Chapter 711

What is the Godfire?

In essence, the Godfire is the materialization of a rule-based ability.

To put it simply.

It is the manifestation of divine authority materialized.

A Demigod.

Who wishes to acquire more divine authority.

Then—

Must undergo the trial of the divine rule.

Two hundred drops of divine power—

Are merely the fuel for the divine rule to descend and administer the trial.

Just as mortals in a lower plane take an exam.

You must provide your own ink, brush, paper, and inkstone.

Without ink, brush, paper, and inkstone, you have no qualification to take the exam.

And—

The difficulty of the trial for a Seventh-Tier Golden Demigod differs from that of a Ninth-Tier Golden Demigod.

A Seventh-Tier Golden Demigod.

Has a divine authority control rate of only 6%, far from the 10% standard required for a Lower-Grade True God.

Therefore, to pass the trial of divine authority and bridge the 4% gap in divine authority control in one go—

Is extremely, extremely difficult.

Normally speaking.

To pass the divine authority trial as a Seventh-Tier Golden Demigod and ascend to True God.

That is sheer luck.

Just like a mortal taking an exam, guessing answers blindly, yet getting them all right.

And a Ninth-Tier Golden Demigod.

Has a minimum divine authority control rate of 8%.

The gap to 10% is much smaller.

The probability of smoothly passing the divine authority trial and ascending to True God is naturally much greater.

However—

To achieve an even higher success rate.

Many Golden Demigods.

Even upon reaching the Ninth-Tier Golden Demigod realm.

Still do not ignite the Godfire.

Instead, they choose to continue accumulating.
