Chapter 138

It was also very close to five hundred thousand.

The combat strength of the cat-folk warriors was not considered strong.

However, it was enough to defend a city.

More cat-folk could join the labor, freeing the centaur warriors from the fields, allowing them to focus on training and become warriors of the gods!

On the day the cat-folk warriors arrived, Meng Ying led a thousand centaurs back. After letting these thousand centaur warriors rest, she went to the temple to meet with the fox woman, Sister Qing Ling.

"Sister Meng Ying, you've worked hard!"

The fox woman, Sister Qing Ling, looked at the weary-faced Meng Ying and said.

Meng Ying shook her head and said, "It's nothing, Holy Maiden. We must prepare for battle—the lion-folk will attack soon!"

The fox woman, Sister Qing Ling's expression turned solemn, and she asked about the specifics.

Meng Ying told the fox woman, Sister Qing Ling everything that had happened along the way.

The fox woman, Sister Qing Ling was quite surprised upon hearing it.

She had not expected that Meng Ying, leading only a thousand centaur warriors, had actually accomplished so much!

"Sister Meng Ying, you're really amazing!"

The fox woman, Sister Qing Ling said with sincere praise.

After chatting with Meng Ying some more about the journey, Qing Ling brought up the main matter: "Sister Meng Ying, you've fought so many battles along the way. It seems that after receiving my Lord's blessing, the centaur warriors' strength has indeed increased considerably. These centaur warriors now probably all reach the First Rank level!"

Meng Ying nodded.

In terms of physique, centaurs were still a bit lacking compared to lion-folk warriors.

Adult lion-folk warriors basically all had combat strength at the First Rank level.

But adult centaur warriors were still some distance Away from First Rank.

However, after receiving Lin Yan's blessing, these centaur warriors could also reach the First Rank level.

Outstanding centaur warriors might even reach higher.

This was the innate advantage of beastfolk with powerful physiques.

Of course, for them to reach a High Realm was harder than for humans.

Humans had a low starting point, but grew quickly.

Beastfolk had a high starting point, but found it harder to grow!

The fox woman, Sister Qing Ling added: "Actually, after you set out, we had already begun preparing for war. Sister Meng Ying, why don't you rest first, and then I'll take you to see what we've accomplished during this period?"
