Chapter 761: If I Say Everything Now, There Will Be Nothing Left for Later

Check Dongqiu Di pinned post: The 2021 Ballon d'Or ceremony is underway; Bellingham wins the Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award.

Clap clap clap!

The venue was filled with applause dedicated to Bellingham.

If one looks at all the young players this year, excluding those like Tang Ye who have already won awards, then Bellingham is clearly the most suitable recipient of the Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award.

Everyone says Barcelona's Pedri is formidable.

But you must know that Bellingham is a Champions League winner!

With just this single buff stacked on his head, even if Pedri racked up ten more assists, it would be hard for him to withstand the pressure!

In the center of the award stage, Bellingham lifted his own Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award trophy, followed immediately by the flash of cameras from the front.

Although the Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award is not as significant as the Ballon d'Or, since the award was established in 2017, most of the winning players have achieved great success, leading journalists and fans to call it a "genius certification more authoritative than the Golden Boy Award."

Take an example.

The inaugural Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award winner—ggbond!

Only two years after winning the Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award, Tang Ye received his first Ballon d'Or!

"Thank you!"

"Thank you all very much!"

Bellingham bowed in gratitude, making eye contact respectively with Haaland and Pogba in the stands below, and of course, with Tang Ye.

"I am very grateful to my teammates for their support, because I know that my personal ability is limited; without the support of my teammates, I estimate it would have been very difficult for me to reach this step, at least not this quickly this year."

Bellingham recited the speech he had prepared long ago.

"Although some teammates who provided help to me are no longer at Borussia Dortmund..."

Upon hearing these words, the director immediately cut the camera to Tang Ye, who was sitting in the first row.

Tang Ye sat together with Rodri and Dembélé; these three were less than three meters away from the award stage.

"Some teammates who provided help to me are no longer at Borussia Dortmund."

Anyone who has watched even a little football knows exactly who Bellingham was talking about.

By specifically saying this, one could say that Bellingham counts as the type of person who understands gratitude.

Do not forget the well-digger when drinking water.

Bellingham had won the Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award, yet he did not thereby forget the Master's assistance to him!

Of course, for the Master, these were all just trivial matters.

The kind not worth mentioning!

Clap clap clap clap!!!

The Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award concluded, the Women's Ballon d'Or concluded, and the award ceremony for the Best Goalkeeper also concluded.

Today's supporting characters successively exited the stage, and the atmosphere in the venue began to grow tense.

Awards like the Goalkeeper Goalkeeper Kepa Award and the Women's Ballon d'Or were ultimately games for only a small minority.

The dozens of guests appearing today were all here for the Ballon d'Or rankings!

"Ladies and gentlemen... next we will officially announce the 2021 FIFA Ballon d'Or."

Clap clap clap clap!!!!

【I can't catch my breath, brothers!】

【Don't panic, it's totally secure; if Tang Ye doesn't win the Ballon d'Or, I'll uninstall Check Dongqiu Di right now.】

【Why does it feel like many people are shouting for Lewandowski to win the Ballon d'Or lately? When did my Uncle Wan buy a water army?】

【I'll name a number: two Ballons d'Or! Not one less!】

【Brothers, I've already locked onto the Théâtre du Châtelet on Google Maps; if Tang Ye doesn't get the Ballon d'Or, launch the missile directly, okay?】

"Are you very nervous?"

Tang Ye looked at Dembélé beside him.

"Hmm, why should I be nervous? This has nothing to do with me."

"Of course you should be nervous; you're about to learn your ranking."

"You're overthinking it; it's just a ranking, impossible to be nervous about."

After saying this, Dembélé suddenly changed tack: "However... if he gives me a ranking that's too low, then I will curse him."

"Haha!"

Tang Ye pointed at Dembélé and said softly, "This is nervousness."

"You want to see how far you are from the Ballon d'Or, whether you're almost within touching distance."

"..."

Dembélé looked left and right, confirming that the attention of the guests nearby was not on him, then lowered his head and used his fingers to measure the distance between himself and Tang Ye: "30 cm!"

"What 30 cm?"

"You asked how far I am from the Ballon d'Or; it's 30 cm."

"..."

"Haha!"

The two finished their bickering, and the venue grew quieter and quieter.

The guests' attention turned to the large screen on the award stage.

29th place: Modrić (Real Madrid, Croatia).

29th place: Azpilicueta (Chelsea, Spain).

Clap clap clap clap!!!

Clap clap clap!!!

Generally speaking, there is little controversy beyond the top 20, so everyone need only applaud.

Even if there were genuine controversy, the players themselves wouldn't say much about it.

……

24th place: Foden (Mancheng, England).

23rd place: Pedri (Barça, Spain).

22nd place: De Ligt (Manchester United, Netherlands).

At the 22nd position, the first Manchester United player finally appears.

His appearance is relatively late, yet De Ligt himself, upon learning his ranking, can hardly be considered happy.

Because compared to 2020, De Ligt's performance in 2021 has declined significantly, failing to meet his own expectations and those of the fans!

……

16th place: Neymar (Paris, Brazil).

"Not very good."

Tang Ye covered his mouth and began discussing Neymar with Dembélé beside him.

"He's been injured too often! Otherwise, he should have been in the top ten!"

"I rarely agree with your viewpoint, but this time you are indeed correct, Ousmane!"

……

Pinned post from Dong Qiudui: The 2021 Ballon d'Or rankings are being announced; B. Fernandes is 14th, Lukaku 13th.

……

10th place: De Bruyne (Mancheng, Belgium).

"Wow!!"

Clap clap clap!!!!

The venue was filled with applause for De Bruyne, but at this moment, many guests had already noticed something.

They had already reached the top 10, yet many Manchester United players had still not appeared!

Hiss...

Scenes from 2019 flooded the minds of some guests in the audience.

They remembered that back then, Manchester United had nearly dominated the final top ten of the Ballon d'Or.

This year, the situation seemed even more exaggerated!

9th place: Salah (Liwupu, Egypt).

8th place: C. Ronaldo (Juventus, Manchester United, Portugal).

Finally, another Manchester United player arrived; it was C. Ronaldo, ranked 8th.

If it were any other player seeing themselves ranked eighth, they would surely jump up with joy.

But C. Ronaldo was not that kind of person.

When the camera shifted over, one could see that C. Ronaldo hadn't even stood up to applaud for himself.

Clearly, this ranking was insufficient to satisfy him.

7th place: De Jong (Manchester United, Netherlands).

"Not in the top five!"

De Jong sighed with emotion, then realizing his words had been somewhat loud, he covered his mouth and hastily stood up to express his thanks.

"Haha!"

6th place: Rodri (Manchester United, Spain).

"Hey!"

Tang Ye punched Rodri beside him, who also stood up.

"Hmm... Due to the particularity of Manchester United's tactics, we can see that the Ballon d'Or rankings for these two players, De Jong and Rodri, have always been quite close."

"Eh, there have only been two award ceremonies in total, right?"

"Haha!"

"Yes, indeed, there are only the rankings from 2019 and 2021, but in both those years, they were indeed consecutive, or rather, the gap between them was very, very small."

The commentators' tones sounded relaxed, but listening closely, one could sense that their voices were already somewhat unsteady.

This was a sign of excessive nervousness!

Unknowingly, they had already reached the top five!
