Chapter 655

Tomorrow's thousand-year birthday celebration would begin, and even on the Gods Continent, a thousand-year birthday carried enormous significance.

Those who could live a thousand years were exceedingly rare, and emperors who lived a thousand years were rarer still.

So every person in the Eternal Night Empire took it very seriously.

Everyone was busy.

Only one person was not.

That was the Emperor of the Eternal Night Empire.

The Emperor of the Eternal Night Empire was exceedingly mysterious.

The Emperor rarely appeared before the public, and had not held a morning court for a thousand years.

Nevertheless, the operation of the Eternal Night Empire was not affected in the slightest.

At this moment, the Emperor sat within a deep palace, separated by a curtain, listening to a female official's report.

Behind the heavy curtain, the Emperor's appearance could not be seen at all.

"Reporting to Your Majesty, all twenty-eight dukes of the Empire have arrived, the kings of the fifteen kingdoms around the Empire have all reached, the three kingdoms to the east have merged into one small empire called the Flame Empire, and the Flame Empire's queen has already reached the Imperial Capital. According to the report from the Purple Smoke Pavilion, the Flame Empire possesses legendary-level combat power."

The female official said.

"The Flame Empire?"

At this moment, from behind the curtain came a cool, clear voice.

Only, this voice was a woman's!

The Emperor of the Eternal Night Empire was, to everyone's astonishment, a female emperor!

"Yes, Your Majesty. According to what the Purple Smoke Pavilion has learned, the Flame Empire should have been established only half a year ago."

The female official said.

"Cuiyan, send someone to deliver an invitation to the Flame Empire's queen, inviting her to the imperial palace. I shall host a banquet to entertain her."
