Chapter 23: Female Mage VS Necromancer!

The mage wore a wide, black robe, with a small hood attached at the top.

The hood covered ta's face, making it impossible to tell ta's gender.

However, even though the black robe was very wide, one could still tell that the body wrapped inside it was very petite.

"This couldn't be a female mage, could it?"

Lin Yan muttered to himself.

Thinking of that field of bones, another thought popped into Lin Yan's head:

"She couldn't be a black mage, could she?"

Black mages study black magic, and the process of their research is especially perverse; they tend to like using dead bodies for their studies.

Some vicious black mages even kill people alive, using them to study their black magic.

Of course, there are many types of black mages as well.

It seemed she might have been chasing that black mage here.

Lin Yan controlled the flames to skirt around the field of bones, while he himself observed the situation from a burning tree.

This mage's control of the rain was only meant to stop the flames from entering the field of bones; she did not interfere much with the spread of the fire itself.

So she wouldn't kill people for no reason.

This field of bones wasn't very large, so whether it burned or not didn't matter much.

The moment the female mage's words fell, suddenly, a sinister voice rang out:

"I've only killed a few people. As a noble mage, do you really need to chase me to a place like this over the lives of a few ordinary people?"

Hearing this voice, the black-robed female mage's gaze sharpened, and she had already begun searching for the source of the sound.
