Chapter 180: Taking Action

"Here is another big dumb guy..." Several Plunderers stared at the fully transformed Li Ping.

They showed no signs of fear, even though they knew the other party was far stronger than them.

"I advise you to surrender without a fight. If anything happens to us, this ship of yours will be blown to pieces!"

"You should know what happens when a spaceship is blown up in the vast starry sky, right?"

The other party was clearly fearless due to backing. They were just scouts; the true controller was still behind them.

Elephant Forest's face gradually filled with despair. He trembled like a leaf, a bad premonition welling up in his heart. Given their level of caution, they were definitely not ordinary Plunderers.

Their strength was likely far greater than initially estimated.

A scarlet figure shot out directly from the blast door at extreme speed, crashing straight into Li Ping.

Li Ping attempted to fight back, but it was impossible to break free from the opponent's grip. The attacker was actually a B-Class Lifeform.

"Boss, why did you come personally!?" The few Plunderers were visibly surprised. This was not quite in line with their plan.

Weren't they supposed to clear out all the threats before the boss came aboard?

The boss suppressed Li Ping and said coldly, "It is no major threat. There is no need to waste too much time. Every additional moment spent here adds another degree of danger."

A steady stream of Plunderers emerged from the blast door, led by their respective captains. In just a brief moment, nearly a hundred Plunderers had gathered there.

He ordered, "Go confiscate all their communication devices. Be careful not to harm their lives, or you will pay with your own!"

"Yes!" The Plunderers replied full of vigor, though their voices were disjointed.

Immediately after, among the Interstellar Travelers, a few individuals who had not been anesthetized stood up and walked over to their boss.

"You did very well. Are there any other suspicious people?" he inquired.

"Boss, everyone with the capability to resist is right here," one of the Snitches said, pointing around.

"Tie them all up!"

Li Ping was bound tightly by high-energy magnetic locks, completely unable to move. Those few D-Class Lifeforms who barely maintained consciousness but lost their ability to resist met an even more miserable fate, being knocked out cold directly.

Because Elephant Forest had too strong of a body odor, no one was willing to approach him, so he was ultimately forced to lock himself up.

During this delay, some Interstellar Travelers gradually woke up. Still slightly disoriented upon opening their eyes, they quickly discovered these fierce Plunderers snatching their smart terminals and various belongings.

Ear-piercing screams immediately erupted.

"Scream again, and I'll kill you!" The Plunderers aimed their energy rifles at the shrieking Interstellar Travelers.

A massive amount of luggage was pulled down and scattered all over the floor. The Plunderers moved from the back to the front, gradually making their way into first class.

"Hey, Three-Legged, don't forget about me when you're done!" Another Plunderer called out from a short distance away. He was also an interstellar human.

Sinai could not help but pull her coat tighter around herself, though the thin garment provided no sense of security.

"Since leaving the No Man's Land System, I haven't had a taste of meat for a very long time." Licking his lips, he slowly reached out his hand.

Sinai's expression turned to one of terror. She continuously shrank back, but the space was so limited that she had nowhere to go.

She cast pleading glances around, but with wails and screams rising from all sides, there was simply no one who could help her.

"Bad man, don't touch my mom!"

Slap! Keller smacked the Plunderer's hand away.

He froze for a moment, then his ferocious features twisted into something even more terrifying. Letting out a neurotic laugh, he raised the energy rifle in his hand and aimed it squarely at Keller.

"No... no!" Sinai hurriedly shielded Keller behind her, spreading her arms wide.

"Heh... hehe..." The Plunderer cackled crazily, looking as though he might pull the trigger in the very next second.

In reality, he did not dare to pull the trigger. After all, every hostage represented hundreds of thousands of Star Coins. The boss had just declared that anyone who killed a hostage would be buried along with them.

However, the hostages did not know that. Seeing their desperate pleas gave him a twisted sense of pleasure.

A muffled thud rang out. Li Yu frowned slightly and exchanged a glance with Mo Duo. Both of them had the same question in their eyes: 'Did you do that?'

"What happened!?"

The surrounding Plunderers immediately panicked, still completely unaware of what had just transpired.

The commotion here caught the attention of the Plunderer Leader. The armor on his head slid back into place layer by layer as he walked over, acting extremely cautious.

Li Yu's eyes flashed slightly. In the command center of the Plunderers' warship, someone was sitting in front of the command console, legs crossed, humming an unknown melody.

"More than two thousand people. That should extort over two billion Star Coins. With that, we can buy a few second-hand warships and go throw our weight around in some minor civilization."

"Damn it, the days recently have truly been unlivable..."

