Chapter 114: Real Combat Assessment! Spiritual Improvement! (Extra update for Golden Alliance

Every year, for students whose physical fitness has not reached Level 15, Kunlun Martial Arts University prepares two real combat assessments.

Once, at the end of July every year.

Once, at the end of February every year.

Both are in the first month after the start of the semester.

Real combat assessment is not divided by grade, but according to everyone's techniques and physical fitness, entering the first to fifth real combat assessment bases.

Ensuring that the strength gap between students entering the same real combat assessment base is not too outrageous.

Basically, those participating in the real combat assessment are freshman to junior students, as well as a small number of senior students.

Senior students? Almost none.

Because, being able to get into Kunlun Martial Arts University, after four or five years of university cultivation, even if the technique has not broken through to the fourth stage, reaching Level 15 or above in physical fitness is not difficult.

Physical fitness reaching Level 15?

They are no longer participating in real combat assessment.

But starting to enter various star realms to carry out life-and-death roaming.

Level 15, combined with third-stage high-tier or even third-stage consummate techniques, is already strong enough.

In many Tier-One star realm battles, it can play a huge role.

...... July 30th morning, students of various academies had already selected suitable weapons from the armory.

Li Yuan was still the same as usual, a long spear over two meters long, plus a long saber and a short saber.

Also protective clothing, battle boots, soft armor, etc.

All were First-Rank upper grade, with extremely strong defense and toughness.

"Senior Brother, are you going to the Fourth Base?" An Nong was shocked inwardly, but remained calm on the surface.

"What?"

"Senior Brother is going to the Fourth Base, we seem to be all in the First Base?"

"I am in the First Base."

"I am also in the First Base."

"Can the academy's total group score still be taken?" Instantly, the freshmen of the six academies discussed in low voices.

They weren't panicked, just thought Li Yuan would lead them to kill in the First Base.

Over the past month, Li Yuan hadn't actually fulfilled his responsibilities as "Senior Brother."

But with Gu Qianghan and An Nong coordinating in the middle, there were no problems.

Martial arts universities are not like cultural universities and don't carry out various activities.

Students' main energy is spent on cultivation.

"What's there to discuss?" Gu Qianghan's voice was low. "I've already researched it; it's not just Source Brother who is going to higher-level bases."

"Yang Hong, Wu Luo, they are the same," Gu Qianghan's voice was sonorous. "They are all going to the Second Base."

"Source Brother going to the Fourth Base just shows that Source Brother's strength is super strong," Gu Qianghan's gaze swept over. "Is there any problem?"

The crowd's voices immediately quieted down; they were just discussing.

Besides.

Li Yuan, as a freshman, being able to go to the Fourth Base on his first real combat assessment was enough to explain everything.

"Everyone doesn't need to worry too much."

"Yesterday, I had already researched the rules," An Nong smiled. "In the real combat assessment, the group scores of the eight academies are calculated by grade."

"Each academy, the total scores of the top 200 of each grade are added together, similar to the enrollment competition rules."

"What does this mean? Even if Senior Brother goes to the Fourth Base, the final score will still be added to our freshman group score," An Nong said.

With this, many students listened silently.

Indeed.

Calculated this way, it didn't seem to make much difference which base Li Yuan went to.

"In addition, everyone must understand that Senior Brother going to the Fourth Base actually has an advantage for us," An Nong said. "Although in the group total score, the individual cap is 200 points, meaning even if someone gets 10,000 points, it can only be listed in the individual ranking list, and can only count as 200 points when calculated into the group score."

Li Yuan watched An Nong's "performance."

Individual conversion to group score, maximum 200 points, this is to prevent a super genius from being too strong and hurting the competitive enthusiasm of most students.

"But you have to think about it."

"If Senior Brother stayed in the First Base, killing one only gets 1 point; how hard is it to get 200 points? If he kills too much, it will also make our killing efficiency lower," An Nong shook his head, his voice suddenly rising. "But Senior Brother went to the Fourth Base; killing one casually is dozens of points, and he can easily get 200 points."

"Take the highest score."

"Remember!"

"Senior Brother going to the Fourth Base is not just for himself, but for us," An Nong's voice was excited. "Senior Brother cultivates so desperately and hard, do we just rely on Senior Brother? What's the difference between that and being trash?"

"We are the glorious Sixth Academy!"

"With Senior Brother's full score as a foundation, can't we take the freshman academy first place?" An Nong's voice became increasingly impassioned. "All brothers and sisters, tell me, what is our goal?"

"First!"

"First!" In front of the Black Dragon Building, a mountain-shaking shout erupted instantly. These students didn't necessarily agree with An Nong's words, nor did they necessarily think that Li Yuan being Senior Brother could command them, but being able to get benefits together, what's wrong with shouting slogans?

