Chapter 672

Just now Annie had expressed her wish to continue following the Eldest Princess to study, and she was also curious about the Flame Empire, even willing to go there to study.

The Eldest Princess agreed.

So Annie has now completely become the Eldest Princess's little follower.

The Eldest Princess's words instantly ignited these nobles.

"The first batch of goods isn't much—no good. Steward, send a magic letter immediately, have my second son ride a flying magical beast, and bring ten million gold coins in a magic pouch to the border of the eastern Flame Empire. Buy as much as you can!"

An Earl immediately ordered his steward.

"Carlos, quick, through your younger brother, take a flying ship with all the family's gold coins to buy. Buy as much silk and porcelain as you can, buy all the rest in wine. You must be fast."

Another Hou Jue ordered his descendant.

For this thousand-year birthday celebration, these nobles had each brought one or two people along to attend.

So, after hearing the Eldest Princess say the first batch of goods wasn't much, these nobles grew anxious one by one.

He ordered someone to notify the family, dispatch flying ships, bring magic pouches and gold coins, and head to the Flame Empire's border to purchase goods!

Whoever was faster would seize the first opportunity to buy.

One must understand that when the first batch of goods arrived at the Eternal Night Empire, it would surely cause a great sensation and could be sold at a higher price!

From this, one can see the difference between the great nobles of the Eternal Night Empire and the current great nobles of the Flame Empire.

The current great nobles of the Flame Empire are mostly Earls and the like, and many don't even have magic pouches.

But the great nobles who could attend the thousand-year birthday celebration—even Earls—almost all had magic pouches in their families.

Among these great nobles, quite a few also possessed flying ships!

Flying ships are indeed slow to build, but the Eternal Night Empire, as a thousand-year great empire, has accumulated over generations. The nobles are not only wealthy; quite a few great nobles do possess flying ships.

Of course, the number of large flying ships is still quite small—the construction cost is too expensive, and ordinary alchemy workshops don't have the capability to build them.

Many great nobles of the Eternal Night Empire conduct trade not by relying on horse-drawn carriages, but on magic pouches and some flying ships.

Combining magic pouches with flying magical beasts, the efficiency is quite high.

In the Eternal Night Empire, the breeding of flying magical beasts has long been industrialized, and nobles can purchase flying magical beasts as long as they have gold coins.

In terms of efficiency, the nobles of the Eternal Night Empire are far ahead.

Of course, once the flying ships produced in the Flame Empire can meet military needs, civilian purchase will be opened up. By then, the nobles and great merchants of the Flame Empire will likely be able to catch up with the nobles of the Eternal Night Empire.

On this day, in the capital of the Eternal Night Empire, several thousand magic letters were burned at the same time.

Immediately after, large numbers of flying magical beasts and flying ships flew out from the territories of various great nobles of the Eternal Night Empire, heading toward the Flame Empire.

They all advanced at full speed, racing against time, each wanting to snatch the first batch of goods released by the Flame Empire!