He was busy calculating and failed to notice that, at some point, his body had been covered by a silvery-white liquid.

He convulsed all over, trembling uncontrollably. He wanted to say something, but his head was already completely covered. Dense metallic blocks shifted and formed into the Titan Colonization Armor.

"What is going on?" The Plunderer Leader looked at the subordinate with the exploded head, then turned to the unusually behaving Keller.

Sinai shook her head vigorously, but it was useless. A mechanical arm extended from the ribs of the scarlet armor, reaching out to snatch Keller away.

"Hey..." Li Yu patted the Plunderer Leader on the shoulder. The mechanical arm that had been reaching for Keller immediately swept backward in a vicious arc.

Li Yu caught and crushed it directly in his hand. Looking at the scarlet armor that had turned around, he rubbed his fingers together and slowly ground the arm into pieces. Electric arcs sparked, and shattered components scattered across the floor.

Twelve of his thirteen warships from his prime had been blown up, leaving only one to eke out a miserable existence.

Two chains extended from Li Yu's back, connecting to the Red and White Twin Blades, and slashed toward the opponent.

Red and white flashes intertwined. Like two agile mechanical snakes, they continuously hacked at the opponent's body.

Sparks flew in all directions, leaving many cracks on the scarlet armor, but it did not result in a completely one-sided beatdown. Nine Magnetic Energy Metal Spheres dropped from the ribs of the scarlet armor, orbiting around him in a specific trajectory.

The Red and White Twin Blades clashed with the snake heads. Everything between the two figures became a blur; only the constant collisions of black shadows and red-and-white radiance could be seen.

Both men were restraining their destructive output on the surroundings. If they breached the Travel Ship's hull, neither would escape death.

Li Yu's eyes widened slightly, feeling a baffling sense of déjà vu. He said with a hint of regret, "You remind me of someone. It is a pity... my personal doctor told me not to use force recently, otherwise, I would have truly loved to exchange a few more moves with you."

He then raised his right arm. The arm armor extended to both sides as mechanical components continued to spread and interlock, eventually forming a Mechanical Giant Bow.

The black Cursed Arrow slowly emerged from the arm armor. The bow was drawn back and nocked automatically, aiming directly at the Snake Boss.

The armor on his body was torn open as if it were made of paper.

Li Yu raised his hand, stopping the Cursed Arrow just as it was about to puncture the ship's wall, and summoned it back. The twisted black text on it was somewhat dim, clearly undergoing a cooldown phase.

The Plunderer Leader stumbled. The armor on his head retracted completely as a massive amount of blood flowed out. He was incessantly coughing up blood from his mouth.

His eyes were filled with disbelief, as if he found it difficult to accept the fact that he was going to die here today.

"You..." he squeezed out with great difficulty. His eyes lit up slightly, resembling a brief resurgence before final decline.

The power of the Cursed Arrow had completely eroded his body; otherwise, a mere puncture wound through his chest would not have brought him to the brink of death.

As time ticked by, the Plunderer Leader widened his eyes, twisted black runes crawling all over his body. 'Why... hasn't it exploded yet!?'

"Are you wondering why it hasn't exploded yet?" Li Yu squatted beside him and asked considerately, before flashing a smile.

"Because I've already hacked your warship."

The Plunderer Leader on the ground spurted a large mouthful of blood. He stared intently at Li Yu and seemed to want to raise his arm, but was completely powerless to do so. Without being able to utter a single word, he completely lost his life.

The expressions of all the surrounding Plunderers changed drastically as terror surfaced on their faces.

'The boss is dead!?'

'How is that possible!'

But the truth was right before their eyes, forcing them to accept reality.

The Interstellar Travelers had yet to fully react. This emotional roller coaster was simply too much of a test for their mental endurance. Only after a moment did looks of wild ecstasy surface. They stared at Li Yu in the center of the room with such excitement that they practically wanted to kowtow in gratitude.

Standing up, Li Yu looked around. Those Plunderers looked at each other in dismay, not yet having the time to react.

Squelch! Squelch! Squelch!

The Red and White Twin Blades moved, crisscrossing through the cabin and flawlessly piercing the corporeal form of every single Plunderer.

Whether it was an ordinary Plunderer or a C-Class captain, no one was spared.

One end of the silvery-white chains extended from Li Yu's back, skewering the Plunderers together like a kabob. Blood dripped down the chains and splattered onto the floor.

The Plunderers stared with wide eyes, trembling as they looked down.

Along with another series of sounds, the Red and White Twin Blades retracted.

The cabin was dead silent. The wild ecstasy on the Interstellar Travelers' faces froze. They no longer knew if they should continue being happy or start feeling terrified.
