Chapter 963

At this time, in the Eternal Night Empire, the great battle continued.

Meanwhile, the Flame Empire's army, traveling at full speed on flying ships, crossed the wild wasteland in less than a day and reached the border of the southern kingdom of the Star Luo Empire.

"All vessels ascend to high altitude!"

Meng Ying gave the order.

All flying ships began to rise, entering above the clouds.

Immediately afterward, large numbers of Archmages and Forbidden Spell Mages flew out to clear the way ahead for the entire fleet!

This fleet was exceptionally massive.

The fleet consisted primarily of large troop transports and flying warships.

These large troop transports had astonishing capacity—each could carry over ten thousand warriors at once.

Of course, if carrying Orc warriors, the number would be fewer, as Orc warriors were larger and took up more space.

The fleet had more than two hundred troop transports altogether.

And the number of flying warships exceeded five hundred!

Each flying warship carried over two hundred warriors, responsible for operating the ship's numerous heavy crossbows, while even more warriors were dedicated solely to praying for Explosive Flame.

The Explosive Flame required by the flying ships' crossbows placed a heavy burden on spiritual energy; a warrior needed considerable rest after praying just once or twice.

As a great empire, the Star Luo Empire maintained numerous flying beast squads patrolling at low altitudes to guard against aerial enemies.

Similarly, in the high skies above the Star Luo Empire, powerful mages stood on alert.

However, the Star Luo Empire's territory was too vast, and it could only defend key cities.

The Archmages extended their surveillance range hundreds of kilometers outward, minimizing the chance of the fleet being detected early.

"There is a Forbidden Spell Mage on alert within the cloud mass ahead, located five hundred li directly north of the fleet—he has already noticed us, but I explained we were merely passing through, and he did not become suspicious."

At this moment, in the north, an Archmage burned a magical letter.

Upon receiving this magical letter, the Crown Princess personally departed and soon arrived beyond the cloud mass.

The Forbidden Spell Mage hidden within the cloud mass did not detect the Crown Princess.

The Crown Princess had already spotted him.

The Crown Princess began to prepare a subtle attack.

A few seconds later, the Forbidden Spell Mage inside the cloud mass sensed something amiss.

"Magic fluctuation!"

His face turned pale.

But it was too late.

The Crown Princess's spell evaporated the entire cloud mass!

The Forbidden Spell Mage inside was killed outright, without even sending a single message.

Using this method, the Flame Empire's fleet moved silently and swiftly toward the core region of the Star Luo Empire.

Above the fleet, on a finely crafted flying ship, Meng Ying stood gracefully at the bow, gazing at the entire armada.

On another dedicated flying ship, the Elder Lady of the Zi Yun Empire was present.

In fact, another Saint Domain of the Zi Yun Empire had also been conscripted and was now aboard a flying ship below.

On the Elder Lady's flying ship, the veiled maiden Luo Yi was curious about Meng Ying.

In maiden Luo Yi's perception, Meng Ying seemed to be about the same age as herself, yet Meng Ying was a powerful Second Rank Saint Domain, and also the queen of a mighty empire!

This empire belonged to a Fourth-Tier deity!

As a disciple of a Saint Domain, maiden Luo Yi already held considerable status on the Continent of Gods, receiving courtesy wherever she went.

But compared to Meng Ying, she was vastly inferior!

Another day passed, and a lady-in-waiting delivered a report:

"Your Majesty, we are one hundred kilometers away—the capital of the Star Luo Empire is ahead."

The Crown Princess also returned at this time.
