Chapter 378 378: BAD NEWS

My mother was pronounced dead at dawn today. She was rushed to the emergency triage of a public hospital, where she passed away from respiratory failure.

I did not expect to begin my day with news of such profound loss. The most painful aspect is that she died in another state while attending a funeral, without any immediate family members present to offer comfort during her final moments.

I have taken time to compose myself before sharing this message. This week will be devoted to mourning and assisting with the arrangements for her funeral. I apologise for the abrupt nature of this announcement. I am aware that many of you were anticipating updates on the concluding stages of this season for JTBU and FS, and I regret the delay.

Having experienced the loss of my father, my closest sister, and now my mother over the past fourteen years, all in painful ways, I possess some familiarity with grief.
