Chapter 201: Princess Chenxi's Decision and Disappointment!

"Ah~~~"

The moment Lin Yan's flames erupted violently, Princess Chenxi let out a small gasp.

But very quickly, her face was covered in joy!

"It's fine!"

Princess Chenxi thought.

"Princess, that was amazing! Is this a battle between gods? That was terrifying!"

Beside her, Qingluan patted her chest, her face full of a barely-recovered fright.

In Qingluan's view, it really was terrifying.

In fact, not only was she startled.

Even those subterranean creatures by the black hole were startled, one and all.

Only now did these subterranean creatures realize that those flames were probably something extraordinary!

Perhaps even related to the gods!

Thus, quite a few subterranean creatures were already prostrate on the ground, their hearts filled with awe!

In fact, the moment Lin Yan's flames ignited, subterranean creatures had already been prostrating themselves; some subterranean creatures had even lain flat on the ground for an entire day!

Lin Yan also received the faith contributed by these subterranean creatures.

However, without a divine temple, the amount of such faith would be relatively small.

Take the City of Divine Monuments—now an ordinary fox-person could contribute nearly two points of faith-power to Lin Yan every day.

As for these subterranean creatures, although their faith had a direction, they knew only the god's might and not the god's name, and lacked a god's faith; in a day they could probably contribute only a fraction of a point of faith-power!

And as time went on, once they no longer intersected with Lin Yan, the faith-power would eventually drop directly to zero.

That's why a god's sect is so important!

These scattered subterranean creatures didn't even interest Lin Yan enough to pay attention to.

After taking in this wave of deliveries, Lin Yan's evolution points for leveling up to a Level Nine Undying Heavenly Flame had already reached half.

And the black flames used by the Abyss Demon God who had just clashed with him were also analyzed by the system, which transformed his eleventh-layer flame into black flames.

The function of the black flames was very special.

Once energy points were injected, the black flames would instantly erupt in a massive explosion.

Then the effect would be the same as before.

Freezing the surrounding energy!

Mm, the black flames mainly froze energy.

Of course, to achieve such a stunning effect as before—freezing all of Lin Yan's flames—the energy points injected would be an astronomical number.

Unless Lin Yan also used divine power to ignite it!

If Lin Yan's eleventh-layer black flames were revealed and burned normally, it wouldn't cost much in energy points.

Lin Yan's eleventh-layer flame was still his own flame in essence; it was just that the system had analyzed the characteristics of the black flames and then endowed the eleventh-layer flame with the traits of black flames.

Naturally, it would be more excellent and more convenient than the original black flames, and it was under Lin Yan's control!

After taking in a wave of deliveries, Lin Yan noticed that the Abyss Demon Gods using this Abyss to transmit power were growing fewer and fewer.

At this moment, Lin Yan sensed a kind of energy fluctuation coming from beneath the Abyss.

A wave of incomparably dark, chilling aura surged forth!

"The rift to the Abyss has opened!"

Lin Yan instantly knew the source of this energy fluctuation!

Yes, the rift to the Abyss had finally opened!

Lin Yan did not hesitate. He immediately retracted all his flames, then covered his outer flames with Abyss Demon Flames, and plunged down into the Abyss!

Lin Yan was going into the Abyss!

This was his original plan!

Even though Lin Yan had stolen so many Abyss Demon Gods' thunder this time, Lin Yan was not afraid!

How could those Abyss Demon Gods have anticipated a creature as peculiar as Lin Yan in this world.

Even if they knew Lin Yan was in the Abyss, they wouldn't be able to find him.

The Abyss was too vast.

These Abyss Demon Gods weren't omniscient and omnipotent!

In fact, their grasp of the situation across the entire Abyss wasn't all that great either!

"The Abyss rift will last half a month. For this half month, let me burn to my heart's content!"

Lin Yan murmured to himself.

Burning within the Abyss would consume a relatively large amount of energy points.

Unless Lin Yan burned everything using Abyss Demon Flames or black flames.

But many of the creatures in the Abyss were chaotic beings; in truth, they had no souls!

No souls—burn them with Abyss Demon Flames?
