Chapter 692: Vivera

~5 min read 1,000 words

"Gassia, slip away quietly and investigate who's inquiring about the Flame Lord's whereabouts. Take some Five Phoenix Flower Fruits in exchange for some Starfall Stones—be careful, don't let anyone notice."

In the Divine Realm, Vivera summoned a small fairy and said.

This little fairy was also the strongest among all the fairies in the Divine Realm.

She had once been the chieftain of an elf tribe thousands of years ago, and after her lifespan reached its limit, Vivera guided her into the Divine Realm, making her one of Vivera's most important combat assets now.

The little fairy named Gassia received Vivera's order, flapped her tiny wings, and flew out of the Divine Realm.

After sending off Gassia, Vivera looked again at Lin Yan.

Lin Yan was still sitting by the lake covered in flowers, whose unique fragrance, when inhaled over long periods, brought joy to the heart and strengthened even the will of a god.

This was how the Divine Realm worked—every single thing within it had its purpose.

Vivera thought for a moment, reached out, and tore open a passage with a single motion, then stepped inside.

Here, it was still a valley bathed in holy light, filled with blooming flowers.

The difference was that among these flowers, many plants had borne fruit.

This place was the core region of Vivera's Divine Realm, where she stored her most precious treasures.

This valley remained within the Divine Realm, but unless Vivera wished it, no one could discover it—unless someone destroyed the entire Divine Realm.

Vivera walked to a fruit, gently plucked it, and took it into her hand.

These fruits were not actually grown by the plants themselves.

They were other, far rarer fruits that Vivera preserved this way to prevent their energy from dissipating.

Vivera held the fruit in her hand, sniffed it, and murmured to herself:

"There should be some benefits."

Saying this, she tossed the fruit into a space she had casually opened beside her.

Vivera rarely carried valuable items with her; she always stored them within her Divine Realm.

This was also the practice of many gods in the Heavenly Realm.

When a god engaged in divine war, the clash of divine powers and laws could cause a god's storage space to burst.

But a Divine Realm was different—many gods had perished, yet their Divine Realms still endured eternally.

The Heavenly Realm was filled with countless stars, each representing the projection of a god's Divine Realm, and among them, the number of Divine Realms belonging to fallen gods was immense.

Vivera walked slowly, selecting fruits as she went.

Occasionally, she would pluck one or two flowers and store them away.

Among the flower beds, she occasionally found one or two special treasures.

Such as a crystal-clear stone.

Such as some divine substances.

She had buried these divine substances underground, intending to keep them for her own future use—but this time, she dug them all up.

No one knew what she planned to do.

She spent quite some time selecting here.

Hmm, she was indeed a little rich girl, with no shortage of good things.

Possessing a Grade 9 Divine Core and Divine Body, she was a powerful god among the second-tier deities, and her status in the Heavenly Realm was far from low.

Though becoming a god was difficult, the Divine Continent was vast beyond measure, and once a god achieved divinity, their lifespan was infinite—over countless eons, the number of gods was far from small.

After half a day, Vivera finally stepped out of the valley where her treasures were stored.

"Still missing quite a few things."

Vivera thought.

After thinking, Vivera summoned a large number of fairies and assigned each of them tasks, sending them out to purchase what she needed.

To buy these items, Vivera gave the fairies a large quantity of treasures, instructing them to exchange them.

"If something can be exchanged directly, do so. If not, use Divine Stones to buy it—I don't have many Divine Stones, so use them sparingly."

Vivera told her fairies.

The fairies nodded in unison—they were Vivera's most loyal servants and would never betray her.

The fairies flew out of the Divine Realm one after another.

Vivera thought again and contacted another elf-goddess, the Wind Goddess Mevis.

In the Heavenly Realm, gods each held their own territories—these were called Divine Domains.

The elf-goddesses lived relatively close to one another.

This was partly for mutual support.

Though gods spent most of their time within their own Divine Realms, Divine Domains still held great importance—somewhat like noble lands, except they contained no population.

Gods valued them for their resources.

The Heavenly Realm was rich in treasures, but resources within any one region were relatively limited.

Thus, controlling a larger Divine Domain meant the potential to gather more resources.

Within the elf-goddesses' domain, Vivera and Mevis were close friends.

"Mevis, do you still have a thousand-year Tianluo Fruit?"

Vivera asked.

Though the Tianluo Fruit was miraculous, Vivera's Divine Realm could sustain at most one such plant—any more would burden it.

Mevis replied: "I still have one stored. Why, Vivera?"

Vivera said: "Mevis, could you sell it to me? I need it badly—name your price."

Mevis said: "Of course, Vivera. Just give me one high-grade Divine Stone."

Vivera showed gratitude, for Mevis's price was absurdly cheap—practically a giveaway.

"Thank you, Mevis, I still need a few Azure Vine leaves — I see you have some planted…"

Vivira added.

"Sure, Vivira, don't mention it. You helped me out last time too. I'll gather everything you need for you, though there are a few items I don't have — you should ask the others for those."

Mevis said.

Every elven-type goddess plants different varieties of celestial plants in her own divine realm.

However, different celestial plants have different properties, and the varieties must be matched well, or they will place an enormous burden on the divine realm.

So for elven-type goddesses, the plants grown in each goddess's divine realm are all different.
