Chapter 557

Ainz Ooal Gown continued to ask: "Is it possible she died?"

"If Shalltear died, her name would disappear!"

After Albedo responded to Ainz Ooal Gown, she suggested somewhat angrily: "Ainz-sama, we should eliminate the traitor Shalltear as soon as possible!"

"Calm down, Albedo, we need to know Shalltear's specific situation right now!"

"First, let's find Shalltear first!"

As he spoke, Ainz Ooal Gown raised his right arm, and that skeletal hand grabbed at the void.

A void appeared instantly.

When Ainz Ooal Gown's skeletal hand withdrew from the black void, there was already an item like a crystal ball in his hand.

This is a divine artifact used for finding people.

Right now, Ainz Ooal Gown intended to use this divine artifact to investigate Shalltear's condition.

Without any hesitation, Ainz Ooal Gown immediately activated the divine artifact.

The next second, a scene appeared on the crystal ball in front of him.

What was presented in the scene was the place where Following Ye Yu and Shalltear had fought.

"Hmm?"

Ainz Ooal Gown looked at the scene in the crystal ball, and the scarlet flames in his skeletal pupils flickered slightly.

"What is it, Ainz-sama?"

Albedo asked Ainz Ooal Gown.

"Strange, why can't I find Shalltear?"

Ainz Ooal Gown adjusted the divine artifact several more times, but the scene presented in the artifact was always the place where Following Ye Yu and Shalltear had fought.

Shalltear just didn't appear.

In the Overlord world, items are divided from low to high into: Low-tier, Mid-tier, High-tier, Top-tier, Rare-class, Heritage-class, Relic-class, Legendary-class, Divine-class, and World-class.

Although Divine-class isn't considered the most top-tier item.

However, it also possesses immense power.

Like the Spuit Lance in Shalltear's hand, it is a Divine-class weapon.

Right now, Ainz Ooal Gown used a Divine-class reconnaissance item and actually didn't find Shalltear's whereabouts; even Ainz Ooal Gown was very surprised.

"Can't find Shalltear, how is that possible?"

Albedo also understood the capabilities of Divine-class items; hearing Ainz Ooal Gown's words, she leaned in to stare at the crystal ball, her beautiful face filled with disbelief.

Ainz Ooal Gown's slender skeletal hand moved the scene on the crystal ball over and over again.

But no matter how he adjusted it, he just couldn't find Shalltear.

He looked again at the red-colored Shalltear name on the virtual screen, then looked at the scene inside the crystal ball.

"What on earth happened?"

"Even a Divine-class item can't find Shalltear!"

"The only thing confirmed is that Shalltear is still alive; the name is red, so it's very likely she is under the manipulation of some kind of mental-type item or magic!"

"Even a divine artifact can't find Shalltear; it's possible Shalltear used a Divine-class anti-reconnaissance item, or it's possible Shalltear went to some other dimension..."

Ainz Ooal Gown thought constantly.

But the more he thought, the more irritable his mood became.

The force of Ainz Ooal Gown's skeletal hand gripping the edge of the throne also became increasingly huge.

Finally, Ainz Ooal Gown lost his patience.

"Damn it..."

Ainz Ooal Gown roared in rage, his skeletal hand exerted force suddenly, and the throne, made of some unknown metal, was crushed directly.

At the same time, a wisp of green light appeared on Ainz Ooal Gown's body.

This light was precisely Ainz Ooal Gown's forced calmness mechanism.

But even with this forced calmness, the anger in Ainz Ooal Gown's heart still couldn't be calmed.

The scarlet flames in Ainz Ooal Gown's skeletal pupils flickered wildly, then he ordered Albedo: "Albedo, notify everyone, Nazarick is to search for Shalltear's whereabouts with full force!"

"As you command!"

It was also the first time Albedo had seen Ainz Ooal Gown so angry.

Hearing Ainz Ooal Gown's words, Albedo didn't hesitate at all; after responding to Ainz Ooal Gown, she walked toward the outside of the great hall.

After Albedo's figure completely vanished, Ainz Ooal Gown's incredibly angry voice rang out in the great hall.

"No matter who manipulated Shalltear, I will drag them out!"

"Prepare to endure the wrath of Nazarick!" ===== CHAPTER 559 =====
