Chapter 1
Snow fell heavily, and a sliver of sunlight pierced the dim sky, illuminating the world.
A million-mile expanse of wild, untamed land.
Fierce beasts roared, exotic creatures rampaged, and ancient trees toppled in rows.
*Screech!*
A bird, purple from head to tail, flapped its wings across the land and dove downward.
It passed through crude wooden walls and arrow towers.
The bird slowed its flight and landed gently atop the tribe’s highest ancestral shrine.
It preened its feathers while looking down.
The tribe was enclosed by wooden walls in an irregular rectangle.
Dilapidated wooden huts were scattered sparsely throughout the tribe.
In front of the ancestral shrine.
A bonfire burned fiercely.
In this cold winter, it brought a deep sense of warmth.
A large number of orcs knelt on the ground, praying with devout expressions.
Their foreheads were sloped, their jaws protruded, their teeth were exposed, and their skin was rough.
They wore simple animal skins, and their hair was disheveled.
"Ancient and great God of Thunder, You have bestowed upon us life, You have bestowed upon us hope—"
"You have illuminated our path forward—"
"You are our ancestor—"
"You are our faith—"
"You are the supreme existence!"
The sounds of prayer rose one after another.
Looking through the light of dawn, every one of these orcs had eyes filled with devotion.
They prostrated themselves on the ground.
Even the orcs who were still young.
Were offering their faith to the deity under the guidance of their parents.
At the very front, the elderly—and only—orc shaman spoke with a passionate voice:
"Great God of Thunder, You are the master of thunder, Your divine might is endless!"
"May Your divine power be eternal, may Your divine fire never extinguish!"
"Please accept our sacrifice!"
"Please protect Your humble believers!"
As his voice fell.
Two strong orcs immediately carried over the blood-drenched carcass of a large black bull.
The bull’s horns were knotted and spiraled.
Its eyes were wide open, and even in death, a hint of ferocity remained.
Its hide was black and shiny, with strange patterns on its back.
*Thud!*
The carcass of the large black bull was placed before the gate of the ancestral shrine.
"Great God of Thunder, please accept our sacrifice!"
All the orcs shouted fanatically.
They were expectant and nervous.
They did not know if the great God of Thunder would accept their sacrifice.
Inside the ancestral shrine.
Li Li Li Yue’s expression was calm.
Two years ago.
A world-shaking change occurred across the globe.
Billions of people.
Were all brought to this place called the Immortal Continent.
Everyone became a deity.
Through the divine mark that appeared out of thin air on his finger.
He had already entered the City of Deities many times.
And had learned many things.
"According to some big shots."
"The most important thing for a deity is their believers."
"I heard that back on Earth, quite a few unlucky deities have had their believers die out, and they themselves have fallen."
He muttered to himself.
But knowing is one thing.
Doing is another.
According to his observations.
The area near the village could be described as fraught with danger.
Fierce beasts, vicious beasts, magical beasts, exotic creatures, birds of prey...
They were countless.
This small tribe of his.
Originally had one hundred and twenty-three orcs.
But now.
Only ninety-five remained.
And this was only because he had spared no faith power.
To let the shaman heal the injured orcs.
Otherwise.
At least another twenty or thirty would have died.
These dead orcs.
Were either killed while hunting.
Or killed by beasts that had accidentally charged into the tribe.
"I'm just unlucky."
"I heard some deities started with thousands of believers."
"One big shot even had a Tier 5 flying dragon among their starting believers."
"That must be so satisfying."
He felt envious.
Never mind a Tier 5 flying dragon.
If he were just given a Tier 3 unit.
He would wake up laughing in his sleep.
Unlike now—
He looked at the three information panels in front of him and let out a long sigh.

"Mediocre, that's probably the best way to describe me..."
Li Li Li Yue said helplessly.
But being able to become a deity with infinite lifespan directly.
Was already a great blessing.
He couldn't ask for too much.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly.
He paused.
His eyes stared unblinkingly at the carcass of the large black bull.
To be precise.
He was staring at the back of the bull's carcass, beneath the strange patterns.
Through the bull hide.
There was a drop of blood there, shimmering with a faint light!
It was just like a ruby, completely different from the bull's other blood!
And—
He had a feeling.
That he could retrieve that drop of blood!
This feeling.
Was something he hadn't had during the orcs' last blood sacrifice!
During that blood sacrifice.
Aside from gaining some faith power.
He had been completely unable to collect the sacrificial items into his own divine domain.
Why was it possible this time?
"Could it be because of the quality?"
"Was the quality too low a year ago, so it couldn't enter the divine domain?"
He was suspicious and uncertain.
In the City of Deities.
Hadn't any of those show-off big shots told him about this issue?
Were they all hiding it, refusing to share it with him?
"They're all jerks..."
He muttered.
Of course.
He also knew.
That making a fortune in silence was the best way.
Although the Immortal Continent was vast and boundless.
Who knew if they would be lucky enough to run into each other?
Once they did.
A divine war might have to start!
Divine wars—
Were always to the death.
One might ask.
I ask you.
