Chapter 696

"First, stabilize it, then move to the next stage."

Vevila suggested.

Lin Yan agreed.

"I'll help you."

Vevila acted again, sparing no divine power to help Lin Yan stabilize his divine body.

Two days later, Lin Yan swallowed another light orb marked with the number "6."

His divine body quickly rose to level 6.

Vevila acted again, helping Lin Yan stabilize his divine body.

Her consumption was substantial, yet she showed no sign of it—her expression remained calm and detached.

Two more days passed, and Lin Yan swallowed another light orb marked with the number "7."

Vevila's preparations were thorough.

Ascending level by level like this was not only fast but also highly cohesive.

Hmm, as long as the divine rank is high enough and resources are sufficient, the divine body can naturally be shaped this way.

Of course, this stabilization is only preliminary.

In the end, Lin Yan will still need to spend considerable time to fully stabilize it.

Lin Yan's formidable divine rank also played a significant role here.

Otherwise, the interval between swallowing orbs wouldn't be two days—it would be several days, even ten or fifteen days or more.

"Just as I thought."

Seeing this, Vevila became even more certain of her guess.

If Lin Yan were an ordinary deity, even after consuming what Vevila prepared, he'd need at least three days to digest each orb, and another dozens of days to stabilize his divine body.

To finish all six orbs would take at least half a year.

But Lin Yan had already reached the sixth orb in just fifteen days!

The only thing this speed could indicate was:

Lin Yan's former rank was truly high!

After one experience, the second time becomes second nature.

That's why Lin Yan could move so fast!

Thinking of this, Vevila felt her efforts were worthwhile.

She wanted to help Lin Yan return to his peak.

As for whether there would be any return…

Vevila hadn't even considered that!

Right now, her mind was entirely occupied with worry that the third-tier human deity might come looking for him.

No, she wasn't worried about her own safety—she was worried about Lin Yan's.

So she only wanted Lin Yan to grow stronger, quickly.

Strong enough before his enemies found him.

As for returns… those two words had never even entered her mind!

Fifteen days passed, and Lin Yan's divine body had reached level 9!

Then, Lin Yan swallowed the sixth light orb Vevila had prepared.

After the contents of this orb were fully absorbed, Lin Yan's divine body did not rise to level 10.

"Just a little short!"

Vevila said with regret.

She had already used up all her collection, but the resources needed to leap from level 5 to level 10 were enormous.

Moreover, the resource demand of Lin Yan's divine body had exceeded Vevila's expectations.

Lin Yan opened his eyes, looked at Vevila, and said, "Vevila, thank you."

Vevila quickly shook her head and said, "No need. My divine realm is still relatively safe—stay here and continue stabilizing your divine body. I'll see if I can gather more things to raise your divine body to level 10."

In Vevila's view, Lin Yan needed a level 10 divine body to face a third-tier deity.

Level 9 wouldn't do.

A level 9 divine body lacked both sufficient strength and the ability to fully unleash the advanced divine power within a high-tier divine rank.

Lin Yan asked, "Vevila, in the Heavenly Realm, what do you normally use for trade?"

Vevila said, "If both parties have something the other needs, they barter directly; any surplus is made up with divine stones. If neither side has what the other needs, they must buy with divine stones—but generally, divine stones are avoided unless absolutely necessary."

Lin Yan asked, "Why?"

Vevila said, "Because divine stones are formed from faith energy. There's still plenty of resources in the Heavenly Realm—if you send out enough people, you can find some treasures. But faith energy is precious to every deity, so most deities are reluctant to exchange things for divine stones unless the item is exceptionally valuable."

Lin Yan nodded.

He looked at the faith energy within his divine rank.

His divine rank was transformed from a virtual one, and its attributes appeared on the system's interface.

Lin Yan's current faith energy was terrifyingly abundant!

The faith energy belonging to Heavenly Realm deities had already exceeded one hundred billion points!

And its growth rate was accelerating further.

According to Lin Yan's divine rank calculations, an ordinary mortal believer contributes one point of faith energy per day.

A devout ordinary believer can contribute two to three points.

The stronger the person, the more faith energy they contribute.

A First-Rank warrior can contribute ten times the faith power of an ordinary person.

And if they are a devout Holy Realm devotee… one person rivals an entire kingdom!

This is why the gods of Heaven desperately seek to attract Holy Realm followers.

Lin Yan currently has three devout Holy Realm followers in reality.

Of course, two of them are Abyss Succubi, providing only Dark Faith.

But his Holy Maiden Mengying's faith power is terrifyingly strong.

Moreover, Lin Yan has several Legendary Holy Maidens.

And a vast number of Eighth-Rank Holy Maidens.

Now, the total population of the Flame Empire has exceeded three hundred million!

The Elf Empire also has over a million powerful elves—though few in number, their strength more than compensates.

Among them, the number of elves who worship Lin Yan has approached one million.

These elves all possess Third or Fourth Rank strength, and their daily contribution of faith power is terrifying.

Calculating this way, Lin Yan now receives over one billion faith points daily, nearing fifteen billion!

That's forty to fifty billion points per month!

At the rate of one hundred fifty thousand faith points exchanged for one divine point, Lin Yan can convert nearly ten thousand divine points daily!

This is terrifyingly powerful!

"Vivian, how do you create Divine Stones using faith power?"

Lin Yan asked.

"The method is simple—I'll teach you."

Vivian said.

Saying this, she extended her hand and pulled out a large amount of faith power from her Divine Core.

Then, Vivian removed the directional intent from this faith power.

These faith points were directed toward her; if the directionality isn't cleared, others cannot use them.

Only the god themselves can remove this directionality—others may remove it too, but it would be wasteful.

After removing the directionality, Vivian gently tapped, condensing all the faith power into one mass, then stabilized its outer edge with a small amount of energy, forming it into shape.

"That's it—this is a Low-Level Divine Stone, containing faith power equivalent to one hundred thousand ordinary people's annual faith."

Vivian handed the Low-Level Divine Stone to Lin Yan and said.

All faith power within Divine Stones is calculated by the standard of an ordinary person's faith—this is the unified measurement.

Lin Yan took the Divine Stone and sensed its energy.

Immediately, Lin Yan felt something unusual.
