Chapter 55: Lava Flame! Dwarf Little Girl!

Lin Yan ran toward that direction.

Then he saw, in the magma, a small cluster of flames burning fiercely.

This cluster of flames was clearly different from the flames that occasionally spouted from the volcanic crater.

The flames that occasionally burned in the volcanic crater were produced when certain components in the magma separated from oxygen and ignited.

But within the magma itself, there were no flames.

Yet this cluster of flames, like Lin Yan, burned within the magma.

Flames within the magma!

Moreover, this cluster of flames contained considerable energy.

Of course, it was still nowhere near Lin Yan's level.

"The system's beginner guide said I could gain evolution points by consuming other flames—could this be one of those other flames?"

Lin Yan muttered to himself.

Other flames naturally did not refer to ordinary burning flames, but to special flames.

On the Continent of Gods, there were many special flames, generated in unique environments, but they were extremely rare and could only exist within those specific conditions!

And this small cluster of flames was precisely such a special flame.

Lin Yan did not hesitate—he lunged forward.

The small flame had no consciousness of its own, but sensing Lin Yan's approach, it somehow knew to flee.

Yet how could it possibly escape?

Lin Yan successfully consumed the small flame.

The small flame offered not the slightest resistance against Lin Yan.

"You consumed Lava Flame. Evolution points +1000."

The system's notification chimed.

A full 1000 evolution points!

Additionally, Lin Yan gained tens of millions of energy points.

This harvest was even greater than Lin Yan's previous one from burning the wasteland!

"Let's see if there are any other flames."

Lin Yan muttered to himself.

He circled around within the magma reservoir.

This volcano was indeed small.

The magma reservoir lay more than ten kilometers beneath the Misty Ranges—hardly large at all.

After circling for a long time, Lin Yan found no second Lava Flame.

Just as Lin Yan was about to leave, a small opening opened beside him.

Magma was already under pressure; otherwise, the volcano would not have erupted.

As soon as the small opening opened, magma flowed out under pressure.

Curious, Lin Yan followed the magma flowing through the opening.

This magma flowed into a narrow passage, traveled dozens of meters, then poured out through a small square doorway.

Then Lin Yan heard the "ding-dong" sound of hammering.

He activated his Probe Eye and saw he was now inside a vast hall.

The spacious hall contained numerous furnaces and iron tools.

This was unmistakably a smelting hall!

Inside the hall, many short-statured figures were busily working.

These figures were very short, yet each swung massive iron hammers.

From the rock wall, the earlier small opening poured out vast amounts of magma, which flowed into a giant pool.

"Could these be dwarves?"

Lin Yan muttered to himself.

He never imagined that deep within the Misty Ranges, right beside the volcanic magma reservoir, there were so many dwarves!

These dwarves appeared to be using the magma reservoir to forge weapons!

"Hurry up, hurry up! Bring up all the Fire Crystal Stones—see if they can attract the Lava Flame inside the magma; the melting of this A Piece of the Heavenly Realm meteoric iron depends on it!"

At that moment, a crisp, clear voice rang out.

Immediately after, a little girl rushed in.

No, she wasn't like a little girl.

Little girls don't have figures that fiery.
