Chapter 198: Illegal Workshop!

Night, Goddess Bar.

Gu Shiyan was sitting at the bar, chatting with Lin Yuan.

These past few days, she has almost come to the bar every night to accompany Lin Yuan.

Inside the bar's dance floor, explosive music swept through, and countless young men and women were wildly dancing to the explosive beat.

Suddenly, in the dance floor, several patrons had drunk too much and began vomiting violently.

Lin Yuan, as the bar's health doctor, rushed over immediately to help the patrons sober up.

Lin Yuan fed the patrons his herbal sobering tea.

After drinking his sobering tea, the patrons quickly sobered up.

But tonight, after these patrons drank his sobering tea, they not only failed to sober up; their consciousness remained hazy, and they muttered to themselves—this feeling… was strange?

It was as if… they had taken drugs?

Lin Yuan repeatedly examined the patrons' bodies, carefully feeling their pulses, and finally, his face suddenly changed!

Lin Yuan hurriedly picked up their bottles and gave them a sniff.

A rich, pungent alcohol smell.

But beneath this alcohol smell, there seemed to be a hidden, special aura…

"Quick! Go tell Manager An to come down!" Lin Yuan shouted at the nearby security guard.

Soon, An Yunxi from upstairs hurried downstairs, pushing through the crowded dance floor to reach Lin Yuan's side.

"What's going on?" An Yunxi asked, her beautiful eyes slightly furrowed.

Lin Yuan settled the intoxicated patrons, then leaned close to An Yunxi's ear and whispered, "This alcohol is problematic—it's fake, containing industrial alcohol! So after drinking it, they will have severe reactions!"

"Swish!" An Yunxi's pretty face suddenly changed, "How can you be sure?"

"I've studied Chinese medicine; I can tell the smell of fake alcohol at a whiff. I won't be wrong." Lin Yuan said solemnly.

An Yunxi's face turned grave!

How could there be fake alcohol, even mixed with industrial alcohol, in this bar's foreign liquor??

She now needed to determine whether only this bottle was fake, or whether all the liquor in the entire bar was fake.

An Yunxi immediately brought Lin Yuan to the customers at the other tables.

"Sorry, we're doing a liquor feedback tonight, letting the bartender smell the alcohol to improve the formula. May we have you sample the liquor from our mixing bottles?"

An Yunxi apologetically said to the customers.

The customers didn't refuse either, after all, An Yunxi's fearsome reputation was known, and no one dared to offend her.

An Yunxi had Lin Yuan pick up the bottles and continue smelling.

Lin Yuan went from table to table smelling, and his expression grew worse and worse.

Every table's foreign liquor was fake, mixed with industrial alcohol.

Ordinary people can't detect this industrial alcohol smell, but Lin Yuan can!

Lin Yuan told An Yunxi the results, and her pretty face suddenly changed.

Mixed with industrial alcohol, the cost of fake liquor can be made extremely low—one bottle might cost only a few dollars, yet it can sell for hundreds or even thousands!

This is simply a super profitable venture!

"Sister An, when was this batch of liquor purchased?" Lin Yuan asked solemnly.

An Yunxi replied, "Our bar's liquor is purchased and received the same day. This batch is the latest purchase."

Lin Yuan said solemnly, "Quickly pull up the surveillance to see if there's any problem with the purchaser's vehicle and personnel!"

Lin Yuan hurriedly went with An Yunxi to check the surveillance!

Upon checking, they indeed discovered the problem!

Today, the purchaser's vehicle for the bar is not the same as before!

In other words, today's purchaser is an impostor!

An Yunxi hastily called the purchaser to inquire about the situation.

The purchaser replied, "Manager An, wasn't it an employee from your bar who called saying you don't need to purchase liquor today?"

An Yunxi's pretty face suddenly changed!

She realized someone had deliberately swapped the foreign liquor, replacing the genuine article with fake!

This is an attempt to frame their bar!

At this moment, all the foreign liquor in the Goddess Bar is fake!

This, the situation has become serious!

