Chapter 1218

Because they all received divine revelation.

And this revelation was simple.

That is, the fox maiden Sister Qing Ling and Meng Ying must prepare for total war, for the Flame Empire will soon face formidable enemies!

After receiving the revelation, the fox maiden Sister Qing Ling and Meng Ying conferred together.

Immediately afterward, the Flame Empire began full-scale military preparation.

Now, the number of troops in the Flame Empire is already enormous.

Its core remains the imperial army and the temple army.

The imperial army consists of five hundred thousand beastmen and three million elite warriors.

In addition, there are vast border garrisons and regional forces; even without counting the regional troops, the Flame Empire's standing forces now exceed ten million.

Moreover, the Flame Empire has reserve forces numbering in the hundreds of millions.

Keep in mind, the Flame Empire's current population is a full seven billion—such an army is entirely sustainable.

In fact, the Flame Empire's current military size is still not large.

However, after receiving Lin Yan's revelation, the Flame Empire began arming vast numbers of reserve forces.

"Where will the enemies come from?"

As the Flame Empire prepared for war and Lin Yan prepared to upgrade his 20th-level divine body, Lin Yan also pondered this question.

The most powerful empire on the Divine Continent now is Venerable Tianlan's Tianlan Empire, which ranks first among all empires on the Divine Continent.

Between the Tianlan Empire and the Flame Empire lie seven other empires.

The heavenly deities ruling these seven empires are all fourth-tier, but not all can be Law Lords.

The number of beings who have touched the Law may be only two or three.

The strength of these two or three Law Lords should be inferior to Venerable Tianlan.

So the question arises: if Lin Yan attempts to ascend to Supreme Deity, aside from heavenly enemies, where will the foes attacking the Flame Empire come from?

Yet, the Goddess of Life said enemies would attack Lin Yan's realm—so they likely will.

Thus, Lin Yan temporarily set aside this question and focused on stabilizing his 20th-level divine body.

Another week passed; the resources needed to upgrade the 20th-level divine body were nearly all gathered, but one item remained missing.

And that one item must be purchased from the Ocean Deity!
