Chapter 72

Gu Qianghan went to the lounge.

Li Yuan took a long spear from the weapon cabinet on the side and began to practice spear.

Most of the time today was spent rushing around.

He couldn't calm down to practice.

"Practice spear for an hour first, then practice the cultivation method for two hours." Li Yuan made a decision: "Then, practice the 'Sun and Starry Sky Observation Method'."

The cultivation path does not allow for any slack for a single day.

"Others are willing to befriend me, willing to show favor to me, not because I am handsome and kind." Li Yuan thought very thoroughly in his heart: "But because I have enough value."

Only with value can the relationship between each other be stable.

Not to mention getting along with others, even between parents and children, it is the same.

"Whoosh!"

"Whoosh!" The long spear was like a dragon, Li Yuan could mobilize his whole body's strength with a casual spear thrust.

In fact, while practicing spear, Li Yuan was also thinking in his heart.

"Signed the contract."

"For the college entrance examination, as long as I reach the score line of the five prestigious schools, is that enough?" Li Yuan thought secretly.

Li Yuan didn't dare to say that he could reach this line 100%, so cultivation naturally couldn't be slack.

"Starfire University." Li Yuan shook his head slightly.

Before his senior year, Li Yuan had never thought about Starfire University or Starry Sky University.

At that time, the difference was too big.

But people's ambitions are constantly changing. After the January assessment, with the improvement of grades, occasionally, Li Yuan would also think about Starfire University.

"Recognize reality." Li Yuan danced the long spear fiercely, and the spear body smashed fiercely onto the sandbag.

"Poof~" The sandbag erupted with an astonishing roaring sound.

"Nearly a hundred years ago, Dongfang Ji was able to walk from Kunlun Martial Arts University to the pinnacle of martial arts." Li Yuan thought secretly: "The quality of the university cannot determine everything."

Whether it is high school or university, it is just a stage in a martial artist's growth path.

Not to mention that Kunlun Martial Arts University is not bad.

Even Jiangbei Martial Arts University, where the average talent of students is much lower, has many students who transformed during the university stage, and a large number of Source Martial Artists have emerged in history, and even more than one Flying Martial Artist has been born.

As for Kunlun Martial Arts University? In terms of the total number of Flying Martial Artists born, it is not much less than Starfire University.

"Nowadays, the conditions of Kunlun Martial Arts University are definitely better than in Dongfang Ji's era." Li Yuan's heart was full of ambition.

"Creating a method? Many predecessors in history succeeded in creating methods."

"In the future, I will also be able to create a method and become a Flying Martial Artist."

【Your spear technique realm has been upgraded from 2% of the fourth stage to 3% of the fourth stage】 The Divine Palace panel suddenly flashed a prompt.

……

The invitation activities on the second and third days were very ordinary, including symposiums, lectures, and 'one-on-one' exchanges between elite students of martial arts universities.

There were also some tests, such as fist strength and explosive speed tests.

The observers from the five prestigious schools gradually learned about Li Yuan signing with Kunlun Martial Arts University in advance and getting an S-level contract.

Some felt it was a pity.

Others felt that Li Yuan was not worth S-level.

However, Li Yuan didn't know these things.

The news didn't spread among the students either.

After Gu Qianghan knew, he only told Lin Lanyue, and both of them kept their mouths shut, and even Wu Dongdong didn't know.

On the third day, after dinner, thousands of students gathered in a large conference hall.

"The actual combat assessment with star realm creatures starts tomorrow morning?"

"Need to sign a death disclaimer?"

"Actual combat assessment, has a 1.2% mortality rate?" Thousands of elite students, hearing the explanation from the female teacher on the podium, instantly exploded.

"Quiet!"

A low voice, like a booming bell, exploded, instantly suppressing all discussion.

Inside the conference room, it became completely quiet.

All the students looked at the podium, where beside the original female teacher, there was an extra burly man wearing a blue martial arts uniform.

His height exceeded two meters, his aura was astonishing, especially when those cold eyes swept over, few students dared to look him in the eye.

"A 1.2% mortality rate makes you panic? Afraid?" The blue-clothed burly man's voice was cold: "Then in the future, when you truly go deep into the star realm to fight star realm creatures and face missions with a mortality rate of over 50%, will you just be deserters?"

The entire conference room was silent.

"1.2% mortality rate?" Li Yuan stood in the crowd, listening silently.

He wasn't afraid of any mortality rate, just slightly surprised.

After all, logically speaking, they were only participating in an event as students.

And there's a possibility of death?