Fake liquor, especially when mixed with industrial alcohol, is a serious offense!

"The other party deliberately gave us fake liquor; their only goal must be… to ruin our bar!" An Yunxi said coldly.

"So, the other party would probably… call the police?" An Yunxi and Lin Yuan speculated.

Thinking of this outcome, both of their faces changed.

If the police are called, the Goddess Bar providing so much toxic liquor cannot avoid responsibility.

The entire bar will be shut down!

Even An Yunxi and the bar's staff will be taken away for investigation! They might even end up in prison!

Within Yanxia, selling fake liquor carries a heavy sentence!

"Sister An, don't panic! They won't call the police so quickly! The bar's business hasn't peaked yet—it's only 9 p. m., and there aren't many customers. Even if they want to call the police, they'll surely wait until our bar's peak hours, around midnight, to do so. We still have three hours!" Lin Yuan reminded solemnly.

"What do you have in mind?" An Yunxi asked.

Lin Yuan said in a low voice, "Since the other party wants to frame us, they must have planted a spy in our bar to lurk and secretly monitor our situation. I'll go down, find the spy, and then follow the vine to melon…"

Lin Yuan whispered in An Yunxi's ear.

An Yunxi's beautiful eyes narrowed as she nodded, saying, 'Good, we must seize the moment! We don't have much time—only three hours!'

After three hours, at midnight 12:00, the bar's business will reach peak customer flow, and they will surely call the police.

By then, the Goddess Bar will be completely finished.

……

Lin Yuan had already gone downstairs by then.

He kept weaving through the crowd of customers.

Lin Yuan's gaze was cold as he swept over every customer in the bar.

Traditional Chinese medicine—observation, listening, questioning, palpation… Lin Yuan now spread his visual awareness, carefully observing each customer's facial micro-expressions.

Traditional Chinese medicine is not merely pulse-taking and acupuncture.

In the TCM system, there is still a most important link, namely… the 'observation' part of observation, listening, questioning, and palpation.

So-called observation simply means observing with the eyes!

In the TCM system, observation is one of the most important links.

Through naked-eye observation, observe the other's mental state, facial micro-expressions, subtle movements of the five senses, details of their actions, capturing any detail.

Thus, one can discern many signs of the other's illnesses.

At this moment, Lin Yuan was using the 'observation' of the four examinations to observe the facial micro-expressions of every customer in the bar.

He used this method to screen for hidden eyeline spies.

Finally, as Lin Yuan's gaze swept over a table of customers in the corner, his eyes narrowed.

At that table were six men.

These six men sat at the bar booth, chatting and laughing while drinking.

They seemed leisurely, but their eyes remained vigilantly scanning the surroundings.

They appeared to be observing the customer flow situation inside the bar.

Moreover, while they were drinking, their raised cups clearly had not taken a sip.

It was obvious they knew the liquor contained industrial alcohol.

So they deliberately refrained from drinking!

Target locked!

Lin Yuan pretended nothing was wrong as he brushed past those six men.

At that moment, those six also watched him warily.

After all, he is the priest of the Goddess Bar; they must be wary.

Just as Lin Yuan brushed past the six, he suddenly spun around!

In a flash, he grabbed one man's head and slammed it hard onto the wine table!

"Bang!" That man was knocked out cold.

Meanwhile, the others' faces suddenly changed, and they sprang up in terror!

"Bang!" Lin Yuan struck with lightning speed, a knifehand strike hitting one man; he didn't even have time to grunt before collapsing on the spot.

"Bang! Bang bang!" Lin Yuan's strikes flew fast; in the blink of an eye, four knifehand blows felled the remaining four…

……

These six didn't know how long they'd been unconscious—"Zizzle!" Suddenly a high-voltage current's searing pain jolted them awake!

The six opened their eyes in horror, only to discover… they had already been bound.

They glanced around in fear and saw Priest Lin Yuan, Goddess Bar Manager An Yunxi—both present!

The six men's faces drastically changed!

Had their whereabouts been exposed?

"Speak, who sent you?!" An Yunxi demanded coldly, gripping a high-voltage electric baton in her hand.

