Chapter 1473: Had she been noticed?

Next, Lin Yan observed for another hundred years.

Lin Yan had confirmed: she was indeed absorbing starlight.

Absorbing the light of the entire starry sky.

This seemed to be her cultivation method.

According to Lin Yan's time-reversal calculations, she had absorbed a full ten thousand years' worth of starlight from that starry expanse.

"Huh, a star chart?"

Lin Yan noticed that after absorbing sufficient starlight, she performed one additional action.

She extended her hand and drew a star chart in the air; then Lin Yan saw her tap a specific point within the chart.

"Is this her next destination?"

Lin Yan suddenly understood.

He recorded that star chart.

After the time reversal ended, Lin Yan compared it against the current starry sky.

The starry sky from eons ago was completely different from the one today.

Yet, with the immense power of Lin Yan's divine essence, after spending considerable time, he managed to match the positions on her star chart with those in the current sky.

Once matched, it became much easier.

Another month passed, and Lin Yan directly traveled to the location marked on her star chart and initiated time reversal again.

This time, it went smoothly.

In just a few minutes, Lin Yan found the scene of her appearing there.

Eons ago, this place had been a vast, immense star system.

She halted in the starry sky and resumed absorbing starlight.

Her actions stirred certain entities within the starry sky, yet none dared approach.

Lin Yan observed in silence.

When the time reversal ended, Lin Yan did not leave. He stayed there for a month, then initiated time reversal again to continue observing.

Across endless eons, even when Lin Yan reversed time to her exact moment, he struggled to perceive changes at the level of cosmic laws.

Yet through observation, Lin Yan could rapidly analyze her strength and some of her cultivation methods.

"At least a Primordial God's level of power."

Lin Yan murmured.

That was certain.

After the era of the Ancient Gods and the Heavenly Realm, she, still within the Dark Abyss, retained power surpassing that of the current Life Goddess and Ocean Goddess—her past self must have been incomparably mighty.

Lin Yan did not rush to find out what she had endured, or why she now sat inert in the Dark Abyss, her power utterly different from before.

Tracing her path through the river of time and the boundless starry sky was exceedingly difficult.

Had he not happened upon her, given the vastness of the stars, Lin Yan might never have found even a trace of her.

So the best course now was to follow her trail step by step.

Lin Yan also took this opportunity to observe certain characteristics of that era.

Thus, Lin Yan spent several more centuries observing her second location.

There, she absorbed another full ten thousand years' worth of starlight, then proceeded to her third destination.

Lin Yan located the position on the star chart and followed her there.

Time slipped away silently.

Of course, while observing her across endless eons, Lin Yan also attended to other matters.
