you're oppressing those who oppress others and those who look like outright troublemakers; that's the most fun. So the "What you looking at!" scene unfolded, and Ban Tian's little girl shook with fear, yet she refused to run, merely shrinking back too scared to move. Delinquent youths, huh—still the renowned Suzuran Boys' High, which is said to specialize in taking in delinquents and is even called a preparatory school for the underworld.
Indeed, those delinquents completely ignored Bai Lang's height and build; a rank‑and‑file soldier, bringing a few more of his ilk, came over and immediately tried to slap Bai Lang on the head—his face twisted, eyes slanted. "After looking at you lot I thought I was watching a comic." Bai Lang smiled and said, then with a casual backhand slap sent the guy flying. He kept his strength in check—just enough to shake the fellow loose.
The harm to the body was slight—he didn't even lose a tooth—but the force sent that guy flying in an exaggerated manner. He even dragged two foot soldiers along, prompting the officers to size up Bai Lang: "White Crane High? That effeminate school actually has someone like this?" The pompadour officer stepped forward, uttered a remark, and then launched a punch.
Bai Lang slapped the guy's hand down, seized the moment the lad lost his balance, grabbed his head and flung him—so the fellow flew off again. Bai Lang's control remained precise—he was merely beating up kindergarteners, not truly fighting, so the force didn't even wring the pompadour's neck; it just propelled him forward, knocking over a crowd. Bai Lang clapped and smiled, gesturing for the leader to step up and meet his end.
He wasn't wearing the regulation white shirt—underneath was a garish T‑shirt, an earring in his ear, his hair swept back, the very picture of a thug. He wasn't particularly tall, but since Bai Lang had singled him out, he couldn't run—if he did, he'd have no place in the gang and the organization would be overturned. He stepped forward, his ring‑studded fist swinging; Bai Lang caught it with one hand and lightly struck his belly with the other.
The fellow's eyes bulged, he spat white foam and stood there, unconscious. "Nice! A true Suzuran strongman—he actually achieved instant rebirth! What's his name?" The lackeys had already cowered; that's just how delinquents are. Bai Lang heard a name he couldn't make out, so he pretended to understand, shoved the standing‑unconscious guy to his lackeys, and strode off—Ban Tian hurriedly followed behind him, though the gloomy aura he'd carried seemed to have dissipated a bit.
"Suzuran…" Bai Lang muttered, "A stupid high school?" Zero enrollment, it soaks up all the area's delinquent youths, and the graduates' best prospect is to become a cool guy. This is just a small interlude; the biggest gain for Bai Lang is that Ban Tian seems to have lowered his guard a bit, edging closer. "This world is toxic—otherwise how could I explain the thoughts popping up in my head that I can't handle?"
Bai Lang also felt something was off; he always saw himself as a man not lustful for women and beauty, at most having once forcibly taken a maiden in some martial‑arts world—so why is he running hot all day in this world? Tokyo is scorching, all day like the Caribbean, his mind filled with all sorts of "training," "Obviously it was originally normal." Bai Lang thought he needed to burn off his energy—since the whole world is suppressing him, using up whatever strength and energy he can still mobilize might keep him from being so lustful.
Otherwise, he'd constantly be thinking about Nako's thighs and butt; if this goes on, Bai Lang fears he'll lose his virtue and turn into a flower‑picking lecher. He utterly despises such lechers and certainly doesn't want to become one. The Ban Tian trailing behind is his prepared 'sandbag'; if he can't definitely stop it, then for the dispersal he hopes targeted dispersal will suffice.
The female classmate—Bai Lang guessed her cup size was an E. Though he doesn't like overly large headlights, preferring a modest handful, he had to admit the visual effect was truly impressive. "Really a vulgar bust size…" Bai Lang muttered to himself; good thing it's Chinese, so Ban Tian wouldn't understand—presumably. Without her glasses she'd indeed be a pretty little girl, but her legs under the skirt are still radish‑legs, which is also something Bai Lang sighs about.
Their shared route wasn't long—just the same‑direction tram, different stops. Bai Lang got off first—what annoyed him was that he still felt regret over not having seen ****. "I'm not that kind of guy!" he shouted to himself, "How can I be annoyed about not seeing something like that!" As for stepping up himself—sorry, Bai Lang still has his integrity, and he really doesn't want to suffer social death……
Although he knows that taking Ban Tian as a target would likely succeed, Bai Lang—the White Guard—how could he be such trash?!
Bai Lang also endured cold violence at school, but it had no effect on him—just treat those little brats playing house; such middle‑school‑style campus bullying is useless against the strong. Of course Ban Tian wouldn't be bullied either—since Bai Lang seized the ankle of a classmate who tried to humiliate her and dangled her outside the rooftop for a few minutes, nobody dared after that. After all, it's an effeminate high school……
The big monster lurking in Class 4‑1 is just the claws guarding his possible sandbag for directed release; he basically ignores everything else. Besides, Bai Lang's grades are excellent apart from the so‑called Chinese subject—math and English are top‑notch, and in the boxing club he also has fearsome speaking authority—after all, having schooled everyone in the ring, he now wields tremendous speaking authority.
His real "trouble" is that there's always someone—those Suzuran good‑for‑nothings sneaking around outside White Crane Academy, probing; they're said to be inquiring about a "big guy" from White Crane Academy……