The six gritted their teeth—none spoke; they all pretended to be dead.

An Yunxi directly subjected the six to electric torture!

But these six were tight-lipped; no matter how An Yunxi applied the electric baton, they refused to talk!

"An Sis, let me handle it." Lin Yuan suddenly said.

He stepped forward slowly, raised his hand, and several toothpicks plunged directly into the six men's collarbone areas!

"Ugh…!" The six screamed in pain and terror!

At the collarbone position, there is a Vital Chamber point; this point is a lethal point.

Lin Yuan's toothpicks pierced the Vital Chamber points of several, causing them to howl ferociously in agony!

"Speak, who sent you and what is your purpose?" Lin Yuan asked coldly.

Yet these few still clenched their mouths and refused to speak.

Lin Yuan raised his hand again, inserting several more toothpicks into other acupoints of them, and the six collapsed in anguish!

The excruciating pain of the TCM acupoints far surpasses that of the electric baton!

This is a heart‑piercing, bone‑deep torment!

Finally, under Lin Yuan's TCM interrogation, the six broke down and all confessed.

"We… we are from Changsheng Group… sent by Chang Dong…"

The six revealed their entire plan for tonight!

As An Yunxi had anticipated, these six eyeliners were preparing to call the police tonight!

They deliberately swapped the Goddess Bar's foreign liquor with counterfeit alcohol laced with industrial alcohol, then planned to report it after midnight!

They wanted the anti‑narcotics squad to move in and take down the Goddess Bar in one swoop!

An Yunxi's pretty face turned icy cold!

Chang Jinghe!

Sure enough, it's him!

Lin Yuan again interrogated the six people: "These fake liquors, where did you smuggle them from? Where did the industrial alcohol inside come from?!"

The six people trembled and confessed: "The industrial alcohol in these liquors…… is…… is from Chang Dong's foreign trade company…… Chang Dong has his own liquor factory business under his name, he has been secretly operating…… He mixed his own industrial alcohol into these foreign liquors…… wanting to frame you all for selling fake liquor……"

"Where are Chang Jinghe's liquor factory warehouses?!" Lin Yuan followed the lead and continued asking!

The six people trembled, not daring to confess!

If they speak out, Chang Jinghe will definitely not let them go!

But Lin Yuan again used a toothpick, viciously stabbing it into several people's academic degrees.

"Ugh ah!!" The six people burst into miserable wails, they finally despaired, trembling and confessed: "We only know one of Chang Dong's warehouse addresses…… it's, it's behind the Longjing Mountain tea garden at Xi Hu…… there's an air-raid shelter…… inside are all Chang Dong's fake liquor factories……"

Lin Yuan and An Yunxi exchanged a glance, their faces solemn!

He obtained an important clue!

Chang Jinghe's fake liquor factory!

"Mobilize people immediately! Follow me to the tea garden at Dragon Well Mountain!" An Yunxi immediately gave the order! Prepare to dispatch troops!!

Lin Yuan however said: "An sister, you bring people to stay at the bar, guarantee the bar's operation safety! That tea garden, I alone am enough! More people would be dangerous, would scare the snake! I'll go alone, secretly gather evidence, then I'll withdraw! Then report to police!"

This matter involves the production and sale of fake liquor. Moreover it involves framing!

The Goddess Bar wants to clear its name, can only first obtain evidence, then report to police.

Only then can the suspicion be cleared.

An Yunxi hearing this, her face changed: "No! You going alone is too dangerous! That's the entire fake liquor factory!"

Lin Yuan said solemnly: "It's fine, An sister, I'll sneak in secretly, won't be discovered, rest assured. Our time is already short, we must obtain evidence before three hours!"

Finally, under Lin Yuan's insistence, An Yunxi could only nod.

At this time, there were only a little over two hours left.

"You drive my car go! Remember, pay attention to safety! Once evidence is obtained, withdraw immediately!" An Yunxi reminded!

Lin Yuan nodded, he took the BMW car key, turned and walked out of the Goddess Bar!
