Chapter 170: Here They Come Again! The Lion Clan Warriors

The army of the City of Miracles could not match the Lion Clan's marching speed.

But all were warriors blessed by the Lord of Flame, their physical strength vastly superior to what they had been before.

Thus, just two days later, this forty-thousand-strong army had reached the former territory of the Cat Clan.

Immediately, scouts were sent out in all directions.

The Lion Clan also dispatched many scouts.

But the Lion Clan's scouts did not engage the City of Miracles' scouts; upon spotting them from afar, they simply avoided them.

Even if they wanted to fight, they couldn't win—because the City of Miracles' scouts were fully armored horsemen; in one-on-one combat, the equipment disadvantage was too great, and even being one rank higher made no difference, because they couldn't pierce the armor!
