Chapter 452: As You Wished! Flame Burns the Divine!

On the ground, the battle raged fiercely!

Although the Hutton Kingdom was crushed at the start, its million-strong army had not yet collapsed so quickly.

They still had many intact battle formations.

The formations in the rear continued to pour forward, trying to reverse their disadvantage.

The divine avatar's pre-battle tactics greatly boosted the morale of the Hutton Kingdom's warriors, who had not seen the Three Holy Spirits slain.

After all, when the Three Holy Spirits had fought Princess Mengying, the ground below was about to descend into full-scale battle, and the warriors had focused all their attention on the battlefield, with few looking up at the sky.

"Hold firm! Our god watches over us from above!"

A formation commander continuously spurred morale with his words.

"Grip your weapons tightly, form ranks, do not scatter—stay steady! My god will grant us strength; even if you die bravely, you will be summoned into the divine realm and reborn!"

Behind the Hutton Kingdom's formations, church members used amplification magic to continually rally morale.

"Hold firm, hold firm! The beastmen's cavalry are coming! Point your spears forward, grip tight, lean your bodies forward, rear ranks rest your spears on the shoulders of the front ranks—don't panic! They no longer have those explosive spears! Aim your spears at them!"

In one formation, countless spears simultaneously pointed forward.

There, ten thousand heavily armored horsemen charged ahead with explosive spears, piercing through one Hutton Kingdom formation and forming a wedge as they surged toward this one!

The warriors in the formation could clearly see that the foremost rider was a horseman of extraordinary bulk—this horseman no longer carried an explosive spear.

In fact, after successive battles, it had lost even its lance, wielding only a long blade and a shield.

The horseman held its shield in one hand and its blade in the other, charging unhesitatingly toward the spear formation of ten thousand warriors; behind it, more horsemen formed a sharp wedge, following closely in its wake.

Closer, closer!

As the horsemen galloped, their heavy footsteps thundered, and their thick armor clanged loudly with each stride.

Their towering bodies, as they charged, appeared immensely strong and powerful—some warriors, despite holding spears over ten meters long tipped with exquisitely sharp spearheads, felt no sense of safety.

Sweat even dripped from some warriors' hands!

"Hold firm!"

The commander's voice kept echoing.

For a formation facing a heavy cavalry charge, those two words were paramount: Hold firm!

The commander's voice had effect—these warriors were well-trained; they leaned forward, braced their feet, gripped their spears in the most stable posture, the spear butts planted firmly on the ground.

Only thus could they withstand the impact of heavy cavalry—and the even more terrifying charge of the horsemen!

Then, the foremost horsemen raised their shields and slammed into the spear formation at unstoppable speed.

"Crack!"

A chorus of cracking sounds erupted at the front of the formation.

Followed immediately by the screams of several warriors.

The horseman had simply shattered the spears before it, crashed into the formation, and flung the two front-line warriors flying!

The force was beyond imagination!

The hardness of its armor was equally beyond imagination!

The exquisitely forged spearheads could not pierce its armor!

"Crack!"

Then, more horsemen slammed into the formation.

A multitude of spear shafts snapped at the front of the formation.

The spearheads were indeed hard enough.

But since they could not pierce the horsemen's armor, the spears could only break.

Even after exhausting their explosive spears, this formation bristling with spears could not halt the horsemen's charge.

"Ahh～～"

One warrior, flung skyward, saw a brilliant flash of light in the heavens!

"My god has acted!"