This scene made the senior students of the second and third years of the six academies in the distance look at each other.

"So united!"

"Freshmen are much more united than our sophomores and juniors."

"That junior named Li Yuan really has means, being able to twist so many people into a rope, at least on the surface they all agree, which is already very amazing," these senior students of the six academies discussed casually.

In the month since enrollment, Li Yuan's reputation at Kunlun Martial Arts University had already become very large.

At least, all students of the six academies in school basically knew Li Yuan.

Not long after.

Everyone entered underground in order according to the real combat assessment base they were heading to.

Here, like Jiangbei Martial Arts University, it was a super-large train station.

Trains were parked here one after another.

Li Yuan broke away from the freshman team, even surpassing the sophomore main team.

According to the sequence number, he boarded a train very far inside.

"Junior? You didn't come to the wrong place, did you."

"Are you going to the Fourth Base?" The students on the train were quite surprised.

"Yes."

"He is Li Yuan, understand?" A slightly chubby girl glanced at the junior student of another academy beside her, and winked at Li Yuan. "Junior Li Yuan, hello, I am also from the Sixth Academy, Wang Chan."

"Hello, Senior Sister." Li Yuan smiled slightly; he had some impression of this girl.

He had seen her twice in the Black Dragon Building.

"Li Yuan?"

"He is Li Yuan?"

"Just enrolled and cultivated for a month, and going to the Fourth Base with us? Physical fitness shouldn't be high, right?" These students couldn't help but look at Li Yuan a few more times.

Obviously, most of them had heard of Li Yuan and knew that Li Yuan's technique level was extremely high.

It's just!

Real combat is not just about technique level, but also about physical fitness.

A freshman who just enrolled, how strong can his physical fitness be?

Without hesitation, Li Yuan's mind moved, and he had already probed the several senior brothers and sisters in front of him.

12.8, 13.2, 13.5, 13.0, 12.9.

Five people!

Their physical fitness was all around Level 13, and the highest even reached Level 13.5.

"Level 13, standard burst speed is 36 m/s, standard fist power exceeds 5000 kg," Li Yuan sighed inwardly.

That is to say.

The physical strength of these senior brothers and sisters, who were mainly juniors, was basically two or three times his own.

Fortunately, the speed gap was not that outrageous.

"Relying on technique advantages, I can still fight," Li Yuan thought to himself.

Although his strength was much weaker.

However, the instantaneous burst was also several thousand kilograms; if he stabbed a vital point, it would be death or injury all the same.

"Fourth Base, real combat assessment rules."

"First, killing each other is not allowed," the burly military officer on the light screen said coldly.

"Second, the entire real combat assessment will last for two days and two nights."...

"Sixth, star realm creatures below Level 10.0 do not count for points; killing a star realm creature between 10.0-11.9 can get 1 point."

"Killing a star realm creature between 12.0-12.9 can get 5 points."

"Killing a star realm creature between 13.0-13.9 can get 30 points."

"For Level 14 star realm creatures, the quantity is extremely, extremely small; killing one can get 200 points."

"Finally, a reminder: the real combat assessment venue range is extremely large, with a diameter of five hundred kilometers, plus your strength is already very strong," the burly military officer said coldly. "Once you encounter life danger, even if you ask for help immediately... the small drones in the air may not be able to solve the enemy, and to get enough support power, it will take at least one minute, normally five to ten minutes."

"Be sure to be careful."

Swish! The light screen ended!

"Hum~"

The train moved forward at high speed, and everyone sat on the chairs on both sides, resting silently.

Li Yuan was the same.

!.

"The real combat assessment of the Fourth Base is indeed completely different from what I experienced at Jiangbei Martial Arts University," Li Yuan muttered to himself.

Last time, the participants were generally weak, and the range was only one hundred kilometers.

Therefore, the military base could easily control everyone's whereabouts and ensure everyone's safety.

And this time?

First, the number of participants was only over a thousand, but the real combat assessment range was dozens of times larger, and the difficulty of monitoring rose linearly.

Secondly, the strength of the participants soared, like Level 13 martial artists, one burst and flash is dozens of meters.

During life-and-death fighting, how to save?

Mainly, it still depends on oneself.

"Perhaps, this is the painstaking effort of the high-level human civilization," Li Yuan muttered to himself.

If it were normal students, gradually transitioning from the First Real Combat Assessment Base to the Fifth Real Combat Assessment Base.

From the initial "comprehensive protection" to the final "basically no protection," it is getting closer and closer to real combat.

It can achieve maximum training.

"However, casualties are inevitable," Li Yuan remembered the data list he saw a few days ago.

Every year, each academy has about 250 freshmen, but when graduating, it is often less than 200.