On the podium, the blue-clothed burly man nodded to the female teacher, signaling her to continue.

"The location of the actual combat assessment is temporarily confidential."

The female teacher's voice was very gentle: "In the actual combat assessment, most of what you will face are non-ranked star realm creatures, and the strongest are only level 12."

"All have been screened."

"During the assessment, my Jiangbei Martial Arts University, in conjunction with the military, will protect you throughout the process, striving for zero casualties."

"It's just that it's a life-and-death struggle with cold weapons."

"No matter how good the protection is, accidents are inevitable, so we don't force everyone to participate." The female teacher said: "If you are not willing, fill out the 'Voluntary Abandonment of Actual Combat Assessment Application Form'."

Every student listened, and hearing that there was 'full protection' made them feel slightly relieved.

Hearing that they could give up, many students had little thoughts in their hearts.

"However."

The female teacher changed the subject: "If you don't participate in the actual combat assessment, or if you don't meet the minimum requirements in the actual combat assessment, then you cannot get a special training contract from the five prestigious schools."

"In addition, even if you are admitted to the five prestigious schools through the college entrance examination, if you want to enter the special training list, you will still have to participate in the actual combat assessment at that time, and you must pass."

Whoosh~

There was an uproar; most students didn't know about this regulation before.

"To be selected for special training, must have actual combat assessment?" Li Yuan was also surprised.

"This is a new regulation." Lin Lanyue on the side whispered: "In the past, there was only actual combat assessment, but it wasn't linked to the special training list."

"The Martial Arts Department just issued the notice, and it will be officially implemented this year. It hasn't been publicly announced yet, so it's normal that it hasn't spread."

Li Yuan realized.

"Actual combat assessment will also have corresponding rewards." The female teacher continued: "The 1st place in the points ranking will be rewarded with 2 million Blue Star coins."

"Those ranked 2nd-10th will be rewarded with 500,000 Blue Star coins."

"Those ranked 11th-100th will be rewarded with 200,000 Blue Star coins."

"Those ranked after 100, as long as they pass the actual combat assessment, will also be rewarded with 50,000 Blue Star coins."

Many students' eyes lit up.

The rewards for the actual combat assessment were obviously higher than those for the skill assessment, and the first place was directly rewarded with 2 million Blue Star coins.

Not to mention the rewards for the top ten.

As long as they met the standard, they would have at least 50,000 Blue Star coins, which was already quite a lot.

"This is a wide-ranging subsidy." Li Yuan couldn't help but say.

"Those who can come to participate in the event are all elite students in a province, and it is normal for a batch of Source Martial Artists to be born in the future." Lin Lanyue smiled softly: "So, since they were invited with great difficulty, Jiangbei Martial Arts University will always distribute some money on a large scale to win favor and leave a good relationship."

Li Yuan thought.

In a sense, this is Jiangbei Martial Arts University's human investment.

As long as you accept this reward, you are implicitly accepting a favor from Jiangbei Martial Arts University.

On the podium.

"Whether to participate in the actual combat assessment, decide for yourself." The female teacher said: "After returning to the dormitory, there will be contract documents on the virtual network. Everyone can sign to agree or give up in their personal space."

……

Thousands of students walked out of the conference room one after another, and the sky was not yet dark.

"Li Yuan, are you participating?" Lin Lanyue asked.

"Yes." Li Yuan smiled: "I have already signed the special training contract, so I have to go."

The S-level special training contract signed the day before yesterday clearly stated that he must participate in the actual combat test.

Not participating is considered a breach of contract.

Participating but not passing the assessment is not a breach of contract, but you have to participate again after enrollment.

If you don't pass the assessment twice, your treatment will be lowered.

"There's a mortality rate, aren't you afraid?" Lin Lanyue teased slightly.

"What's there to be afraid of? I've received a Young Hero title." Li Yuan smiled: "If you talk about danger, the last encounter was more dangerous."

"That's true." Lin Lanyue smiled beautifully.

Immediately, she lowered her head, opened her smart ring, and clicked on the light screen.

Beep~

Li Yuan's smart ring vibrated immediately, and looking down, it was a video file sent by Lin Lanyue through WeChat.

"This is?" Li Yuan was puzzled.

"Don't ask, there are too many people here." Lin Lanyue smiled: "After you go back, watch it on the virtual network, and you will naturally understand. See you tomorrow."

Lin Lanyue left directly.

Li Yuan endured the confusion in his heart, didn't click it, and walked toward his dormitory building with Gu Qianghan.
