Chapter 45: Tower of Heaven

The day after completing the Rubinas City mission, Ye Yu and Erza's group took the train back to Magnolia Town.

"Revived!"

Natsu, having just gotten off the train, raised his hand and shouted excitedly.

And Happy, following behind, imitated Natsu's action and shouted: "Aye!"

Erza, who was walking with Ye Yu, Gray, and Lucy at the very back, saw Natsu, who had been a pile of mud a second ago, now full of energy, and couldn't help but shake her head.

Just as everyone had walked out of the train station, a golden-haired young man wearing a black suit walked directly toward Ye Yu.

The golden-haired young man acted as if he didn't see Natsu in front of him and walked directly into Natsu.

Fortunately, Natsu dodged quickly; otherwise, they would have really collided.

"That guy..."

Natsu stopped and turned to look at the golden-haired young man.

Happy asked, "Natsu, do you know him?"

Natsu shook his head and replied, "Don't know him!"

Subsequently, under Natsu and Happy's gaze, the golden-haired young man walked up to Ye Yu and the others and stopped.

To be precise, he stopped in front of Erza.

When the golden-haired young man looked up, Erza's beautiful face changed, and she shouted in a surprised tone: "Sho?!"

And the golden-haired young man also said to Erza: "Long time no see, sister!"

Sister?!

Hearing the golden-haired young man's address, Lucy and Gray were both astonished.

"Erza, is this man your younger brother?"

Gray looked at the man named Sho in front of him and asked Erza in surprise.

To Gray's question, Erza didn't answer, but instead had an expression of unspeakable difficulty.

This was the first time Gray had seen Erza reveal such an expression.

Since Erza didn't want to talk about it, Gray didn't want to pursue it further.

Perhaps Gray and Lucy didn't know the man named Sho in front of them.

But Ye Yu knew.

Although Sho called Erza sister, in reality, he was just Erza's childhood companion.

It was similar to the relationship between Natsu and Erza now.

In the original story, when Erza and Lucy and the others were vacationing at the beach, Sho and Simon and the other childhood companions of Erza suddenly appeared and directly captured Erza to the Tower of Heaven where Jellal was.

Although the time and place of Sho appearing in front of Erza now were a bit different from the original story.

But Ye Yu could be certain that Sho was definitely here to capture Erza.

After confirming this, Ye Yu didn't hesitate at all and immediately activated Perception Magic.

Soon, Ye Yu sensed that quite a few mages with not-so-weak magic power had gathered nearby.

"Jellal, has he finally started acting?"

Just as Ye Yu was thinking this, a man wearing a headscarf not far away directly activated magic.

【Dark Magic, Dark Moment】

The moment this person activated the magic, the system's mechanical notification sound rang in Ye Yu's mind.

Ding, congratulations to the host, obtained Magic Power Attribute +5.

At the same time, the space where Ye Yu and Erza's group were located fell into pitch darkness, and nothing could be seen.

"What's going on?"

"I can't see anything!"

The moment they lost their vision, Lucy and Gray were both shocked.

And the man named Sho took the opportunity to activate Card Magic.

His Card Magic could trap opponents in a card space.

Judging by his posture, it seemed he intended to seal Ye Yu, Lucy, and Gray, the three people getting in the way, into the card space first.

This darkness came quickly and went quickly.

After a few breaths, the darkness dissipated instantly.

Erza recovered her vision.

The moment she recovered her vision, Erza scanned the surroundings.

Seeing that Ye Yu, Lucy, Gray, and Sho and the others were all safe and sound, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Although Erza breathed a sigh of relief, Sho looked at Ye Yu, Lucy, and Gray with surprise.

"What's going on? Why didn't my magic activate?" ===== CHAPTER 47 =====