Why? They all died in various real combat assessments and life-and-death tempering.

This is the path of a full-time martial artist.

Just until graduation, the death rate exceeds 20%, not to mention truly throwing oneself into the front line of the star realm war after graduation.

"Teacher, since you put me into the Fourth Base."

"Then, it is trusting that I can win," Li Yuan gripped his long spear and closed his eyes to rest.

On a large aircraft.

"Li Yang, are you crazy?"

"His physical fitness is only Level 11, and you put him into the Fourth Base?" The only female vice-dean of the Sixth Academy was furious.

"Xu Yuanzhang! Don't be angry."

Li Yang smiled apologetically. "Didn't I see his potential is big enough? To be able to squeeze his potential as much as possible, he is also my registered disciple; I won't be reckless."

"It is necessary to squeeze potential, but not to send him to death," Vice-Xu Yuanzhang said coldly. "Don't you know the danger of the Fourth Base? There are Level 14 star realm creatures at the highest."

"Level 14 versus Level 11, how big is the speed and strength gap? It's almost a second-kill." Xu Yuanzhang was indeed angry.

Although she didn't directly teach Li Yuan, she was also quite concerned.

In her view, Li Yang was playing with fire.

"Don't be angry, I have already arranged for absolute protection in secret," Li Yang smiled. "If he really encounters danger, he will be withdrawn immediately."

"Fine."

"If Li Yuan really dies inside, I will report you to Principal Fang," Xu Yuanzhang said coldly. "That Fan Jin is a lunatic, and you are just as crazy after staying with him for a long time."

Three hours later.

Amidst waves of discomfort and pain, the train finally entered a mysterious star realm.

Which star realm specifically? Li Yuan didn't know.

Got off the train.

"So many big trees."

"Jungle? The legendary Fourth Real Combat Assessment Base, this is my first time here," all the students got off the train, most of them were here for the first time.

"The sun in the sky seems slightly smaller."

"It seems that the environment of this star realm is similar to Blue Star," Li Yuan was also observing. "There are no particularly tall mountain ranges, but there are hills everywhere."

"Plus the big trees over a hundred meters tall that can be seen everywhere, the environment is complex."

A quarter of an hour later.

Li Yuan and his batch of participants sat in a fully enclosed small aircraft.

Entered the real combat assessment venue.

Half an hour later.

"Boom~" Accompanied by a huge roar, the cabin door opened, and Li Yuan was the sixth one dropped from the aircraft.

Jumped down from a height of tens of meters.

Landed lightly on the canopy of a big tree like an ape, and landed on the ground after a few flashes.

The aircraft left quickly.

"12:00 noon, the real combat assessment officially begins," Li Yuan glanced at the positioning wristband in his hand. "Ends at 12:00 noon the day after tomorrow."

Lasts 48 hours.

"Go." Li Yuan randomly chose a direction and walked into the depths of the dense forest.

Regarding the many materials of the Fourth Base, the school had already sent them to these participants.

But it was only terrain data.

What exactly are the star realm creatures here? Li Yuan and the others didn't know very well, only knowing there were humanoid creatures and also beasts.

Can only search slowly.

After advancing more than ten miles.

Suddenly.

As if premonition in advance, Li Yuan, who was walking normally, suddenly narrowed his eyes.

"Boom!"

His movement speed soared instantly.

His footsteps stepped hard, the dead wood under his feet shattered instantly, and his whole person rushed out like a cannonball.

There is an enemy!

"Roar~" In that mountain wall, a huge alien beast that had originally seemed to blend into the mountain wall instantly realized it was exposed.

Suddenly opened its bloody mouth and pounced on Li Yuan.

It was over three meters long, and its limbs were very much like a crocodile, only much more agile than a crocodile.

The two sides crossed instantly.

"Kill!"

At the moment of crossing, Li Yuan, as if he had known it in advance, accurately avoided the opponent's attack.

The long spear in his hand burst out instantly, and he stabbed straight out.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Several spear shadows lit up.

"Puff~" The spear tip was sharp, directly piercing the head of this star realm creature.

The spear tip retracted instantly.

"Bang~" The huge star realm creature's corpse fell heavily on the dead wood, erupting with a huge sound, and countless broken wood flew around.

【You killed an entry-rank creature, obtained spiritual nourishment, spiritual awakening degree reached 14.0%】 A reminder flashed instantly on the Mind Palace panel.

"A Level 12.1 star realm creature, comparable to the Moon Demon Wolf King I killed back then, and it improved by 1.2% at once?" Li Yuan's eyes lit up.

That is to say.

As long as he kills seven or eight similar star realm creatures, the spiritual awakening degree will be enough to reach the 20% limit.
