Chapter 1248

In the Sacred Flame Forest, Princess Chenxi received a report from an elf!

After receiving this news, Princess Chenxi and Lomina quickly arrived at the northern edge of the Sacred Flame Forest through a small spatial gate.

Now, in the Sacred Flame Forest, Lomina had built many such spatial gates.

Not long after, the Queen of Light, Ophimia, also arrived.

In their line of sight, a gigantic water wall appeared!

"The Ocean Life is launching a massive attack on the Continent of Gods—hurry and flee!"

At this moment, the Queen of the Bay Sirens descended and spoke to Lomina.

The Queen of the Bay Sirens did not know that the Ocean Life was not planning to attack the Continent of Gods.

They intended to attack the realm of the Lord of Flame!

"Thank you for the warning, Queen Viki!"

Lomina thanked her for the warning.

Otherwise, the elves would not have detected the ocean's anomaly so quickly.

On the other side, Ophimia had already begun her prayer.

After the Goddess of Light joined Lin Yan's divine sect, the Loki Elf Empire and the Sacred Flame Elf Empire had merged into one.

Nevertheless, Ophimia still presided over the Loki Forest.

"Chenxi, the Ocean Life may not be targeting us—it's likely preparing to attack my god's southern realm. It's too late to evacuate the elves; our only option now is to beg my god for aid."

Lomina said to Chenxi.

Chenxi nodded.

The elves are under the protection of the Goddess of Life; in the Heavenly Realm, few gods deliberately oppose the Elf Divine Domain.

Yet on the Continent of Gods, many human nations still harbor designs against the elf tribes.

The Goddess of Life does not interfere much in the affairs of the Continent of Gods.

After all, she is a supreme deity far above; ten elf goddesses' prayers might draw her attention and aid, but ten thousand elf prayers might still fail to catch her notice.

Assisting these elves is the task of the elf goddesses.

Chenxi began to pray.

Meanwhile, on the sea surface, the raised ocean drew ever closer.

A tremendous howling wind had already reached them—the roar caused by the ocean surging wildly forward!

"Aren't you leaving yet?"

The Queen of the Bay Sirens, seeing that Chenxi and Lomina still remained, asked in surprise.

Lomina shook her head and said: "These are my god's enemies—my god will descend power to stop them!"

The Queen of the Bay Sirens glanced at the boundless ocean surging toward them and said: "This entire sea has come—filled with many powerful sea monsters. Even countless Saint Domains couldn't stop it, could they?"

Her wings had already begun to flap.

Clearly, this queen of sirens intended to retreat.

Another minute passed, and the ocean was now right before their eyes.

At the very front of the ocean were numerous colossal sea monsters churning massive waves.

With their combined force, the ocean surged forward at an astonishing speed.

"They're coming—I'm leaving!"

The Queen of the Bay Sirens finished speaking, flapped her wings, and prepared to depart.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, along the coastline, a colossal wall of fire erupted.

The moment this fire wall appeared, it expanded at an astonishing rate.

Within mere seconds, it had blocked the entire Sacred Flame Forest and Loki Forest.

This fire wall was not thick, yet it reached several thousand meters in height and stretched endlessly in length!

Through the fire wall, the approaching ocean could still be clearly seen!

The sea monsters at the forefront of the ocean, upon seeing the land of the Continent of Gods, grew wildly excited.

But when they saw this endless fire wall, though surprised, they paid it no mind.

How could such a thin wall possibly stop an entire ocean?

Besides, even if they wanted to stop now, they could not.

The entire ocean, under the combined force of countless sea monsters, had already gained unstoppable momentum!

Even a hundred Saint Domains here could not possibly halt this advancing ocean.

Moreover, the Ocean Life contained no shortage of Saint Domain-level beings!

Thus, in the blink of an eye, the ocean, raised thousands of meters high, crashed directly into the fire wall!

The Queen of the Bay Sirens had already flown into the sky, alongside all her sirens, gazing downward.

Seeing that Chenxi and the others still remained, a look of concern crossed her face.

But immediately, her expression changed.

For she saw that as the boundless, surging ocean struck the fire wall, the wall "boom-ed" violently outward.

Instantly, every drop of water and every sea monster that reached the fire wall vanished without a trace!

The ocean surged forward too quickly.

Yet no matter how much seawater followed, or how many sea monsters lurked within, not a single drop of water breached the fire wall, nor a single sea monster broke through its boundary.

They were not merely blocked by the fire wall.

They were utterly incinerated!

The temperature of that wall of fire continued to rise.

It rose to the point where not only the seawater and sea monsters rushing toward it vanished rapidly.

Even the seawater behind it, not yet surging forward, boiled swiftly.
